A charming property. This is an old hotel with bathrooms which appear to have been added to the rooms. Our room overlooked the lake, it was so foggy, that most of the time, we couldn’t see Como or the lake. Dinner was very good (make a reservation). Breakfast was more than sufficient - we had 15 minutes to eat breakfast as we had to leave to drive to Zurich to catch a train. Traffic in Como was insane. Also, several streets up to the hotel are only one car width wide (but two-way streets) so you must be very comfortable with driving on narrow streets and backing up on narrow streets to let other cars go by. I was very glad our rental car was small. We had a reserved parking spot (a must if you are driving) and it worked out well. Staff were all great.
