I travel quite a bit and typically stay at name brand chain hotels. I'm not expecting luxury for a value priced room but I am expecting comfortable clean accommodations. We stayed in room 228 and upon entry noticed that odor of a room where the carpet has outlived it's useful intended lifespan, that's always a bad first impression. other small details overlooked were the soap in the shower was completely empty and the spout fell off of the shampoo dispenser. Minor inconvenience but totally avoidable. The head boards are vinyl covered foam and on the be ed closest to the door the vinyl was peeling off in an area the size of my head exposing the foam which was just gross to think about what might be living in there. The hot breakfast and coffee was very good. If I go back to Carlisle for another event I'll be staying somewhere else. The headboard thing really gave me the creeps.
