There were cockroaches in our room, that were not bothered by us being there. So the roaches were used to people. Apparently they are not on any kind of bug deterrent schedule. The room had an unpleasant smell. The toilet gurgled in the early morning from some kind of septic problem. Don’t be fooled by the three stars, it’s definitely not. It’s a dingy not maintained property and although it is inexpensive it’s not worth it. We did not fulfill our reserved three nights, we stayed 1, then took the L and just got another hotel for our remaining 3 night vacation in CA.

Hormis un accueil super sympa et une literie correcte, nous avons trouvé peu de points positifs à la chambre 109 qui nous a été attribuée. La pièce n'est pas de niveau et on le sent bien. Le chauffage s est mis à fonctionner sans qu'on on puisse l éteindre. Il y a de mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bains. Le frigo fait du bruit en permanence. La climatisation fonctionne, mais on ne peut pas la régler. Nous espérons que les autres chambres sont en meilleur état. Dernier point, la photo principale mise en avant sur les sites de location montre ce qu on trouve après 20mn de marche....

A very charming, nicely maintained unique hotel, that has all the expected amenities. Located in a quiet residential, but central location, within walking distance of many good restaurants and Avenida del Mar, However, making it the rare unexpected gem, was their outstanding and genuinely warm, very kind and helpful staff. No matter what and why, , even after waking them up at 2:00 am, asking them for a new key card again, they asked if I needed help to carry my suitcase back to the room! I just hope management knows what a great bunch of people they pay have hired. I rarely do any reviews because it's all the same except for a noteworthy experience such as the ''Oceana unique boutique hotel"
