Our second stay was slightly better, but with the same general issues. We got a room on the first floor that was larger, had no skylight, and had working heating. On the other hand, it was right next to the entrance hall, and there were many rude people talking loudly at all hours. You could also hear people walking upstairs and even taking showers (very loud water flow noise from above). There were no soap or shampoo in the bathroom; when I asked for shampoo, I received a bottle that was only 1/10 full. The Wi-Fi was also poor in the room. The room also lacked a mini-fridge and didn't have any power outlets near the bed. They stored our luggage without any issues, including during the gap between stays when we went to Machu Picchu. Staff was always nice although in the breakfast room they were seated together most of time chatting or eating (maybe it was just bad timing with their deserved rest time) and I didn't want to interrupt. It was also not clear what could be ordered from the kitchen, there was no signs or menu anywhere.

Upon arrival, it seemed like a fancy hotel, but we were given a room on the third floor accessible only by stairs. The room heater didn't work, so we had to call the reception. They brought another heater that also didn't work, and then brought a third one that turned on but barely provided any heat. Our room was right next to the dining area where breakfast is served, and many people leave early in the morning, so our sleep (which is crucial to avoid altitude sickness) was disrupted by the noise of people constantly walking past our room. Additionally, all rooms face the central courtyard, which features a common area with tea. It seems they either offer or allow tour guides to gather with groups there, creating a lot of chatter at times. I strongly recommend that the hotel implements quiet hours and display clear signs about it in the common areas. The Wi-Fi was also poor in the room. Furthermore, both the bedroom and bathroom windows opened directly onto the walkway where people passed by, forcing us to keep the blinds closed at all times. Even with the bathroom door and blinds closed, the room was flooded with light through a skylight, so good luck sleeping past 6am. Despite the room not facing the street, you could still hear city traffic, honking, and fireworks in the background. The room also lacked a mini-fridge. They stored our luggage without any issues, including during the gap between stays when we went to Machu Picchu. Staff was always pleasant

Très bon emplacement, à deux pas de la place centrale de Cusco. Petit déjeuner varié et personnel très sympathique. En revanche, les chambres sont mal insonorisées et très sombres, les salles de bain un peu vieillissantes. Un peu cher pour ce que c’est, mais dans l’ensemble le séjour reste correct.

inicialmente recebemos um quarto com uma janela muito pequena, parecia uma alcova. além de escuro, era na porta do refeitório e fazia divisa com a cozinha. o barulho dos funcionários começou as 4h30 da madrugada, o que me despertou. infelizmente o quarto também estava bastante sujo, com tufos de cabelo no chão do quarto, pedaços de papel e pelos no chão do banheiro. a lixeira ao lado da privada estava suja com pingos sabe-se lá do que na tampa, muito nojento. o lençol estava furado e não cheirava bem. pedi para trocar de quarto e reclamei da limpeza. o funcionário foi muito solícito e conseguiu um quarto para mim. mesmo sendo menor, valeu a pena. por conta do nosso azar, eles nos ofereceram gratuidade no serviço de lavanderia.
