If you like a quiet place with friendly staff, this is a good place to stay. And all of the equipment in the gym worked, like treadmills, which can’t be said of all hotels. The only issue I experienced was that the Wi-Fi would cut in and out, it just didn’t seem strong enough, which made working on my laptop more time consuming.

When we arrived the staff person told us the elevator had been having problems and the room awaiting us on an upper floor may not be best at that time. She gave us an upgraded room on the first floor and applied a partial credit for our "inconvenience". I'll gladly stay there again.

Front check in staff wasn’t friendly. The room smelled like smoke. The comforter was filthy. Hard to rest when it feels like you are sleeping in filth. I don’t think we had fresh linen on our beds.

Our key was only programmed for 1 night so we had to go back downstairs on the elevator that took FOREVER (I have RA so stairs are a no go) . She said it was fixed but we had to go back down and get a new one. Looked under the bed this morning to make sure we didnt forget anything and there was a water bottle.... we don't use water bottles, we have reusable so it was from at least the people before we got there, if not longer.

Disappointing. I chose this over cheeper options nearby because I've usually had good experiences at Microtels. Our room was generally acceptable except the following: the carpet had too many gross stains, the stool evidently ran all night and then wouldn't flush initially this morning (I took off the back and got it to work), there was a house centipede in the bathroom sink, and there was an old chunk of caulk laying on the edge of the shower. I shared these issues with the woman at checkout and she was minimally apologetic. On the positive side, the women at check-in was super friendly and the breakfast was especially good for what it was.

The thermostat definitely isn’t accurate. I had to set it all the way down to 66 to be comfortable and I am normally a 72 degree person.

Didnt get the room I asked for head to go to a different room TV and Internet did not work Then had to go to 2 nd floor husband head a difficult time with stairs/ prostrate cancer patient. Very un happy as room was not not what we requested when booked.

The bathroom floor was not cleaned, and there were issues with people in the room next-door that were, loud slamming drawers. trying to open the connecting door. we had to go to the front desk at 1:45 in the morning to request another room. we weren’t upgraded to a suite, but had difficulty falling back to sleep since we had to be up at 6 AM in the morning will never stay there again

No one at front counter for check-in. Waited at counter for an extended time. One of the counter workers (I did not know it at the time) walked past me and did not even say hello or tell me someone would be there soon. Picked this place due to it having a breakfast bar. It was less than adequate. It would be more appropriate for them to say there is some miscellaneous items available, but dont expect much or any quality. We just walked out and went to a diner down the street. The rooms themselves are very small and poorly laid out. The tv is affixed to the wall and not even centered or even in front of the foot of the bed.

Upon arrival no one at the desk for over 20 minutes with a sign that said be back soon. Upon check out asked for a late check out not only was it refused she insisted we check out an hour before the check out time posted on the wall. Then was incredibly rude when I asked why we had to check out earlier then the normal checkout time. Breakfast was a bunch of empty trays. NO idea why this was rated good, it is a very poorly run hotel.

Amber was so helpful! We did have to move rooms because we got one with a wet carpet from it being recently cleaned but Amber upgraded us and moved us to a new room quickly.

We were very pleased when we were greeted by Jessica. She was very friendly & seemed to really enjoy helping her guests. We feel that she went over & above her customer service interaction. We asked her if she knew where we could eat that was close because we were both tired & hungry. She recommended an Italian restaurant about 1 minute from the property & it was a good choice because the food was excellent! After eating we went back to our clean room to relax & get a shower. We were able to get a good nights rest in the comfortable bed. We had an excellent buffet breakfast before getting back in the road. The staff at this hotel should be a model for all hotels!

Front desk was so friendly! There’s some dated aspects to the hotel, but it’s clean and in a safe location. It’s quiet and comfortable. Super happy!

Front desk was so friendly! There’s some dated aspects to the hotel, but it’s clean and in a safe location. It’s quiet and comfortable. Super happy!

High on a hill overlooking town below, along with a cluster of other Wyndham-branded hotels. Far removed from noise and congestion but somewhat confusing to find. Good breakfast, great for an overnight stop on a long road trip with my elderly mother. Will stay here again.

Location, location, location. Great location away from the highway yet easily accessible. Plenty of eating opportunities beyond fast food, burgers n pizzas! Visually VERY pleasing entry & lobby.

This was the cleanest place we have stayed at for a long time. You could tell the staff took pride in their work. Great location for shopping and food. Only 5 min drive to wheeling Island.

It's a nice hotel on top of a ridge. Nice view. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and modern, and it was quiet. Some good restaurants nearby as well. Convenient and right off the highway.

We were given a room on 3rd floor. Strange smell in the elevator, corridor and room. Stains on carpet in multiple places. We called in front desk and they gave us a different room on 3rd floor. Still the same issue with the carpet stains in multiple places and weird smell. Beds and pillows not comfortable at all. Very small sample shampoo and conditioner were provided. Not enough at all for a family of 4. Tiles in bathroom seem broken. Can feel them wiggle. Morning breakfast was very bad. Stale food and not many options. I would not agree with the rating provided. I would give it a 4/10. Will never choose Microtel in future.

Very clean, nice beds. Decent breakfast. Attentive staff right from front desk to breakfast/kitchen assistants and Janitorial services. Would consider staying again if traveling through route 70.

Still a great value. Have stayed here 5 times recently. Mostly drillers with local oil and gas wells. They are very quiet. Good breakfast. Only slight is the coffee system. The taste of the on demand system is poor; there are other similar systems with better taste

Loved the included breakfast - it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at hotels. They had eggs, cereal, etc - juices and chocolate milk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Upon arrival no one at the desk for over 20 minutes with a sign that said be back soon. Upon check out asked for a late check out not only was it refused she insisted we check out an hour before the check out time posted on the wall. Then was incredibly rude when I asked why we had to check out earlier then the normal checkout time. Breakfast was a bunch of empty trays. NO idea why this was rated good, it is a very poorly run hotel.

Dead bugs in room and a very large live spider. Breakfast was dried up. If you didnt eat at 6am the food was bad. Not much to choose from by 9am.

Worst night ever; no sleep, loud AC unit, toilet didn’t want to flush. Microtel has definitely gone down in quality. Yes, this location is under construction. That wasn’t the problem. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. We got 1 king bed (with queen size sheets that kept pulling off all night and with severely edges broken down) and 1 double roll away bed with only sheets and a single blanket. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The toilet sat very low to the floor and no towel ranks. Across from the toilet was a small shelving unit with 2 shelves. Below the bottom shelf was 3 pegs about 30 inches above the floor. If you hung a hand towel on these pegs, it would still touch the floor. Just below these pegs was the toilet paper holder with the thinnest TP that was ever made. The wet towel hung in the peg would have completely soaked the TP. This bathroom was designed for children; not adults.
