I like the location due to proximity to the beach. Breakfast was good. The Staff are super great! I was told by a Staff from a neighboring hotel (Mandarin I think) that I can’t use their beach cot/lounge chairs. So I moved. There is only like three or four provided by Uptown. The ones provided are not as comfortable as the ones provided by the other hotel.

The Uptown hotel is a older style mid range hotel on Boracay beach. The rooms are basic and completely lacked hot water for shower or washing. There is an outdoor pool area. The hotel lobby area has a series of very noisy rock music bands playing until after midnight on every night of the week. Any customers would be well advised to bring secure ear plugs if they want any sleep. Customers would also be advised to use another hotel if they wanted any hot water.

This hotel is not even close to 4 Star and has no business advertising itself as such. The shower had minimal hot water and was a trickle. Premier Deluxe room contains a jacuzzi. Nice huh? It was broken - no hot water, the plug didn't work (it had a string tied to it so you could pull it out of the drain), and the jets were completely inoperative with their control removed and covered in duct tape. Your "ecstatic sensation" and "hip and modern facilities" at the Infinity pool include exposed wires, splattered paint on room windows, multiple bags of cement piled up against the wall, stacked up tiles, random plastic chairs and tools, miniature scaffolding and something that resembles a rack for drying clothes - it legitimately looks like construction sight. Throw in some empty paint buckets too. No deck chairs in the pool like in the pics - they're stacked up next to the entrance to the pool area and caked in dust. The swim up pool bar is completely inoperative and used as a storage area and is equally as filthy as the patio. There are no tiles or flooring of any kind on the patio leaving the cement beneath exposed, cracked and rough. "Hip and modern facilities" continue with the showers and toilets - just move the mop and bucket in the shower to the side if you want to rinse off after your swim. Mind the rotting and rusted doors when using the toilet - hope you've had your shots. Blends perfectly with the rotting wood and corrugated iron that is the pool "bar". See pics

The property is not maintained anymore. The towel rack in the room is broken, furnitures are faded and a lot of scratches. Infinity pool wood entrance is not in good condition anymore and a bit dangerous to tripped yourself while walking. The other Elevator is broken while other one is rusting already but All of the staff are very helpful and accomodating that makes you feel welcome everyday.

Staff were great, everyone was attentive, caring, and polite. I would give 6 stars to the staff and service. Hotel location is fantastic, you are right by the beach, breakfast (Restaurant) area has full view of the beach and the white sands. Hotel has 2 pools and they are very nice, but the beach is much nicer. To get here from the Main Street you need to walk your luggage about 5 minutes, and the last 20-50 ft is on sand. You will usually get help from the transportation. Pros: - Location , middle of everything, right by the beach, lots of restaurants, good breakfast, week-end is buffet style. and you can order unlimited, coffee, eggs and bread - Clean: The staff does a superb job of keeping the hotel clean. They mop the floors everyday and my room was always clean with fresh water -Service: Friendliest and most helpful people in the hotel, They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. I do not even remember touching the door as someone would rush to get the door for me every time - on premise restaurant with good choices & Nightly music CONS: 1- Do not expect a high end 5 star Hilton or Marriott rooms here. They are descent, clean but old . Everything is old. 2- my Shower was trickling water, zero pressure. I recommend upgrading shower heads 3- Zero view 4- Old Beds 5- Expect to see bugs, they just crawl into the room 6- AC: OLD type, very loud, and without it, you won't survive. You are really paying for the location

We had an absolutely amazing time. The facility was great, the staff was great. The only reason I could not give it a 5 star review is because of the staff member at the rooftop pool trying to solicit excursions for the next day. I was bombarded and harassed enough on the beach that the last thing I wanted was one of the hotel staff members trying to get us to buy something from him. Or at least use his card so he could get a kickback. Other than him, the staff was top notch.

Doesn’t look like the pictures. There’s rats in the rooms. Dirty sheets and dirty Pillows. Had rat problem in one room they moved us to another room had the same rat problem. We had to get another hotel at four in the morning and they wouldn’t help us with that. They are making getting a refund very difficult and we didn’t even stay the next two days that we paid for.

Clean and good size room for family. Friendly staff and the manager is very accomodating. Love the live band at night. ❤️ will book again next time.

My experience in Uptown Hotel was terrible. There was cockroach’s on the floor. The water pressure in the shower barely worked. I felt like I didn’t feel clean after my shower. The bed was too tough causing me to have back and neck problems. The towels are poor quality. The only thing that’s good about Uptown Hotel is the location. Stay away from this hotel. It is very expensive and a terrible experience especially for the high paying price I paid for. I paid $1,300 for 7 nights just to experience a 1 star Hotel. I don’t recommend this place.

I would like to commend all the staff from the reception amd all the crew member of this hotel, awesome service, greetings every time they see us, the open the doors for us. Excellent service, the housekeeping forget to put tissue on our washroom, but its ok they replace it right away. Everything is perfect

Overall it is good, I booked the premium king suite with jacuzzi. However their jacuzzi is not working. I ask upon checking in abd they said it working, however when i use it it is not working.

Hotellet har många rum utan fönster vilket fick vi erfara vid incheckning. När jag inte accepterade att ha ett rum utan fönster blev jag erbjuden rum med fönster. Hotellet är något sliten men bra läge. Kanske lite för dyrt för detta standard.

Th room was amazing. Had a few issues up front but were fixed very quickly. The only flaw about my room is it was right above the restaurant and stage area and was very extremely loud until about 1 am everynight. I wasn’t too bothered by it but definitely not for travelers who are there to strictly sightsee and rest.

Staff were great, everyone was attentive, caring, and polite. I would give 6 stars to the staff and service. Hotel location is fantastic, you are right by the beach, breakfast (Restaurant) area has full view of the beach and the white sands. Hotel has 2 pools and they are very nice, but the beach is much nicer. To get here from the Main Street you need to walk your luggage about 5 minutes, and the last 20-50 ft is on sand. You will usually get help from the transportation. Pros: - Location , middle of everything, right by the beach, lots of restaurants, good breakfast, week-end is buffet style. and you can order unlimited, coffee, eggs and bread - Clean: The staff does a superb job of keeping the hotel clean. They mop the floors everyday and my room was always clean with fresh water -Service: Friendliest and most helpful people in the hotel, They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. I do not even remember touching the door as someone would rush to get the door for me every time - on premise restaurant with good choices & Nightly music CONS: 1- Do not expect a high end 5 star Hilton or Marriott rooms here. They are descent, clean but old . Everything is old. 2- my Shower was trickling water, zero pressure. I recommend upgrading shower heads 3- Zero view 4- Old Beds 5- Expect to see bugs, they just crawl into the room 6- AC: OLD type, very loud, and without it, you won't survive. Room is nice, except for the tub is not working properly. I stayed in Premium Suites and every night till morning you can hear too much noise it seems like its close to the kitchen cant get a good sleep with that. Thats it Everything is awesome.

Property was perfect location. In the middle of all the action. For the price great. Room was fine. Only downside was the shower. Poor water flow. Staff friendliness off the charts. Beautiful island. Worth every second to visit. - visit 2 brown boys restaurant. Best food on the island.

The staff is honestly the best asset this hotel has to offer. Always kind, friendly and extremely helpful. I had a minor injury that I needed to have checked out at a local clinic - they could have just given me directions to the clinic and sent me on my way, but instead, sent a staff member with me to ensure I was taken care of.

Doesn’t look like the pictures. There’s rats in the rooms. Dirty sheets and dirty Pillows. Had rat problem in one room they moved us to another room had the same rat problem. We had to get another hotel at four in the morning and they wouldn’t help us with that. They are making getting a refund very difficult and we didn’t even stay the next two days that we paid for.

Great location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We got an escort from the hotel from the airport to the hotel which made all the transferring and boat ride so easy, especially since we had a heavy suitcase. Thank you Randy!

I tell to reception we have early check out on the morning because of changes schedule.. then on time we check out.. the assign front desk ask me if the reception last night offer me a packed breakfast.. I said No. Even I told the reception we check out early in 5am. Anyway its just a breakfast. But i think almost 12,000 pesos for this hotel is not worth it. Other staff is Good

We had an absolutely amazing time. The facility was great, the staff was great. The only reason I could not give it a 5 star review is because of the staff member at the rooftop pool trying to solicit excursions for the next day. I was bombarded and harassed enough on the beach that the last thing I wanted was one of the hotel staff members trying to get us to buy something from him. Or at least use his card so he could get a kickback. Other than him, the staff was top notch.

I would like to commend all the staff from the reception amd all the crew member of this hotel, awesome service, greetings every time they see us, the open the doors for us. Excellent service, the housekeeping forget to put tissue on our washroom, but its ok they replace it right away. Everything is perfect

The hotel is front of the beach, near shops, restaurants, and was able to book a Tuktuk tour around the island. It took me about less than hour to go from and back to the airport during dry season.

This hotel is not 5 stars as advertised. Bar and resterant in the pool area was usually unattended. No umbrellas in the pool area, old broken chairs. Overall hotel is basically 2 to 3 stars.

Great location by shopping and dinning. The continental breakfast every morning on the patio watching the sunrise was fantastic.

Hotell va kanon, läget på stranden spot on, resturang med underhållning men som ej hörs in på rummet. Bra pool på taket samt genuin och trevlig personal som hjälper till.

The bathrrom have molds. We were provided with 2 overly used bath towels. There were no washcloths, hand cloths, and laundry bags. I tried to borrow a flat iron to prepare our clothes for dinner. Unfortunately, they wouldn't allow guests to use it but charges an ironing fee instead. Saving grace of the hotel would be Ryan, who is part of the transport team, and the lady who was wearing a white shirt at the front desk. Both of them are true to their jobs and provided utmost hospitality to the guests. Thank you.

Unfortunately got given maybe the worst room in the hotel. In a wifi dead zone with constant drops and below 0.5mbps. The staff were cool and changed my room after I complained the 3rd time and requested a room change. The window attached ac in the first room was also incredibly loud, like diesel engine loud. The difference between the two rooms was night and day. However, the outside amenities were awesome. Spent heaps of time in the two pools.
