Un bon séjour dans cet hôtel 4*, malgré tout un peu cher pour les prestations proposées. Les « plus » : la cadre (en pleine forêt tropicale, piscine, bar et restaurant avec vue splendide sur l’océan), le service, le bar (superbes cocktails), le spa (expérience unique en bord de rivière dans la forêt !). Les « moins » : route non goudronnée et très cabossée pour y accéder (SUV vraiment requis, et 10 minutes pour rejoindre la route principale !), les villas pas très bien agencées et à rafraîchir ! (du moisi et de la rouille dans la douche, très peu de rangements, rideaux défraîchis…), le bruit des cuisines du restaurant et du bar qui sont un peu trop présents lorsque l’on est dans les villas 1 et 2 (deluxe, vue océan), le restaurant un peu cher (compter minimum 70$ à deux pour un repas 1 plat avec boisson).

This place is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a true luxury experience, definitely give Oxygen a try. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon and were very impressed by the service we received. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and the bar serves up delicious drinks.

A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. There is lots to explore locally including the free waterfalls you can access from the hotel, a bigger waterfall further down the hill which id definitely recommend and Marino Ballena National park. The only reasons why I haven’t rated this 5 stars is I think the food is very expensive for Costa Rica (and was not the best food we had on our trip - dinner for two was $100 for a shared starter and dessert and a main each, no drinks) and the breakfast is lacking. For the price and calibre of the hotel, you’d expect a continental buffet or something alongside the one breakfast option you get to pick. On our first morning we ordered a smoothie bowl and paid for this in addition as we would have still been hungry otherwise. We noticed other people ordering and paying for additional fruit etc. which I don’t think is right for the price point of this place. I would avoid villa 1, we had a sewage smell (which they did look into) and it’s very close to the pool/staff area. We could hear them early which didn’t bother us as we were up early anyway but if you want to lay in, I’d request a different villa.

Awesome place the staff after a few days started to feel like family. The views that we had there were excellent. The food was very good, the pool and the villas are top notch. Extremely clean and they maintained our rooms every time we left it. The staff were incredible supporting with all our activities we did and the planning our breakfast in the morning before our morning expeditions. Everyone there made the experience just so much better and eventful. Y’all did very well. Good job people.

Superbe hôtel au cœur de la nature avec une magnifique vue sur l’océan. Les chambres sont très intimistes, le lit très confortable, nous avons très bien dormis. Le restaurant est délicieux avec un personnel au petit soin. Mention spéciale pour le spa, quelle expérience de se faire chouchouter en pleine nature avec comme fond sonore les oiseaux et la rivière avoisinante.

The staff the pool...the vibes...amazing! My favorite part was me massage and the private hike to a waterfall! I am a solo traveler and it is a paradise for both couples and people who want a quiet relaxing oasis alone! 10/10

We enormously enjoyed our stay at Oxygen Villas. The staff was wonderful, the rooms and view of the Pacific were spectacular, and the food and drinks were delicious. We especially enjoyed walking the trails and enjoying the natural pools and waterfalls on the property. One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever experienced.

Das Zimmer war super. Wir hatten die Suite, welche gleich über dem Restaurant mit super Sicht aufs Meer war. Die Bar und Barkeeper waren großartig. Der Willkommensdrink super lecker. Auch den Mittagssnack, welche wir dort hatten, hat phantastisch geschmeckt. Das Abendessen war hervorragend. Wir haben hier während unserer Costa Rica-Reise das beste Essen (Fisch) gehabt. Danke an die Küche😊👍 Generell ist das Personal toll. Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht dort, was wir sehr bedauert haben. Alles in allem ist diese Unterkunft nur zu empfehlen!

Breathtaking place to stay. The view was beyond my expectations. The service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. We had a few meals there and they were all great! The pool was so nice, drinks were good. The villa itself was wonderful, so much privacy even in a glass house. The on-site hike it nice, the waterfall massage is a must! The beach is a short drive. You do need a 4x4 the drive is steep, but totally doable. Waking up there every morning was so relaxing, the sunrise, sounds of birds, Tuscans playing, all around it was perfect.

Wonderful place to chill. Just hanging out in the villa with views like the patio seating or hammock…the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the jungle and ocean…the restaurant is great food and cocktails. We ate dinner there all 4 nights and went into town for lunch and beach a couple of the days. We got a couples massage at their spa which is so peaceful by the waterfall. I did suggest that they offer daily yoga as the website is misleading and it looks like they do but you have to book a private session for $70. Including yoga would be a great way to enhance the stay and allow guests to meet each other. There are no activities included so you’re on your own to enjoy the grounds. It’s all couples since it’s adult only and everyone kept to themselves - it was so peaceful and serene. We would definitely go back! We saw toucans and monkeys from our villa and pool!

From the moment you stay into the hotel you feel like you’re in Costa Rica. They welcome you with a special welcome drink. The staff is incredible and local. The food was really great. The rooms were as expected and clean. The massage was nice. The only thing I would say is i wish we could hear the waterfall from our room and there’s a bit more privacy between each villa.

The only reasons why I haven’t rated this 5 stars is I think the food is very expensive for Costa Rica (and was not the best food we had on our trip - dinner for two was $100 for a shared starter and dessert and a main each, no drinks) and the breakfast is lacking. On our first morning we ordered a smoothie bowl and paid for this in addition as we would have still been hungry otherwise. I would avoid villa 1, we had a sewage smell (which they did look into) and it’s very close to the pool/staff area. We could hear them early which didn’t bother us as we were up early anyway but if you want to lay in, I’d request a different villa.

Superbe hôtel au cœur de la nature avec une magnifique vue sur l’océan. Les chambres sont très intimistes, le lit très confortable, nous avons très bien dormis. Le restaurant est délicieux avec un personnel au petit soin. Mention spéciale pour le spa, quelle expérience de se faire chouchouter en pleine nature avec comme fond sonore les oiseaux et la rivière avoisinante.

We enormously enjoyed our stay at Oxygen Villas. The staff was wonderful, the rooms and view of the Pacific were spectacular, and the food and drinks were delicious. We especially enjoyed walking the trails and enjoying the natural pools and waterfalls on the property. One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever experienced.

Das Zimmer war super. Wir hatten die Suite, welche gleich über dem Restaurant mit super Sicht aufs Meer war. Die Bar und Barkeeper waren großartig. Der Willkommensdrink super lecker. Auch den Mittagssnack, welche wir dort hatten, hat phantastisch geschmeckt. Das Abendessen war hervorragend. Wir haben hier während unserer Costa Rica-Reise das beste Essen (Fisch) gehabt. Danke an die Küche😊👍 Generell ist das Personal toll. Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht dort, was wir sehr bedauert haben. Alles in allem ist diese Unterkunft nur zu empfehlen!

Breathtaking place to stay. The view was beyond my expectations. The service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. We had a few meals there and they were all great! The pool was so nice, drinks were good. The villa itself was wonderful, so much privacy even in a glass house. The on-site hike it nice, the waterfall massage is a must! The beach is a short drive. You do need a 4x4 the drive is steep, but totally doable. Waking up there every morning was so relaxing, the sunrise, sounds of birds, Tuscans playing, all around it was perfect.

This place is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a true luxury experience, definitely give Oxygen a try. Awesome place the staff after a few days started to feel like family. The views that we had there were excellent. The food was very good, the pool and the villas are top notch. Extremely clean and they maintained our rooms every time we left it. The staff were incredible supporting with all our activities we did and the planning our breakfast in the morning before our morning expeditions. Everyone there made the experience just so much better and eventful. Y’all did very well. Good job people.

Beautiful views from the pool/bar/dining area. The staff was amazing - probably the most memorable part of our stay. So professional yet friendly. The ride up the mountain to the property is a very bumpy 10-15 minute trip each way, but wasn't as bad as we expected based on other reviews. It was dry season, but one day there were torrential rains and didn't really seem to make the road any worse. Overall, if you're looking to stay near this area, Oxygen Jungle is a good choice.

Für die Fahrt zum Resort empfiehlt sich ein 4x4. Einziger Nachteil waren ein paar Stromausfälle, einer davon ging etwas länger ohne Generator. Ansonsten war es ein klasse Aufenthalt!

Un bon séjour dans cet hôtel 4*, malgré tout un peu cher pour les prestations proposées. Les « plus » : la cadre (en pleine forêt tropicale, piscine, bar et restaurant avec vue splendide sur l’océan), le service, le bar (superbes cocktails), le spa (expérience unique en bord de rivière dans la forêt !). Les « moins » : route non goudronnée et très cabossée pour y accéder (SUV vraiment requis, et 10 minutes pour rejoindre la route principale !), les villas pas très bien agencées et à rafraîchir ! (du moisi et de la rouille dans la douche, très peu de rangements, rideaux défraîchis…), le bruit des cuisines du restaurant et du bar qui sont un peu trop présents lorsque l’on est dans les villas 1 et 2 (deluxe, vue océan), le restaurant un peu cher (compter minimum 70$ à deux pour un repas 1 plat avec boisson).

Wonderful place to chill. Just hanging out in the villa with views like the patio seating or hammock…the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the jungle and ocean…the restaurant is great food and cocktails. We ate dinner there all 4 nights and went into town for lunch and beach a couple of the days. We got a couples massage at their spa which is so peaceful by the waterfall. I did suggest that they offer daily yoga as the website is misleading and it looks like they do but you have to book a private session for $70. Including yoga would be a great way to enhance the stay and allow guests to meet each other. There are no activities included so you’re on your own to enjoy the grounds. It’s all couples since it’s adult only and everyone kept to themselves - it was so peaceful and serene. We would definitely go back! We saw toucans and monkeys from our villa and pool!

Just hanging out in the villa with views like the patio seating or hammock…the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the jungle and ocean…the restaurant is great food and cocktails. We ate dinner there all 4 nights and went into town for lunch and beach a couple of the days. We got a couples massage at their spa which is so peaceful by the waterfall. I did suggest that they offer daily yoga as the website is misleading and it looks like they do but you have to book a private session for $70. Including yoga would be a great way to enhance the stay and allow guests to meet each other. There are no activities included so you’re on your own to enjoy the grounds. It’s all couples since it’s adult only and everyone kept to themselves - it was so peaceful and serene. We would definitely go back! We saw toucans and monkeys from our villa and pool!
