Our stay at this property was very disappointing. The pool looks very nice but in reality it’s not a relaxing area at all, poorly managed by staff, sun beds are always busy so unless you get up very early to get a space you just won’t be able to find a sunbed! Staff only assist when you ask them to, otherwise they are not very approachable or attentive to your needs. For a 5 star resort this stay was a a complete let down, there are definitely other nicer properties in the area. Breakfast was mediocre, whilst plenty of choice the quality of food was poor, no tea or coffee offered unless you ask, long waiting times even for a hot drink at breakfast. Check in was also very long and they make you wait around while staff just chit chat. Overall, poor show for Sofitel, have stayed at better.

Sehr schöne und saubere Anlage mit großem Pool und großem Strandabschnitt. Es gab immer freie Liegen. Das Frühstück ist sehr international bei dem jeder etwas findet. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders die Damen aus dem Club Millesime, welchen wir dazugebucht hatten und auch eine Empfehlung ist. Hier erhält man, jedoch nur in einem separaten Bereich, tagsüber alkoholfreie Getränke sowie kleinen süßen Snacks. Abends gibt es dort auch Happy Hour mit alkoholischen Getränken und warmen Snacks. Da es jedoch kein All Inclusive als Option gibt, muss man nahezu für alles extra bezahlen (vom Yoga-Kurs, über das Kinderprogramm, Fahrräder, bis hin zum abendlichen Dinner), was auch sehr präsent an allen Ecken und Enden beworben wird. Die Preise sind auf europäischem Niveau, eher etwas darüber. Das Ressort ist jedoch auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

A fantastic family friendly hotel, quiet and clean, has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Food is great, you can dine at the private beach too. The pool is massive and has a lot of sofa benches for you to relax. The hotel even has a departure lounge so that you can rest and wait for your flight after checking out.

Staff were friendly and professional. Beach was accessible and nice. Pool was amazing and scenic. Tried a variety of restaurants and food & beverages were good - I would recommend the Sunday brunch at Cucina and BBQ at Toya (Mon & Fri). Free shuttle service to Bali collection.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this beach hotel. While the staff were genuinely kind and the rooms, though small, were clean and comfortable, there are some major downsides. First, it’s a constant struggle to find any shade by the pool — the hotel simply hasn’t provided enough shaded areas, loungers with umbrellas, or trees. On the beach, it’s even worse. The hotel next door had the foresight to plant trees along the beach, creating natural shade, but this hotel didn’t bother. You’re left exposed under the harsh sun unless you bring your own shade (which isn’t practical). Another disappointment was the drinking water policy: they only provide four small bottles of water per day, which is definitely not enough for two adults, especially when you’re under the hot sun all day. For a beach resort, this feels pretty stingy. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the lack of basic comforts like shade and sufficient water made it a frustrating experience.

Beautiful, luxurious, walk from the beach, water activities are easily available. There’s also a pool and a lot of activities for kids. The breakfast was an amazing buffet, so many options. It’s a pretty busy hotel though if you are looking for more privacy.

Beautiful resort with friendly and attentive staff. The one bedroom villa was a little sanctuary, and the high tea and cocktail happy hour at Club Millésime was a welcome inclusion. The spa ambience was lovely and we had a very relaxing massage.The gym facilities were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the walk along the picturesque beach to the blowhole and Bali Collection. Would absolutely love to visit again.

We had an excellent stay at Sofitel. Our room was amazing, beachfront and close to everything. Food was good, breakfast needs improving a little, plenty of selection but we found we struggled with what to eat. Cucina's was amazing highly recommend the beef cheek. The beach club was great, the swim up bar pool at the back was beautiful and cool on a hot day. We didn't like the main sofitel pool, seemed dirty and water was murky. Pool bar could use a new cocktail menu using ACTUAL fruit and not just syrup - that was disappointing for a Sofitel. Kids club was... ok, a tad boring for older kids. All in all, we had a great stay. Just a few little things need improving to make it a 10/10.

We had an amazing 2 weeks at this hotel we had a fabulous time the hotel is beautiful and staff are all amazing and can’t do enough for you , rooms very comfortable and clean pools and all restraunts are lovely . Very relaxing and will definitely go back again .

It's a large complex with 413 rooms. I think the hotel would be more suited for an all-inclusive as it has that feel about it. The restaurants are overpriced. The rooms are okay but a little worn in places (ie, around the faucets). There was only one USB port in the room (which was broken) and as the hotel is 10 years old, I would recommend a refurb in the next few years. The room also needs a full length mirror in the right place and not in the closet! Although the breakfast buffet had a good selection, the food was lukewarm/cold. I was refused a beach towels I was informed that the beach didn't 'open' until 10:00!

We had a pool villa. It was beautiful, private, charming and the room was amazing The staff are welcoming. Always had a smile, and nothing was a bother We also had access to the executive lounge. The best I have ever had!

We had a privaye pool room, which was great. The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable, maybe needed a new mattress. I would have loved to have 2 sinks. Bathroom was huge so there was plenty of space. Breakfast buffet was very good. Some pool tiles/blocks could use some repair. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful resort with friendly and attentive staff. The one bedroom villa was a little sanctuary, and the high tea and cocktail happy hour at Club Millésime was a welcome inclusion. The spa ambience was lovely and we had a very relaxing massage.The gym facilities were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the walk along the picturesque beach to the blowhole and Bali Collection. Would absolutely love to visit again.

Stayed for 7 nights in prestige suite with our two kids. The suite was excellent, so much room for the kids, and that was with two rollaways. Service excellent everywhere, the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially when my son fell sick. Breakfast was very average. We had club access which was average ( although alcoholic drink selection excellent). Kids couldn’t access lounge in evening but were served food in kids club ( mainly sweets). Kids club was ok, lots of space but a bit run down - esp. hole in trampoline! Our suite was facing the beach. Beautiful view, but soooo noisy on three nights with weddings outside until 10pm. We wouldn’t stay again due to food being average and too noisy. Also lots of missing tiles in kids swimming pool resulting in cuts

Our stay at this property was very disappointing. The pool looks very nice but in reality it’s not a relaxing area at all, poorly managed by staff, sun beds are always busy so unless you get up very early to get a space you just won’t be able to find a sunbed! Staff only assist when you ask them to, otherwise they are not very approachable or attentive to your needs. For a 5 star resort this stay was a a complete let down, there are definitely other nicer properties in the area. Breakfast was mediocre, whilst plenty of choice the quality of food was poor, no tea or coffee offered unless you ask, long waiting times even for a hot drink at breakfast. Check in was also very long and they make you wait around while staff just chit chat. Overall, poor show for Sofitel, have stayed at better.

Absolutely excellent service from every staff member we met. Warm and friendly second to none. Amazing pool area and nice warm pool just didnt want to leave it. Pool access room was awesome and loved the attention to detail even with a mosquitoe management system for the outside plant area. Food also excellent. We definitely plan to return. Nice nearby area called Bali collection for shops and more restaurants a few mins cab ride away if you want to eat out too.

Service was very slow and terrible. Staffs are not competent. It seems that they are lack of staffs. Check in and check out very2 slow, we have to wait for half an hour until somebody asssted you. Check out time is very unflexible and the staff rudely told us to check out of the room eventhough we're still having breakfast. And we were told that we couldn't extebd eventhough we want to pay, and when we checked on their website they still have some rooms availabilities This sofitel is really dissapointing and doesnt reflect the image of sofitel woldwide. I think thye are ruining the image of sofitel

We enjoyed our stay here at the Sofitel Nusa Dua. The staff are lovely. The rooms are very clean. The buffet breakfast was fantastic.

so, when you arrive on gated area where there are 5 star hotels lined up, you expect to be impressed and this hotel made the impact straight away, we were greeted warmly and showed around the hotel whilst our room was being prepared (came around 11am and got our room at 12). The staff is amazing there, in the pool area, lobby, reception, spa, gym, kids club, all around, we couldn't ask for more on our trip. We will be back next year as the Nusa Due beach and Sofitel hotel made such a impact for us.

Seriously lacking from what we expecting from a Sofitel Hotel. In our experience we found front of house staff lacking guidance, nothing was explained about the hotel and facilities on arrival and we had to rely on other guests to inform us. Key staff more interested in playing on their mobile phones than helping or talking to guests. The hotel, location and pools are amazing with the pool staff, cleaners and gardeners all working meticulously, friendly and professional. Pity the front of house staff wernt the same. Certainly needs a shake up from what we experienced.

A group of 20 came here for my girlfriend 50th birthday and everything was AMAZING from the time we arrived (almost 8pm). When i say this place is BEAUTIFUL that would be an understatement. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The only thing is when doing tours and you want to grab a quick bite make sure it's not a $90 lobster :-). I tried the Luwak coffee and that would be a HARD PASS for me. Just staying around the resort is so serene and peaceful. The rooms and hotel are VERY CLEAN. The staff there are very polite attentive and will above and beyond to accommodate your needs. This was my first LONG distance flight and when i say i will gladly do it again to be at this resort i will. Sofitel Nusa Dua owes me NOTHING this was a lifetime experience. I definitely will be visiting in the near future. I LOVED THIS HOTEL Oh the beach is very clean not much seaweed but there is an issue with the water receding. If you get up for morning sunrise you will see what I'm referring to. But overall the trip was AMAZING WONDERFUL & WELL PLANNED AT SOFITEL NUSA DUA BALI.

Loved our stay at the Sofitel Nusa Dua, the team were welcoming and very friendly. Our room was ice cool and taken care of twice per day by the hotel team. We booked B&B, the breakfast was buffet stule with lots to choose from again coupled with very attentive service. We always managed to find places to rest at the couple of pools or the beach. The shuttle bus which is provided free is a great way to visit the Bali Collection, which has plenty of restaurants and shops to buy clothing and souvenirs. Great time and beautiful weather!

The Sofitel in Bali is a beautiful property with stunning rooms. Apparently they fully renovated during COVID, which really shows. The rooms look new which is a very pleasant experience. In addition the hotel is designed in a way that you feel like walking through your own perfect little world. It's the true resort experience, with a breakfast buffet that has honestly been the best in our lives. However, the area in general (Nusa Dua), is isolated and the beaches, although beautiful, don't really allow for much swimming in the sea. In fact, during low tide, the sea retreats beyond the reef, which was disappointing when we arrived and wanted to squeeze in a quick swim with our six year old. Also, probably obvious in hind sight, but everything within the resort costs an arm and a leg. That was a bit of a cold shower after enjoying the restaurants for pennies on the dollar in Ubud City. You could venture outside, but you'll require a taxi (costing you a sweet price as well) and you'll be stuck in the dreadful Bali traffic.

Beautiful, luxurious, walk from the beach, water activities are easily available. There’s also a pool and a lot of activities for kids. The breakfast was an amazing buffet, so many options. It’s a pretty busy hotel though if you are looking for more privacy.

We had an excellent stay at Sofitel. Our room was amazing, beachfront and close to everything. Food was good, breakfast needs improving a little, plenty of selection but we found we struggled with what to eat. Cucina's was amazing highly recommend the beef cheek. The beach club was great, the swim up bar pool at the back was beautiful and cool on a hot day. We didn't like the main sofitel pool, seemed dirty and water was murky. Pool bar could use a new cocktail menu using ACTUAL fruit and not just syrup - that was disappointing for a Sofitel. Kids club was... ok, a tad boring for older kids. All in all, we had a great stay. Just a few little things need improving to make it a 10/10.

I believe this is the best holiday we’ve ever had. It wasn’t one single thing, but a combination of everything that made the Sofitel Bali so amazing. The service was the best I’ve ever encountered anywhere in the world. Aaaand that is saying a lot. I want to remark Lydia the manager is amazing at her position. We also had a great experience with Noah. They really went above and beyond to make our time with them wonderful. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast. We stayed in the Villa and had club access. The breakfast at the club was good especially the almond croissants, but the buffet breakfast was life altering. We have arrived back in New York, and my family still talking about the noodle station. Sofitel’s pastry is better than in Paris. We also had a wonderful experience at the Manarai beach house during the day. It was a really entertaining experience and the food was yummy. The pool bar was also superb. I highly recommend the fresh coconut. We enjoyed massages on the beach which were very nice. I asked for extra pressure and my therapist did not disappoint. But what we enjoyed most was our villa. It was really nice to have the privacy of your own pool. Although, it is high season it didn’t feel over crowded. Always very personal attention by the entire staff. Tangkas at the bell service desk was genuinely kind and very helpful. It’s all the details that make this resort so very special.

We have arrived back in New York, and my family still talking about the noodle station. Sofitel’s pastry is better than in Paris. We also had a wonderful experience at the Manarai beach house during the day. It was a really entertaining experience and the food was yummy. The pool bar was also superb. I highly recommend the fresh coconut. We enjoyed massages on the beach which were very nice. I asked for extra pressure and my therapist did not disappoint. But what we enjoyed most was our villa. It was really nice to have the privacy of your own pool. Although, it is high season it didn’t feel over crowded. Always very personal attention by the entire staff. Tangkas at the bell service desk was genuinely kind and very helpful. It’s all the details that make this resort so very special.

The food was disappointing. The buffet breakfast was cold, although there was alot of options. We waited an 1 1/4 hours to get food poolside and had to ask several times where it was. The rooms above us sounded like elephants walking and chairs were constantly being dragged across the floor. The room was clean and night-time bed turn down was a nice touch. It was also nice that towels were provided pool side and at the beach. The staff were obliging

Breakfast was average comparing it to other resorts, service at breakfast was again average had to ask multiple times for simple things like water, napkins etc. they had run out of butter one morning. Other than that it’s a nice resort poolside service was great, dinners were also great.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. The Room and lounge experience was exceptional. My only gripe was with the beach restaurant being really expensive for what it provided and the Italian restaurant not being open for lunch.

Staff were friendly and professional. Beach was accessible and nice. Pool was amazing and scenic. Tried a variety of restaurants and food & beverages were good - I would recommend the Sunday brunch at Cucina and BBQ at Toya (Mon & Fri). Free shuttle service to Bali collection.

Totally amazing hotel. Staff all lovely and friendly. Pool is exceptional. Breakfast buffet exquisite. Drinks priced a little higher than other places but there is a little local warung selling cheap Bintang just north of the property 1 min walk away.

The major drawback for this hotel is shortage of sunbeds on the beach,for large hotel like this they are 80 percent short of sunbeds on the sand,so finding a sunbed in the morning was very hard,positive thing was unlimited free water on the beach,prices for food and drinks more expensive then neighbours.We spoke to management about sunbed situation promised to resolve it speaking to big boss.Another small issue the bed linen wasn’t up to scratch for 5 star hotel,otherwise everything was nice room,breakfast.
