At 9 Motel Near Freehold I-195

Responsive and accommodating owner. Clean facility. No ice maker.

Nice hotel room for a very reasonable price. Upgraded to the jacuzzi which was quite lovely.

The only reason they called it a "honeymoon suite" is that it had a hot tub.. which I don't think is a good enough reason; it was just a regular room with a hot tub. Also, it couldn't have been meant for a couple, because the in-room coffee maker had only one regular serving of coffee. Just didn't justify the price.

Room was clean thats about it. Very noisy as its right next to the highway. Front desk staff not helpful at all. Told us to go to the bar next across the street for ice and had to practically beg him for coffee pods. No coffee in room or lobby no ice machine. Had to unplug the tv to use the microwave. For $200 a night I expected more.

Affordable. Fairly clean except for the sleeper couch. Expedia should warn folks that the entire first floor is smoking. If a non smoker, you must take the second floor rooms with no elevator and only outside stairs. We were lucky to be offered the handicap room on floor one which is non smoking.

This little motel had updated ac, nice size bathroom with great hot water and an adjustable shower head, and a nice interior. Furniture is dated, pillows are flat, and bed was super firm but for the one night it was perfect. It’s on the highway but set back a bit. Noisy traffic in the morning but no noise from surrounding rooms. Non smoking rooms are upstairs so be prepared to climb. No elevator. Friendly staff. Easy check in and check out.

Our non-smoking room was musty and smelled of cigarretts. Carpet felt dirty. Broken down exterior stairway to second floor rooms. Unfriendly offuce staff. Yuch. Dont stay here.

I had to fly inro the area for the funeral of a close family member. We did not want to burden the family with additional people in the home so i searched for tWe arrived late (after midnight) and Kumar was able to get us checked in after we rang the bell. I had also called in advance to let them know we would be there late, and spoke to Kumar about the check in procedure for after hours. We walked up a flight of stairs that has seen better days to another smaller flight of stairs and entered the room. The smell immediately hit us. It smelled mildewy and in need of a deep cleaning. The furniture was old but serviceable and about what you would expect from a motel. But the cleanliness was really an issue. There were stains on the sheets, hairs that did not belong to us, and what i hope was a marinara sauce stain on the underside of the comforter. The bathroom was old, and again, what you would expect from a motel, but it was seeviceable. What was NOT serviceable was the moldy, nasty shower curtain. The motel provided some packets of soap, shampoo and lotion. They werent great, but again, it was serviceable.

Pretty good location, check in office had strong for and rooms smelled a bit like old cigarettes Firm beds and sheets felt old

The hotel is next to the avenue . The cars does not let you sleep and tv in my room does not work at all

The room needs a facelift, but was clean. The traffic from Route 9 interfered with our sleep, as did noise from the room next door.

It was close to the highway so pretty noisy, but you get used to it fast.

Very noisy with car traffic so not for people who are light sleepers. Little worn around the edges but, you get what you pay for.

We were permitted to check in an hour early which was great because we had an event we needed to attend and gave us a little extra time to get ready. Super friendly staff.

The staff was very helpful, room very comfortable. Very close to restaurants, stores and St. Veronica's Parrish which I was visiting for the Bus Festival. Great experience and Shilesh gave me great directions. Will most definitely visit this motel Again.

Took 15 minutes each time in shower and jacuzzi for hot water reach room. When called and brought to office attention they were very short tempered and would not believe me. Just wanted a relaxing getaway and felt like our visit was a bother.

The outside of the property looks good, but the inside of my room did not look good. I had a "handicapped" room, even though I was not handicapped. There was one king bed in the room that didn\'t really fit. There was a dresser that you couldn\'t use because the bed was too close to it; you couldn\'t open the drawers. The room seem to have been used for storage, too. One example of this is that there were two large office chairs in the room. The person at the front desk was Indian, which, of course, did not bother me; but he was hard to understand. And the first thing he did was to tell me that I had made my reservation for the wrong dates--the day before the day I arrived and the next day--so I was completely confused. He said to "check your e-mail," which I did a couple of days later. I had not made my reservations for the wrong date, as I thought. He lied right off the bat. He ended up not charging me for having made my reservations for the wrong date, ultimately, but that was a terrible introduction to the motel. Luckily I didn\'t spend a lot of time in the room. And the first night I was there, I spent a lot of time wondering if I should leave and go somewhere else; but it was around 10pm. Also, on the second night that I was there, an employee knocked on my door and asked if it would be OK for them to shut the water off for a half hour or so, since there was a water problem of some kind in another room. He was nice, but that scared me at first.

Owner was helpful and everything went smooth. Definitely would stay here again!

Noisy road

was convenient for a next day function. Location right on route 9; can hear traffic noise from inside room. Happy they could accommendate on same day booking. Clean. Standar room. No alarm clock or phone.

For the price, the facilities are outdated and need quite a bit of upgrade. It is conveniently by Route 9, but that is about the extent of the benefit. The price is lower than other hotels in the area, but the savings is not worth the meager facilities available. No dining on site, no pool, noisy air conditioning, stuffy rooms.
