The bed was too high to get in and out. The sheets only covered me to my waist. There were no cups in the room. I wish there was another chair besides the office chair. There was no clock. Lastly, there was no elevator. But, the room was extremely clean and well kept up. We had a very nice television and the air-conditioner worked very well. The people were very nice and informative to us. We enjoyed our stay minus the problems we had with the beds.

When I got there, despite the normal, 1 PM checkout time they tried to charge me $35 to get in the room before 3 o’clock. The room was already clean. They demanded a $50 cash deposit. When I left, they tried to tell me that I broke the television and refused to return the deposit. The entire property was in the middle of renovation and the television was not even attached. It was laying flat on the dresser. And when I demanded the return of the money, they threatened to call the police.

I stayed at this super 8 for 2 separate nights within weeks time. I was travelling with my family and found this place was safe and worth price. Staff is very nice and welcomed us. Their breakfast was included in price and was decent to start day. No lift/elevator is only con. Sams club/walmart and other stores/food restaurants are nearby. Will definitely recommend and stay here if I visit area in future.

The building is spotless and smelled of cleaning products. Comfy beds. This was the perfect crash pad find when traveling through bad weather lead to an unplanned stop. Free breakfast was bagel/toast/cereal, and they had a little marketplace pantry where you could buy other things, but the breakfast offering was what you’d eat at home when you’re trying to get out the door, so it was sufficient to get the job done. I will definitely remember this spot for the next time I need a budget-friendly place to stay on this route.

Very good value! The room was clean, and had all the standard amenities. All the fixtures worked, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure, bed was comfortable, room was dark at night and quiet, breakfast was good. Passing through the area, I'd gladly choose this Super 8 again!

The room and the bathroom were very clean and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast could have been a little bit better, maybe throw in some yogurt or some fruit.Instead of just all starches. The air conditioning kept the room at a consistent temperature that we were comfortable with.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but the TV was not working at all (did not even turn on). The furniture seemed to be bolted to the wall so I couldn't move things out to get to the outlet so was without TV. One of the beds smelled like smoke even though it was a no smoking room. A lot of sketchy people also staying at this place, blasting rap music and bass out in the parking lot. If you have the money, spend just a little more to stay at a better property.

Great price for this hotel! Staff was friendly with easy check in and check out. Breakfast was basic but still good from 6-9. Everything was unplugged when we got to our room but once plugged in eveybit one lamp worked. There was a different smell to the room but it could have been the cleaning products used. Overall pretty good stay for the weekend.

The front desk was very accommodating and provided extra blankets. They honored a deal from other site and the rooms was spacious. The AC worked well. Beds were comfortable and the shower was strong with massage modes. Checkout was a breeze. Would stay again

Worst nights stay I've had at a hotel in 20 years. Tried to make me pay extra to check in early after agreeing to allow us and not mentioning a fee the day before. Room smelled, floor was damp, ceiling light didn't work, lamps flickered, beds noisy and uncomfortable, manager is a jerk. Just stay away unless every other place around is booked and you have nobody you can stay with in the area.

Nice location, easily accessible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Only complaint was the AC/heater was very dirty and kept shutting off. Switched rooms, but heat was inadequate. It was a wall unit and blew cold air and then cycled to warm. Had to turn it up in the 80's to keep the room warm. Probably need the units cleaned and serviced, other than that it was a comfortable stay. Probably would not return though.

Odd smell and layout of first floor, bedding was not very comfortable, otherwise good. Good prices in their small food market. Very hard to understand any of the employees. Your experience may differ on that. This room is what you expect for this price range and it met it.

Not the most luxurious Wyndham I've stayed at; but it was worth $60.00 for a comfortable bed and hot shower. The room smelled like sweaty socks and just "felt" old and dated. The biscuits were so hard you couldn't eat them; but bagels and coffee were sufficient for me. The Staff were very courteous and accommodating! And it was nice to be able to get a reasonable room at the last minute. There are plenty of places to shop and eat in the area, as the Ohio Valley Mall and Plaza are right there.

The location was convenient, but the were clean but there was an off putting smell in the room and had to lay on floor to get to outlet to plug in the TV so it could work.

I stayed at this super 8 for 2 separate nights within weeks time. I was travelling with my family and found this place was safe and worth price. Staff is very nice and welcomed us. Their breakfast was included in price and was decent to start day. No lift/elevator is only con. Sams club/walmart and other stores/food restaurants are nearby. Will definitely recommend and stay here if I visit area in future.

The property is convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Its close to Wheeling Island. The property seems fairly clean. The big negative was that someone was making fish and the smell was inundating the entire motel.

Nice location, easily accessible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Only complaint was the AC/heater was very dirty and kept shutting off. Switched rooms, but heat was inadequate. It was a wall unit and blew cold air and then cycled to warm. Had to turn it up in the 80's to keep the room warm. Probably need the units cleaned and serviced, other than that it was a comfortable stay. Probably would not return though.

Easy check in, I got the same room as my last stay. Simple, clean, easy access to the highway. Breakfast is included with a variety of options, cereal hot & cold / bagels - toast / biscuits and gravy. Coffee tea and juices. It's a great deal for the $50 rate.

Not the most luxurious Wyndham I've stayed at; but it was worth $60.00 for a comfortable bed and hot shower. The room smelled like sweaty socks and just "felt" old and dated. The biscuits were so hard you couldn't eat them; but bagels and coffee were sufficient for me. The Staff were very courteous and accommodating! And it was nice to be able to get a reasonable room at the last minute. There are plenty of places to shop and eat in the area, as the Ohio Valley Mall and Plaza are right there.

The building is spotless and smelled of cleaning products. Comfy beds. This was the perfect crash pad find when traveling through bad weather lead to an unplanned stop. Free breakfast was bagel/toast/cereal, and they had a little marketplace pantry where you could buy other things, but the breakfast offering was what you’d eat at home when you’re trying to get out the door, so it was sufficient to get the job done. I will definitely remember this spot for the next time I need a budget-friendly place to stay on this route.

Great price for this hotel! Staff was friendly with easy check in and check out. Breakfast was basic but still good from 6-9. Everything was unplugged when we got to our room but once plugged in eveybit one lamp worked. There was a different smell to the room but it could have been the cleaning products used. Overall pretty good stay for the weekend.

Very good value! The room was clean, and had all the standard amenities. All the fixtures worked, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure, bed was comfortable, room was dark at night and quiet, breakfast was good. Passing through the area, I'd gladly choose this Super 8 again!

The room and the bathroom were very clean and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast could have been a little bit better, maybe throw in some yogurt or some fruit.Instead of just all starches. The air conditioning kept the room at a consistent temperature that we were comfortable with.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the overall stay was disappointing. The room had an unpleasant odor, the bed was uncomfortable, and the property was noticeably dated. There was also no hot water during my stay, which was a major issue. I was also surprised to receive an email asking what time I planned to check out, as that was something I had never experienced at a hotel before. While the affordable price was a positive, the overall condition and lack of basic amenities made this a stay I would not repeat.

Very friendly and very helpful. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 night we loved our stay very quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful we stayed in room 119. The safe made sure we was taken care of. Was very friendly and talked to use about the weather and had good service. We will stay again when we come back down this way.

So this took some time to process. I normally stay in most Wyndham hotels for my trips and have never had any issues. Well this past weekend took the cake. I was traveling with 1 other adult and two teens. Upon arriving around 820 pm the front desk was empty. I rang a bell and waited. I could see all the security cameras from the desk so I did see someone coming so that’s a positive. There was a baby stroller in the lobby and you could also see a bouncer chair in the office doorway behind the front seat so u assumed the front desk person mite have been busy with a child. Front desk showed up and gave room keys no problem. Once walking into the floor to get to the room the smell of old beer hit you in the face so that was gross. The room was ok. Dirty but ok for the price I paid. We found a smashed bug in the bathroom so we kept everything sealed. The furniture was unkept and looked bad ( I have pictures) and the fridge was dirty. We only slept here so told the kids think of it like camping. Breakfast was a joke it was literally bread in a case with milk coffee or juice. I rechecked the pictures on hotels.com and the breakfast definitely showed a cereal dispenser, that definitely was none existent. So to wrap this up if you need somewhere to sleep for relatively cheep ( I paid 120 something for 2 nights) and are not afraid of dirt this is an option.

Good location, great room. The young man who checked me in and the older gentleman with him were very helpful. I stay in St Clairsville a lot for various events in Wheeling and the surrounding the area and will likely stay here again instead of where I usually stay. Very nice place, good location--by the Ohio Valley Mall and plenty of places to eat.
