We stayed for 2 nights, met on arrival by our friendly hosts. Room was as described, clean and comfortable, tea and coffee and bottled water also available. Bathroom was clean and shower great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast room was spotlessly clean, it is clear the hosts take a lot of pride. Breakfast had a great choice available, from quality branded cereals, fresh fruit daily, Greek yoghurt and cooked breakfast made to your preference. Plenty of juices, teas and coffees. The B&B is located in a quiet area with off-street parking and approx. 20 minutes steady paced walk into the centre of Whitby. We thought the location was great and it suited us as we enjoyed the walk along the cliff and coast line enjoying the view. Overall our stay was extremely enjoyable and relaxing, good location, great breakfast and welcoming hosts. We would definitely return and happy to recommend! 😊

Both my husband and I were so happy with the establishment and with the owners. Chris (manager) made us so welcome. There was plenty of parking space, and our room and en-suite was so clean, comfortable and quiet. The promenade was close by and we had a pleasurable walk into Whitby. In the morning, the owners made a lovely and refreshing breakfast, and the young lady who brought our meal was so polite and pleasant. We would be more than happy to go to Haven Crest again.

Although the rooms were small, they were adequate, sparklingly clean, comfortable and ours had sea views. All appeared fairly new and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully served. Easy access, and parking. The hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly. We did have problems getting the shower to stay at the correct temperature i.e. kept going from too hot to cold. Apart from that, everything was wonderful.

We were a bit worried about the location and how long it would take to walk into Whitby town , but the location was perfect just a little nice walk . Parking was a plus it was good not having to worry about the car . Hosts and staff couldn't have been nicer I'd definitely recommend staying here .

The breakfast was excellent a lovely choice the young lady who served us breakfast was so friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent, parking ok.the owner was so nice, friendly and helpful. Would recommend Haven crest whitby definitely. Thank you Haven crest for a lovely stay.

Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. The room had a comfortable double bed, ensuit bathroom and provided with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits.I was met by the host on arrival and given a tour so I knew where everything was, rather than have to try and find it. In the moring excellent breakfast service and later attention to the room and replacement of drinks used. I understand there is about to be some up grade work, although I don't think it needs any, so will be even better. The walk into Whitby is about 20 minutes, either on the cliff road or from the top of Upgang Lane, where there is a covenience store and postbox and then side road into town. Whilst there is no evening meal, a pub restaurant just across the road serves excellent meals and is a quiet place to relax if not venturing out. Fully recommend the Haven Crest, only down side is there are steps at the front so probably not suitable for wheelcahir users, otherwise excellent. Will definately use on a next trip to Whitby.

The only thing I could have found fault with was the shower - it was more like gentle rain, rather than a tropical storm. Having said that, I had a great stay. The property is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Cleveland Way, giving the oportunity of a 15 minute walk into Whitby in one direction and about a half hour walk to Sandsend in the other. Also close to regular bus service. There was a warm welcome, great service, plenty of parking space, a lovely comfy bed and great choice for an English breakfast.

Sehr schöne und sehr saubere Zimmer im perfekten Zustand. Sehr, sehr freundlicher Eigentümer, der viele Tipps für Ausflüge hat. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig.

Owners are very friendly and helpful and serve a great breakfast. We got the last available room and it was a bit small but adequate. Ensuite is modern. Across the road from a pub for a meal. Very basic room but would stay again

We unfortunately had to leave in the night As my mum couldn’t cope at all. But the room was fantastic. The view even though I didn’t get my breakfast. The customer service was amazing. I’m just gutted my mums to to poorly. I thought I had this year to take places of they took us as kids. But she can’t manage To sleep at night and wonders around the house. She wanted go out the room. Because she was so restless. My apologies for any disturbance as we got up to leave in the middle of the night. I really wanted to this year to be I Whitby as much as possible. When I get a chance to take some time off. My mums not going to be able to come. I very rarely get a rest caring for your parents. But would highly recommend this lovely b&b. I hope they understood

The only thing I could have found fault with was the shower - it was more like gentle rain, rather than a tropical storm. Having said that, I had a great stay. The property is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and the Cleveland Way, giving the oportunity of a 15 minute walk into Whitby in one direction and about a half hour walk to Sandsend in the other. Also close to regular bus service. There was a warm welcome, great service, plenty of parking space, a lovely comfy bed and great choice for an English breakfast.

We had a very warm welcome and the room was perfect. The location was fantastic and Chris and Faye had great recommendations for things to do. Breakfast was lovely and overall a brilliant stay and would highly recommend a visit.

Great B&B with perfect hosts in a good location. A fair walk into the centre of Whitby but fine if you don't mind that and prefer a quieter spot with lovely views! Chris was very welcoming and helpful re parking when we arrived. Fay couldn't have been more attentive at breakfast (lovely food too). Very happy to recommend and would definitely love to go back.

Although the rooms were small, they were adequate, sparklingly clean, comfortable and ours had sea views. All appeared fairly new and very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully served. Easy access, and parking. The hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly. We did have problems getting the shower to stay at the correct temperature i.e. kept going from too hot to cold. Apart from that, everything was wonderful.

Both my husband and I were so happy with the establishment and with the owners. Chris (manager) made us so welcome. There was plenty of parking space, and our room and en-suite was so clean, comfortable and quiet. The promenade was close by and we had a pleasurable walk into Whitby. In the morning, the owners made a lovely and refreshing breakfast, and the young lady who brought our meal was so polite and pleasant. We would be more than happy to go to Haven Crest again.

Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. The room had a comfortable double bed, ensuit bathroom and provided with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits.I was met by the host on arrival and given a tour so I knew where everything was, rather than have to try and find it. In the moring excellent breakfast service and later attention to the room and replacement of drinks used. I understand there is about to be some up grade work, although I don't think it needs any, so will be even better. The walk into Whitby is about 20 minutes, either on the cliff road or from the top of Upgang Lane, where there is a covenience store and postbox and then side road into town. Whilst there is no evening meal, a pub restaurant just across the road serves excellent meals and is a quiet place to relax if not venturing out. We love the location as it makes a good walk into Whitby or Sandsend. The room was precisely as advertised and very cosy and comfortable. Ample parking on site. Your hosts are very welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We will be back whenever accommodation is needed in the area.
We love the location as it makes a good walk into Whitby or Sandsend. The room was precisely as advertised and very cosy and comfortable. Ample parking on site. Your hosts are very welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We will be back whenever accommodation is needed in the area.
