Was under renovations. An email or text to alert us that hot water was going to be shut off at 8am the next morning would have been appreciated. They did give us a 30% discount after we asked for one. The spa’s pump had also quit the day we arrived.

My room was spacious, had coffee machine, microwave , TV and a fridge . Parking was upfront of the suite for me, loved it, amenities like towels, bathing needs were provided, overall, I had a very good stay and will come back here again.

Check in staff was very helpful and courteous. New parking lot with wide spaces. Well lit and safe. I enjoyed the snacks in room and pod coffee maker with bottled water. Fridge and microwave were a plus. Very comfy bed and pillows. Fresh quality towels and maid service was top-notch! Instant hot water in bathroom and nice tiled shower with non slip tub. Golf channel was available as well as a large selection for tv. My new favorite inn in Santa Rosa. A+++ service. For a great breakfast go to Dierk's Parkside cafe just north of inn.

It was a great location, but the hotel itself was average. The room itself was comfortable, but there was a bucket by the toilet catching dripping water. They were redoing the parking lot, so getting in and out was a challenge, but that is ok, as it was for an upgrade. If you are not expecting a lot of bells and whistles, this is perfect.

We spent five nights here. Our room was spacious and had a Kuerig coffee maker, a microwave and two mini-fridges, which was great for saving on dining out, since a Trader Joe's and a Costco are both just about a block away. Staff were very nice.

The property, itself, was good. The only 2 things that could have brought the rating down would be 1) the parking lot where our room was located was scheduled to be repaved so we had to park on the other side of the property and lug all of our stuff (for a two night stay) including an ice chest and food items. 2) around 5 am on the morning we were to check out, a man was sitting on the curb screaming into his phone (a domestic issue, from the sound of it) BUT- we were already up and getting ready to leave, so technically it did not interfere with our rest. It made me a little nervous having to walk so far to our vehicle while he was so close and having a meltdown, but all ended well (for us- not sure about the fellas situation).

Some good upgrades to flooring, bed and bath mixed with tacky thrift store furniture. When I first walked in the smell of pine scented cleaning fluid was overpowering so I opened the front window for an hour. I was going to open the bathroom window but the screen was torn free and the back did not look like a safe environment. Pet peeve - it doesn’t matter how good the coffee is if all you have is powdered “lightener” to put in it.

Room was up-to-date, clean, and quiet. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Room was cleaned daily. Only issue was the lingering smell of the cleaning products when you entered the room after they serviced it. Opening the windows cleared it out pretty quickly.

Everything was fine with the exception of dried blood on the fitted sheet (the sheet appeared to have been laundered but it clearly didn't come out, yet was put on the bed by housekeeping regardless).

The floors were filthy! So gross! I tried to post the pic i took of the white towel that i wiped my feet down with that were black from the floor but it wouldnt allow me to download. I wiped the off before getting in bed. Also there was spilled coffee down the front of the dresser. Just felt icky. Makes one wonder about the1960 bed spread. The lady who checked us in was very nice and they have a kirig and fridge. That was nice.

This was my second stay here, and this time it was a disaster. At check-in, the front desk guy asked if the second floor was okay. I said no, because I’m handicapped. Instead of helping, he slammed his fist on the counter and acted like it was my fault I didn’t put that on my reservation—when there wasn’t even an option to do that. His attitude was aggressive and unprofessional. After driving four hours, I wasn’t about to argue. I told him to just give me the room. Then I got to the room, and it was filthy—dirty sheets and trash left by the last guest. I didn’t even bother going back to complain because the front desk already made it clear they didn’t care about my stay. Bottom line: my experience showed a total lack of respect and poor service.

We were on a two nighter stay while attending a local event. This hotel is located close to the freeway ramp, local shopping at Trader Joe's, Target, and a good amount of restaurants. It is too far from the city center, and not exactly walkable. Parking lot has ample parking. Our room was clean if a little worn, and all appliances and utilities worked perfectly. There's plenty of storage to hang or put away clothes. The front desk guy was congenial and efficient checking us in and out. Bottom line is this is one of the cheaper places I found when booking a room in Santa Rosa, and for the price, better than a Motel 6 stay.

It had everything I needed, was clean and provided instant hot water. Had to keep drapes closed for privacy because parking right outside (which, on the other hand, is actually quite convenient). The heater/cooler was loud. Overall, worth the reasonable cost.

Our room had 2 queen beds that seemed more like full beds and very firm but comfortable. Locking microwave that takes some getting used to but works great. The 2 large tables in the room were nice to set things on. Also had 2 small armchairs and a desk chair so didn’t have to sit on the beds all the time. Unfortunately the motel is right next to a busy intersection so lotsa road noise. Also bring clips for the curtains that don’t close completely cuz the parking lot is very well lit up. The step into the room is a doozy so be careful!

I stayed in one of the four upstairs rooms. The bathroom, shower, sheets, microwave, and fridge were very clean. The bedspread had a dark stain, the chair at the desk and t.v. remote were dirty. Some marks on the wall. Squeaky floor, the heater was loud but kept the room toasty. Not bad considering it’s literally the cheapest hotel I could find in Santa Rosa. Will stay there again.

FALSE ADVERTISING. When I selected this property, I did so for one particular reason - a room with kitchen facilities. My lodging request was accepted. HOWEVER, when I arrived at the facility and checked in, I was informed I could NOT have a room with a room with kitchen because my stay was too NOT enough days. I had booked for five (5) nights. No message was sent to me after booking and before arrival that the room I had booked would NOT be honored although such rooms were available. This is also a bad reflection on Expedia. Trustworthiness has gone. I will need to find another booking app other than Expedia.

The owner put his hand on my girlfriends butt. Then tried tell me that he was tired because he works 24/7. Unexcuseable! I was extremely upset & needed to rest be i had to work the day. They were supposed ti cancel my reservations.

The owners were exceptionally helpful to me. Friendly when checking in, quickly came to the room to help fix the TV that briefly didn't work and even offered to let me borrow their phone charger since I had forgotten mine. The hotel rooms are set back from the street so it's nice and quiet.

Have stayed multiple weeks so far for out of town work. Rooms clean and everything functional. Staff friendly, professional and helpful. Have not had any issues during my time there. Will stay again when work brings me up this way

I will not stay here again!!

Check in staff was very helpful and courteous. New parking lot with wide spaces. Well lit and safe. I enjoyed the snacks in room and pod coffee maker with bottled water. Fridge and microwave were a plus. Very comfy bed and pillows. Fresh quality towels and maid service was top-notch! Instant hot water in bathroom and nice tiled shower with non slip tub. Golf channel was available as well as a large selection for tv. My new favorite inn in Santa Rosa. A+++ service. For a great breakfast go to Dierk's Parkside cafe just north of inn.

This was my second stay here, and this time it was a disaster. At check-in, the front desk guy asked if the second floor was okay. I said no, because I’m handicapped. Instead of helping, he slammed his fist on the counter and acted like it was my fault I didn’t put that on my reservation—when there wasn’t even an option to do that. His attitude was aggressive and unprofessional. After driving four hours, I wasn’t about to argue. I told him to just give me the room. Then I got to the room, and it was filthy—dirty sheets and trash left by the last guest. I didn’t even bother going back to complain because the front desk already made it clear they didn’t care about my stay. Bottom line: my experience showed a total lack of respect and poor service.

The manager was very friendly, welcoming and professional! The motel room was well equipped, had a good layout, had several places to sit, including a small round table with chairs as well as a desk with a chair. It was very clean. Not fancy, but perfect for my needs and very comfortable. There were water bottles in the room and several kinds of snack bars. It was in a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again!

We were on a two nighter stay while attending a local event. This hotel is located close to the freeway ramp, local shopping at Trader Joe's, Target, and a good amount of restaurants. It is too far from the city center, and not exactly walkable. Parking lot has ample parking. Our room was clean if a little worn, and all appliances and utilities worked perfectly. There's plenty of storage to hang or put away clothes. The front desk guy was congenial and efficient checking us in and out. Bottom line is this is one of the cheaper places I found when booking a room in Santa Rosa, and for the price, better than a Motel 6 stay.

Good, affordable, motel in a convenient location with clean and well-maintained rooms. Staff was kind and helpful. Located by a busy street, it may be a bit noisy. In our case, the street noise was drowned out by a drunkard in the room below shouting in the middle of the night. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this motel.

Was passing through Santa Rosa with my husband on a road trip to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Redwood Inn for one night. Was a pleasant surprise with how friendly the checkin was and how clean our room was. Even thou we were near the main road it was very quiet. It was walking distance to Costco and many other places and even a Wendy's next door. Thanks for a nice stop over with such a great welcome.

People were nice, room was large and mostly quiet. My only complaint was that the room had a strong odor. I carry a spray odor neutralizer (since it was a road trip) and used it. No more odor problem. Breakfast was not provided but there was nowhere to serve it so they gave granola bars. I’m sure that was not advertised so I didn’t expect it. It was fine and met my needs.

We spent five nights here. Our room was spacious and had a Kuerig coffee maker, a microwave and two mini-fridges, which was great for saving on dining out, since a Trader Joe's and a Costco are both just about a block away. Staff were very nice.

A little loud around the property. And the soft toilet seat was awkward but otherwise a perfect stay! Everything we needed. Quick checkin, comfy beds, plenty of space, very clean. Would definitely stay again.
