Unsure if there are better hotels in Huacacina. Our room was clean but very basic. Small TV. Loud until 11 but after that it was very quiet. The tiki hut offered good food. Small pool but did the job. Our friend had a room that smelled old.

Good location, good facilities and they offered all the main tours you'd do in Huacachina at a very reasonable price. The food was also really good - their chilli sauce was some of the best I've had on my trip!

Excellent hostel. Room was large, very comfortable and clean, good temperature, great view over the hotel pool and the sand dunes. Hot and powerful shower with shampoo / shower gel. The pool is nice and refreshing, good size. The communal areas are great, with nice music suited to the time of day/evening, excellent atmosphere. Food was really good! Much to our surprise we managed to get great healthy food, with a variety of options including for gluten free. Also seen eco-friendly with an active effort to recycle, notices to try to keep showers short and to only ask for change of bedding if necessary. Also able to arrange tours for good value without the hassle of haggling with street vendors. Nothing bad to say about the place.

What a great spot to stay for a night or two and visit the dunes on their buggy/boarding experience (suggest the 2pm trip so you can see the sunset on the walk back down the dunes). As a couple in their thirties the private room was the perfect balance between hostel and hotel, we had a clean double room with private bath. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a cool temp pool to plunge in and a beach vibe. Security was good as well. Not for a couple or person looking for an upscale experience but if you want fun, clean and friendly in a awesome location this is a great choice!

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was pretty small but the adjoining bathroom was good with a large shower, hairdryer etc. Bunks all had curtains for privacy Nice beach bar vibe in the restaurant/bar area. Music was off by about 11pm so didn't disturb at all

Nice place and friendly staff. My one complaint is that they played loud music later into the evening. I thought at 10 pm the music would go off but they only turned it down a bit. It was still quite loud. We had an early morning out the door to catch a bus back to Lima so it was difficult to sleep. I’m not sure when the music finally turned off because I managed to fall asleep with the help of ear plugs. Otherwise the location was nice as was the property itself. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. We booked the sand buggy tour through them and that was a lot of fun too.

Absolutely incredible. Was very surprised. I got the bed with 2 bunk beds, so 4 people. Comfortable beds with courtain for privacy, good AC and amazing bathroom. In my opinion, the bed and the bathroom are both better than standards. Outside area is also amazing, food and drinks are pretty good and also, the bar/restaurant is has some of the best reviews in Huacachina, which is great. Related to that, the breakfast was good too. The hostel offers a back passage to the path to the main point of Huacachina, with access to basically everything. The roofttop is pretty nice, but it could be more useful hehe

The property was beautiful, clean, and the energy from all the guests and the staff was friendly and energetic. I would highly highly recommend this location! They have a lovely rooftop area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the dunes as well.

The bedroom was a good size, clean and pleasantly decorated. The shower was good. A comfortable bed although a little smaller than I’d like for two people. The place had a good vibe with a wide cross section of people, nationalities and ages. Our room faced on to the bar and pool area but the noise wasn’t too intrusive and has faded out by 11:00. The hotel was just off the centre of the town but within very easy access to everything. The prices were fair for the area. Overall a good experience that I would be happy to repeat.

Our stay at the Bananas Adventure Hostel was lots of fun!! This hostel has a great vibe to it. The staff at reception and the bartenders are all very helpful. The food was amazing!! The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside to the room was that our bathroom had a musty odour. But, all and all, I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Was pleasantly suprised with this Hostel. We had a private room with bathroom. The room was updated nicely, had AC, and the bed was nice. We had a view of the Oasis from our room. It was loud but during the day, when the bar/restaurant closed at 11pm the music turned off and was quiet (no need for earplugs even). Food was okay, breakfast wasent anything fancy but it was included. When we visited all the roads had been dug up so the area around the hostel wasent the easiest to walk around.

Banana's was an unexpected, it the good sense. Different that a local hotel in a Peruvian Oasis. All the check in process was good, the ambience super and drinks and food good. Rooms nice and comfortable, the lack of A/C can be felt during the day specially in a dessert area. But at the end was a pleasent stay, can be a repeat.

We had a great time at Bananas Adventure Hotel! It’s located right in front of the Oasis, and everything is within walking distance. The staff provided excellent customer service, and the food and drinks were delicious! The rooms were clean, though I do wish there were more outlets in the bathroom. Overall, we had an amazing stay!

Nice room and bed comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom, great view. Beautiful patio seatings and just a walk away from Huacachina lake and walk way. Fist day we walk up to the dunes and had a pleasant evening, they tell us we have to pay $3 soles to go up the dune, but we didn't we just took the other way for free. Great food and drinks around a bit expensive for Peruvian standard, but way cheaper if compare to US prices

This property treated us very well! The room size was good with a good enough view. The music stops at about 10pm which was nice as well. The food was surprisingly good and much better than nearby options. It’s the closest you can get to the desert part of Huacachina and I really liked the location. I would recommend this stay in Huacachina!

El lugar esta bueno, aunque hay cosas que no son lógicas, como que te quieran cobrar el agua caliente para el mate, o que e medio de la estadía, decidan que no quieren cobrarte mas con tarjeta los extras y solo quieran efectivo. No es un hotel barato para el servicio que ofrecen. La atención del personal esta bien.
El lugar esta bueno, aunque hay cosas que no son lógicas, como que te quieran cobrar el agua caliente para el mate, o que e medio de la estadía, decidan que no quieren cobrarte mas con tarjeta los extras y solo quieran efectivo. No es un hotel barato para el servicio que ofrecen. La atención del personal esta bien.

Servicio del personal es bueno, pero no ayuda con el equipaje o ofrecen ayuda para nada por más cargado que te vean. Les pedimos dos bolsas de basura, nos dieron una y en las habitaciones solo hay dos toallas para bañarse , no hay toallas para la cara ni manos, por último la habitación solo tiene hábitos no tienen aire acondicionado. Agradecemos el agua caliente.

Nice place and friendly staff. My one complaint is that they played loud music later into the evening. I thought at 10 pm the music would go off but they only turned it down a bit. It was still quite loud. We had an early morning out the door to catch a bus back to Lima so it was difficult to sleep. I’m not sure when the music finally turned off because I managed to fall asleep with the help of ear plugs. Otherwise the location was nice as was the property itself. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. We booked the sand buggy tour through them and that was a lot of fun too.

The property was beautiful, clean, and the energy from all the guests and the staff was friendly and energetic. I would highly highly recommend this location! They have a lovely rooftop area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the dunes as well.

Fui con una amiga por una noche. El restaurante está abierto hasta las 11pm lo cual es perfecto si piensas tener un tour hasta tarde y no tener que pagar por un taxi al mall o otro restaurante. La Huacachina es pequeña así que llegas fácil a todo (10 min por carro a Ica) y Justo fuera de la propiedad está el oasis para disfrutar de noche.

This property treated us very well! The room size was good with a good enough view. The music stops at about 10pm which was nice as well. The food was surprisingly good and much better than nearby options. It’s the closest you can get to the desert part of Huacachina and I really liked the location. I would recommend this stay in Huacachina!

Was pleasantly suprised with this Hostel. We had a private room with bathroom. The room was updated nicely, had AC, and the bed was nice. We had a view of the Oasis from our room. It was loud but during the day, when the bar/restaurant closed at 11pm the music turned off and was quiet (no need for earplugs even). Food was okay, breakfast wasent anything fancy but it was included. When we visited all the roads had been dug up so the area around the hostel wasent the easiest to walk around.

We had a great time at Bananas Adventure Hotel! It’s located right in front of the Oasis, and everything is within walking distance. The staff provided excellent customer service, and the food and drinks were delicious! The rooms were clean, though I do wish there were more outlets in the bathroom. Overall, we had an amazing stay!

Absolutely incredible. Was very surprised. I got the bed with 2 bunk beds, so 4 people. Comfortable beds with courtain for privacy, good AC and amazing bathroom. In my opinion, the bed and the bathroom are both better than standards. Outside area is also amazing, food and drinks are pretty good and also, the bar/restaurant is has some of the best reviews in Huacachina, which is great. Related to that, the breakfast was good too. The hostel offers a back passage to the path to the main point of Huacachina, with access to basically everything. The roofttop is pretty nice, but it could be more useful hehe

Hostel bom. Peguei o melhor quarto com banheiro privativo. Cama razoavel com apenas 2 travesseiros e colchao medio. Chuveiro nao muito bom. Cafe ds manha ruim. Ou vc tem direito a frutas ou a ovos. Tive melhor valor pelo dinheiro em Lima.

Room was good, bathroom in room really good. Just our bedroom door needed some maintenance so it was loud everytime someone went in or out. Brekky deffo the best is had during this trip! Great selection. Staff all lovely, great location, right near the entrance to the dunes. Nice restaurant, good food. Music ends earlier than other hostels if you want sleep.

Considering it is in an oasis, surrounded by 600 ft of sand on all sides, its a great place Staff was friendly and generous, large rooms, convenient breakfast, wifi worked all over the property. We will recommend to anyone heading in that direction.
