We were very disappointed with the room in all honesty, it wasn't the cleanest as my wife kept getting dust mite bites, the bed was very uncomfortable, to the point where neither of us got much sleep over the 3 nights we were there. Parking was an issue. Only good thing was that the hotel was very near to Skegness town centre. The whole hotel, not just our room was crying out for renovation, carpets, paintwork, everything. Even the floorboards were broken in places as we discovered when walking to and from our room.

Booked it with free breakfast ,but no free breakfasts. Spoke to manager they said never had offered free breakfast. Sheet had stains, pillows lumpy, mattresses well worn where people have to sit on them as it was a very small room. Walls so thin sneezed and people on the path goingm by blessed me. There was a car space between the room wall and the path. And we were lucky enough to have children or child above us that like to run from the second it woke up until they were sleeping. Bedding didnt look clean and certainly wasn't ironed if it was. Television didn't work, manager had to show us the knack, but no instructions to help and it was late the first night we tried to watch something. Wifi so intermittant day and night. I didn't sleep well and couldn't use it much in the night had to hot spot partners phone. Parking hit and miss, if you got a spot you were lucky, I am disabled and had to park accross the road several times as not able to reserved spaces. Front entrance carpet really needs replacing and decorating wouldn't go amiss. I felt the couple running it were trying but seemed to be many rooms and no other staff. I really felt for them so I didn't complain about all the issues as I couldn't see what they could do about them.

The hosts are very friendly, check in was super quick and easy. Our room was quite spacious as was the ensuite. Comfortable bed and clean room. The rooms lobby and landings could do with a facelift, it's a bit dated, but basic amenities are more than adequate. Breakfast is purchased separately if required and is reasonably priced. I'd return there for a night or two. Parking can be challenge, but is not impossible, we were told to park on the gravel at the front, as long as you don't block anyone in it's perfectly fine. Close to the sea front and central clock tower, sealife centre crazy golf and theatre. Turn right out of the top of the road and there's a tranquil little rockery garden on the front I've never been to until now. Enjoy your stay.
