The double queen room was a nice surprise. Had a kitchenette and living room space. Although the pool isint anything special have quite a few sister properties near by that you can use.

Great, out of the way place, however pool out of order and no hot water in room.

The property needs a litle bit of update, the person on the front desck was never there. I ask for bodywash ,Inever get it. also ask for beach towels and they never gave me one. The staff allowed people to put loud music in the pool area and let children jump in and out the pool. disterbing everyone in there. On the good side, The location is great , it was very clean and secure to walk by. The free buss to la Olas Blvrd. drop you just near the hotel. the beach is walking distance.

Pool has no light, rooms has some bright white bulbs and some soft white bulbs. Room lights are in almost all hotels soft white which gives the room a more cozy feeling, etc. Bright white or Natural White is for outside around the property. Also kitchens with no glass or silver ware.

The rooms were very clean. But the pool was super dirty. You could even see bottle caps at the bottom. So we couldn't use the pool. When we complained, they told us that there had been a party the day before and that they couldn't clean it because it was Sunday and they didn't have staff to do it and that we could go to another pool in another building that belongs to the same complex. Well, obviously we found it super uncomfortable to go from one place to another. So we didn't enjoy it as much as we expected.

The hotel is nice! Three pools and a 3 minute walk to the beach! I would 100% rebook this place. I liked that I could use text message to talk with the front desk instead of having to walk to the desk.

Only con was there wasn’t many chairs around the pool. Hotel was not crowded so it wasn’t a problem but I could see it being an issue if it was more busy

You cant beat the price and location. Pools are great and they have a grill I have stayed here 3 times and love walking to the beach about 300 yds

WAs completely satisfied but not to happy that when there is no parking which we paid for .. we had to park our car down the street in a grass parking lot which we were never made aware of . If we would have know we probably would have taken an uber to go eat dinner near by .

Staff was not at the front desk and there was a big storm coming. The coffee maker had mold, it was disgusting. One of my pillows had a lipstick stain and the floor had cookie crumbles. Not reccomended for the price

The place was fine for the price and location. However, the room needed more attention in cleaning. Dust was visible on the walls. The shower wasn't very clean, nor was the floor. Additionally, the door was difficult to open because it would get stuck and required force to open and close it.

I love this style of hotel! My only issue was I could have used another lamp. It seemed dark. I know being near the beach in Florida there will be a musty smell, but this room it was very strong of musty and bleach. I left the door open for a little while but I think it's just the age and location of the hotel.

Great price but room had broken glasses when we walked in and had a strange odor. No complaints other than that perfect stay

All of our stuff smelled like mold even if all our clothes was washed before leaving. The chemical they use to clean is overpowering too maybe to mask the moldy smell Door was impossible to open and had to cross the road each time you deal with front desk. Nothing they did to resolve the issue.

Loved the bedroom and living room setup, perfect for spring break. Price was very reasonable and you are given free beach towels as well. Water pressure was like a fire hose if that’s what you’re into. Only gripe was that the floors were never cleaned in our 5 night stay, so towards the end you basically had to wear shoes inside if you didn’t want your feet to be gross. Other than that the cleanliness was good and housekeeping stayed on top of everything else.

We don't recommend Tranquilo "Hotel" at all. Shouldn't be referred to as a resort hotel. They have 5 buildings, but the one they put us in was not updated and the pool looked disgustingly dirty and had broken off pieces of the pool floor. The main building looked somewhat updated on the outside with two good pools; don't know if the bedrooms were updated. Never saw the other 3, but must be somewhat the same. The pictures posted on Hotels.com were very deceiving, especially the bathroom one - only showed the the top part of the shower (in our room, it was an old tub that had been completely sprayed painted including the tiles, with a shower head). The bedroom and bathroom tile flooring were encrusted with old dirt and were dirty in general. I had to wipe down the soles of my slippers with a wet towel to remove the disgusting dirt that got on them. The bathroom was always wet and humid, including the flimsy thin towels. The toilet paper rolls felt damp.

The beds did not have comforters. It was a light throw blanket and sheets.. the room I reserved still had people’s clothes in it and a razor on the bathroom floor and dirt in the sink.

Location was quite good, a few blocks off Ft Lauderdale beach. However, the unit we had was dirty and had a horrible musty smell, was. Unbearable. Would not stay at this property again

Very spacious and clean room, was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite so the extra space was appreciated. Plenty of parking. Not much in the immediate area, though. Overall a solid night’s value.

The room smell moist and the AC was not fully functionally. The mattresses were in bad conditions.

Great stay. I wish the internet didn’t go out as many times as it did but the room was comfortable enough to ignore

Everything was Perfect!... that's why I came back again!! Room is Huge!!

The AC unit in the room was not able to maintain a comfortable temp. The room has a nice ceiling fan with light, but there was no way to turn on the fan. There was a remote in the room that did not word dor the AC unit or fan ??? Noone checks in tomsee how your check in went and there are no guidelines for how to use the AC or fan. We were only here for 1 night. Moving on to another guest house.

The rooms were somewhat small. The terrazzo floors made the rooms look somewhat unkept or unclean because they weren’t in the best shape but everything else seemed clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was close to the beach.

The room was mostly clean, very dated. It looks nothing like the photos. The bed is full size, not queen and very low to the ground. It’s walkable to many restaurants and the beach.

The staff was super friendly and the property was within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. We had 5 in our party and had plenty of space.

Overall, a pretty good stay. I did cut my foot on a piece of glass the first day. The AC leaked. The smoke detector was “beeping” the second night. Room was clean, beds were ok, service was also ok. Pool was pretty nice, although fairly small. But there is 3 of them. Overall, a nice little place to stay that is close to the beach and other amenities.

Do NOT recommend! VERY HARD to get in contact with someone. You have a main office that NEVER has a single person in it, so you have to push a video doorbell button that then promises someone is coming. But don’t take that as a promise because sometimes they will & sometimes they just won't. They also do not have a direct phone call line. They have a service line that deals with multiple locations. We had several issues at this hotel. The first room was full of cockroaches, I literally found the first one crawling up to me when I was laying in bed reading a book. Then I found another when I went to use the restroom so I called the office. They said “someone will be out.” After 45 minutes I again call the service number and they assure me again someone would be out, mind you it is now almost midnight. Someone showed up 20 minutes after that asking for “proof” which luckily I recorded these bugs because how rude is that! I didn’t save them to show someone!!!! BUT I did have videos LUCKILY! Then they offered us a new room so then we had to wake up our kids and move rooms in the middle of the night. The next room was a bit cleaner, no signs of bugs but we all woke up SWEATING. So I called the service number as we were leaving because we couldn’t breathe in our room. After 3 phone calls (which I have screen shots of all of this,) and 6 hours later, we were allowed to return to our room. We were offered absolutely nothing for these issues! The manager is still yet to call me back!

The hotel seemed nice from the start, very nice front desk personnel. Big and clean room, which did have a weird smell. Unfortunately the stay ended up being less nice due to other guests who had a party by the pool. There was limited staff around and the one who did show up after a call, was not able to stop the party. I wanted to like this place but not sure I can recommend this due to poor management of the issue we faced.

The housekeeping staff did not follow through on issues that I had daily in the room. I'm not sure if the front desk staff was communicating with them or just ignoring my request.

Nicholi the Front Desk agent is amazing. He really enjoys his job and you can tell. He was very knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations.

They where accommodating with my handicap ensuring I had a room on the first floor I had a couple of minor problems when I called with my problem they where there less than 10minutes and fixed the proplem less than 5minutes. Great choice of Hotel

AMAZING STAY WITH HELPFUL STAFF

The staff was very helpful from the time I checked in until I left...I arrived 4 hours before check-in and was allowed to check-in for a small fee but regardless so appreciated because I was exhausted.

Staff was very friendly and the room had everything we needed! Area was within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Would come here again!

Communication was excellent! They text me prior to arriving and gave instructions and a number to text in case no one was at the desk when I arrived. Once at the property, check-in was very easy and staff was very accomodating and helpful. Room was very nice, bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and location was PERFECT! Will definitely stay again!!

While the location, layout, facilities and cleanliness were top notch, I arrived after dark to no one in the office. After 2 phone calls, someone came over from the main office. Would have been nice to have this info in the welcome email.

Our family has stayed at Tranquilo several times in the last few years and we have always had a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and surround areas were clean. The hotel is located in a quiet street so there isn’t a lot of traffic which is good for walking/jogging. As far as dining there are a few places within walking distance to grab a quick bite to eat or maybe some last minute snacks/drinks for the beach.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. To find good accommodations for a reasonable price that close to the beach was a big win.

It's well situated.

Really close to the beach. It wasn’t anything glamorous, but it was clean. Pool was nice. Kitchen was a little sparse on utensils, but we made it work. Was nice to be able to prepare breakfast and lunches, because the food anywhere near was expensive. Could walk to Publix and pick up anything you needed. The grills were nice and clean also. Nice to be able to grill a meal or two if you wanted.

Property exceeded my expectations. Had a great date night. Live in Florida and just wanted to get away for an evening. Went to a great restaurant within walking distance and took an Uber to a club 15 minutes away. Property was clean and front desk was quick and cheerful.

Can walk to beach and restaurant. Had kitchenette fully supplied with pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc.

For the most part everything was ok. This is an older hotel but updated. Very large room. If you not familiar with terrazzo floors, be sure to bring slippers. No restaurants on site you have to walk two blocks. But overall a lot close, like beach, shopping and loads of restaurants within walking distance.

Very impressed, older bldgs, have been renovated. Super clean, really big suite with kitchenette, would definitely come back for a longer stay. Great location, easy to walk to restaurants and beach. Staff was professional, oh and lots of pools onsite.

Just a perfect spot to stay. Clean and spacious, great pools and atmosphere. The area is really nice and walkable to cafés and shops, very close to the beach. Kids loved it, too. Highly recommend!

Property is a collection of many small boutique hotels each with their own pool… several exceptional dining spots also within walking distance… loved the “Wine Garden” food was hands down the finest Italian I’ve had in south Florida… our waitress Alice was on point, very sweet, fast service our dinner was seamless! You MUST go! We enjoyed the blues tunes with some great home made humus and some drinks! We also enjoyed our very delicious lunch at the pool bar and grill. Very convenient! Only downside our room could have used at least a table with chairs and some more furniture to place clothes.
