Coron Westown Resort

Es un hotel con instalaciones de áreas comunes muy lindas pero habitaciones algo viejas, la atención está por debajo del promedio de hoteles en filipinas que son exagerados con el buen servicio. Les pedí unas toallas prestadas y que no podían prestar solo las rentaban. En concusión es un buen hotel pero podrían mejorar el servicio.

La primera noche fue el servicio de restaurante más bochornoso de mi vida. Lo peor de todo es qué no somos exquisitos. El camarero ni nos miraba, no venía, la orden la cogía mal, le pedíamos algo y ni nos miraba, la comida incomestible, tuvimos que pedir los 4 otro plato de comida, nos dejaron los platos enteros en la mesa y ni se dignaron a preguntar si nos había gustado o no. Por otro lado, la habitación para 4 personas está bien, y las instalaciones normales. La recepción servicio bastante mejorable, y los botones muy buen servicio. Además, el último día fuimos a la piscina, pedimos toallas y nadie vino, tuvimos que repetirlo 3 veces y cuando porfin viene alguien, nos dicen que sólo tienen 2 y somos 4.

Check-in was easy and the reception staff were extremely helpful, which made a great first impression. However, the experience at the pool bar was disappointing. The bartender seemed unmotivated and lacked attention to detail. There was a promotion advertised at 480 PHP for a buy-one-get-one cocktail, yet we were asked to pay 500 PHP. It’s a small difference, but honesty matters and would likely be rewarded with tips. Some alcohol options were unavailable, which limited choices. When I asked if a cocktail could be made using local rum or whisky instead of brandy, the request was refused without much explanation. When the drinks arrived, most of our group felt they lacked alcohol and tasted more like juice. On a positive note, dinner at the poolside restaurant was enjoyable. There was live music creating a great atmosphere, the food was nice, and the bartender there was very helpful. After we mentioned the issue with the cocktails, he listened, took note, and made sure the next ones were much better. The location itself seems like it has seen better days. Around the pool area, some wooden planks need repair, with nails sticking out that could be a safety hazard. Overall, a mixed experience with strong service at reception and restaurant, but improvements needed at the pool bar and maintenance.
