Liked hotel, close to TRA. The room was spacious, However, there is only one hook with 3 hangers in the entire room. No shelfs or drawers to put/hang anything. Literally had to live out of my suitcase for the 4 days we stayed there. No hooks in bathroom either to hang clothes. The bathtub design is lacking that water will drip out to floor when showering. The use of free laundry machine was a bonus. Loved the location of hotel as it is very convenient for travelling on buses and train.

53 Hotel Service Staff at the reception counter was attentive to our needs and assisted us with our check in promptly and effectively. The double bed room was super spacious and very clean. We are very impressed with the free on site laundry which provided us convenience and save us money in washing/ drying our soiled laundry. The hotel is strategically located nearby the Taichung Train Station and there are nearby food eateries and shopping streets. Thank you for the genuine touch and excellent service. It is a nice hotel and just 3 minutes walk to Taichung train station. Staff was professional and helpful. The hotel provides free laundry service, gym and has a water dispenser at the lobby. The only thing l didn’t really like was the basin with a small water outlet. I do understand that it’s to prevent food being washed down the basin but it takes a while for water to go through the small outlet. Overall, a good stay while visiting Taichung.

타이중TRA역이랑 가까워 편리합니다. 호텔 바로 옆에 편의점이 있고 바로 앞이 궁원안과라서 편리합니다. 걸어서 10~20분이면 춘수당 버블팀 원조집, 심원춘, 타이중시장, 푸딘왕, 켜 등등 이용하실 수 있고 버스타고 30~40분이면 펑지아야시장 가실 수 있습니다. 무엇보다 호텔 옆에 꼭 청계천 같은 짦은 천이 있으니 구경해보세요. 호텔 컨디션도 나쁘지 않으며 지하 1층엔 무료세탁실, 작은 GYM이 있습니다. 대만 기차여행 중 이용하게 된 곳인데 다음에도 꼭 오고 싶을 만큼 편리하고 편한 호텔입니다.

Beautiful property just minutes from Taichung Railway station. Room was well furnished and staff were welcoming. They have a free laundry room for guests which is really handy. Right across from Miyahara for all your ice-cream and dessert needs. Plenty of food options within a walking distance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Check-in was smooth, and the room, especially with the two queen beds in the family room I booked, was excellent. Cleanliness was outstanding. The hotel offers a refill station and a practical self-service laundry facility. For the price, the location is great. Family mart and police station just next to the hotel. The famous Miyagi Ice-cream place is just 1min away. Room was on top floor, newly revamped but can improve a little on the design and usability. No wardrobe thus no iron, no bathrobe, only a simple coat hanger. very tight shower with no place to put your toiletries. toilet is good with electronic bidet but both cubicles are just smoked screened so privacy is a concern for non-couples. Table is on the floor with a big mat, and a single arm chair with leg rest at the corner. King size bed is huge. Doesn't provide extra pillows.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Refund Request Dear Expedia / 53 Hotel Name, On our second day, the air-conditioning in our room was not working. Despite our request for a room change, we were only provided with a fan. As the situation was unacceptable, we decided to check out early. When we asked for a refund, we were told we must go through Expedia, and the staff’s response was extremely rude. This experience left me very disappointed with both the hotel and Expedia’s service. Due to this incident, I will not consider using Expedia for my future bookings unless the matter is resolved promptly. I request a full refund for the unused nights of our stay. Kindly respond to this matter urgently.

Pros: Just about 200 meters to the Taichung train station, where you can easily travel to everywhere. Also within walking distance to numbers of tourist places in Taichung. Cons: The hotel is right next a major street. We can hear the traffic noises at nights. The buffet breakfast is not well prepared. Most of the hot foods are cold.
