Running a bed and breakfast is not easy. It's a lifestyle and an artform. Amy and Mark have mastered this completely and are true artists. The place was comfortable, well designed, clean and very classy. Breakfast on the patio was magnificent. Different entrees were served each day, one more delicious than the previous. The patio was a peaceful way to start the morning. Their advice on where to eat was spot on. Our four days in Maine was a remarkable vacation, and the memories will last through the years. Thank you Amy and Mark for your hospitality, your skills in making us feel welcome, and your outstanding breakfasts. We will be back.

This is a beautiful and charming place to stay in an historic area of Bath, surrounded by fine homes, big trees and lovely gardens. It's comfortable and quiet. Close to the town center. With breakfast in the garden on nice weather days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Beautiful property in a very convenient part of Bath. Restaurants and shops are a very short distance away….minutes from attractions such as the Maine Maritime Museum (must see). Owner is a very courteous host. Stayed in the Garden Suite, which has three rooms; a sitting room, the bedroom, and a bath with a shower. No TV in the room, but that certainly was not an issue. TV downstairs in the library. Breakfast was an excellent quiche, and you have some input as to what you want for breakfast. Communal refrigerator available and bags of ice available in the fridge. Bed was extremely comfortable. OK parking off the street. Quiet neighborhood full of historic buildings. Only “negative” would be that there are quite a number of narrow, wooden (read: noisy) steps to the second floor rooms.

Amy and Mark were kind, gracious and very welcoming hosts. They made our stay peaceful and very pleasant. Amy is a wonderful cook...the breakfasts were divine. She also explained the history of the beautiful house and the unique molding. I would strongly recommend staying at the Benjamin Packard house....for the beautiful and comfortable rooms, for the thoughtful hosts, great food and closeness to so many interesting and historic sites in the area.

Amy and Mark were kind, gracious and very welcoming hosts. They made our stay peaceful and very pleasant. Amy is a wonderful cook...the breakfasts were divine. She also explained the history of the beautiful house and the unique molding. I would strongly recommend staying at the Benjamin Packard house....for the beautiful and comfortable rooms, for the thoughtful hosts, great food and closeness to so many interesting and historic sites in the area.

This is a beautiful and charming place to stay in an historic area of Bath, surrounded by fine homes, big trees and lovely gardens. It's comfortable and quiet. Close to the town center. With breakfast in the garden on nice weather days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

This is one of my favorite B&B place. Amy is so nice with service and her breakfast is the best! We have a three course breakfast daily with home baked goods to fresh fruit. The house has a long and beautiful history which adds more charm. The house is located 0.5 mile from downtown. We walked daily there!

The Benjamin F. Packard House was one of our top 3 B & B experiences. Delicious, generous breakfasts, congenial hosts, beautifully restored and decorated historic house, very clean---perfect in every way.

Running a bed and breakfast is not easy. It's a lifestyle and an artform. Amy and Mark have mastered this completely and are true artists. The place was comfortable, well designed, clean and very classy. Breakfast on the patio was magnificent. Different entrees were served each day, one more delicious than the previous. The patio was a peaceful way to start the morning. Their advice on where to eat was spot on. Our four days in Maine was a remarkable vacation, and the memories will last through the years. Thank you Amy and Mark for your hospitality, your skills in making us feel welcome, and your outstanding breakfasts. We will be back.

We stayed at the Benjamin Packard House for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Amy and Mark are wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming, helpful, and knowledgable about the Bath area. Our room was clean and comfortable. There's also a lovely quiet patio in the backyard to enjoy. Their home cooked breakfast was outstanding and is served in their dining room or patio when the weather permits. We highly recommend the Benjamin Packard House and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we are in the Bath area.

Great location & a lovely, historic house. Amy & Mark were welcoming, friendly & discrete (the house was peaceful). Very comfortable room. Breakfast was a real treat - beginning with home made pastries. Private parking adjacent to the property. All in all, a superb bed & breakfast.

Everything was perfect! The innkeepers are lovely and very welcoming. Our room was beautiful, with a great soaking tub. We were welcomed back in the evening after dinner out with ice water and cute little blueberry chocolates. The breakfast was amazing! Served in a beautiful dining room on lovely china. We chose omelets, ham and fresh fruit, which my husband loved. We very highly recommend this little gem in the great town of Bath. Cannot wait to return!
