This is a "hotel" next to a pub. Really large car park which is free if you register your vehicle at reception. I was in room 119 which was okay, ensuite was clean and shower (over bath) was good. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was poor (not at all fast). During the night I heard an amount of noise coming from within the premises, which meant I did not get a good nights sleep. I will not return here.

Stopped to see relatives on route to Liverpool. Hotel is next to a stonehouse - great for evening meal and/ or breakfast. Quiet location with plenty of parking. Nowhere is Milton Keynes is far away or hard to get to.

Had room overlooking canal basin. Very hot but fan in room. Fridge microwave and crockery provided with list of local takeaways. Was Stonehouse restaurant next door which was ok as no onsite restaurant. Steep stairs to first floor and no lift seen. Parking ok.

Room is a good size, nice having a microwave, fridge, plates, cutlery. The bath is a good size for soaking and the shower is great. There are lovely walking paths nearby, including a public orchard and a canal walk.

Great place to stay, great price, provision of microwave and fridge in room and vast choice of food delivery companies very convenient. Pub / Restaurant next door does great breakfast options as well as evening meals. Ideally located for Bletchley park visit. Next door to MK marina. See view.

Lovely room plenty of space with a bath as we requested. Room has a microwave and a fridge. We didnt use the microwave but the fridge was needed. Wonderfully situated on the canal with a nice pub restaurant next door. Recommend a walk up the canal, about 30 minutes, to the Wharbler on the Wharf. Lovely views and nice food. Uber into town is cheap and only takes 10 minutes to the main shopping nall

This hotel provided a basic room. The bed was hard and sags. The shower was strong and hot. Large parking lot was convenient. Our room was facing the parking lot so it was noisy. Girls at reception were pleasant and friendly. The rug looked like it needs a good shampoo and the hall was sprayed too strongly with air freshener.

Great stay in a great location. A few cobwebs but nothing offensive. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast excellent and very reasonably priced for quality and quantity. Wonderful when you have a room on the canal

The room was clean and tidy. There was an usual odour which was initially annoying. There were several neutradol odour fighters dotted around so I guess the problem was long term. The bed sagged badly in the middle which meant my wife and I rolled together overnight. However the second night, due my wife attending a conference at a nearby hotel I had the bed to myself. This meant I rolled into the central pit everytime I turned over in the night.

The room was clean and tidy. There was an usual odour which was initially annoying. There were several neutradol odour fighters dotted around so I guess the problem was long term. The bed sagged badly in the middle which meant my wife and I rolled together overnight. However the second night, due my wife attending a conference at a nearby hotel I had the bed to myself. This is a lovely hotel. Each room has a microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery, fridge and iron and ironing board plus the usual kettle. The beds are kingsize and really comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower was powerful. The walls looked freshly painted. The man on the desk was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

So this hotel was originally built in 1970. I believe it is still in the same configuration as it was in 1970. The rooms are pretty small and tight, There’s no AC in the rooms, the bathroom is on the smaller side. and they actually have real keys to your rooms. Access to the 2nd floor is through the office and up some very narrow stairs. The rooms were clean but kind of outdated. You are right by a marina with lots of ducks and geese that start squawking at 4:30am every morning so be prepared for that. The restaurant next door has good food and pizza and is very good on their prices and service as we ate there several times. Make sure you book the size bed you want. They have double size and King size which is (2) twins put together. Parking is good and wasn’t an issue. It’s about 1hr 20 min from Heathrow Airport. Use uber and not a Taxi.

Hotel was very good. One thing was that we were 2adults in a double room and the cleaning staff only left towels for 1 person and on the day we left check out was 12 o’clock and they were knocking on the door at 9.15 to clean the room. When we returned from breakfast we had to go for a walk before we could get back in our room.

I was there for one night to attend a meeting in the morning, arrived late around 10:30pm and required food, lady in reception was very helpful and gave me options for a late meal from local takeaways which would still be serving.

We had a very enjoyable stay here, the staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and very pleased to have a fridge and microwave in the room! It was ideally located for us.

Booked this hotel over a week before arriving and found out the day before checking in (by email) that the restaurant next door would be closed for refurbishment. So nowhere to have breakfast or dinner. Hotel said they only found out the day before that it was closing …. Really? I and my mother have mobility issues and were put in an upstairs room. Told there was no lift. Girl on reception not that bothered. Due to refurbishments going on, 2 make shift disabled spots were put in place with some cones. Same size as normal spaces so not very helpful. Room was ok but very hot and stuffy all the time. Hotel obviously didn’t want to tell anyone that restaurant was closed to not lose any bookings but they need to be more honest with customers. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Check in and out staff were excellent. Room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We visited Ye Olde Swan pub which was a pleasant ten minute walk away and that was really good as well. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Peartree Lodge is a very short walk away from hospital and I was able to check in 45 minutes early, so that I could drop my belongings off. The young lady on the front desk, when I arrived was so helpful. On my return that evening, after a very long journey from Devon, and a very emotional visit at the hospital, I was greeted with the same young lady on the front desk, I mentioned that I may be staying an additional night, and she was so helpful I am very impressed with her support to me. The room is clean, tidy and the bed is so comfortable. The added extras with the microwave and fridge in the room is really great. Size of room is lovely and the view across the canal is amazing. Thank you so much for making a difficult visit back to MK, a pleasant and comfortable stay at the Peartree Lodge. I will be definitely looking at coming back to stay, when I am next planning a visit to MK.

On my return that evening, after a very long journey from Devon, and a very emotional visit at the hospital, I was greeted with the same young lady on the front desk, I mentioned that I may be staying an additional night, and she was so helpful I am very impressed with her support to me. The room is clean, tidy and the bed is so comfortable. The added extras with the microwave and fridge in the room is really great. Size of room is lovely and the view across the canal is amazing. Thank you so much for making a difficult visit back to MK, a pleasant and comfortable stay at the Peartree Lodge. I will be definitely looking at coming back to stay, when I am next planning a visit to MK.

Although the decor and furniture in the room felt dated, everything was clean and perfectly serviceable. Great touch to have a fridge and microwave in the room, with free hot drinks and biscuits very welcome. Good location for Milton Keynes and good pub next door.

Stopped to see relatives on route to Liverpool. Hotel is next to a stonehouse - great for evening meal and/ or breakfast. Quiet location with plenty of parking. Nowhere is Milton Keynes is far away or hard to get to.

Great stay in a great location. A few cobwebs but nothing offensive. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast excellent and very reasonably priced for quality and quantity. Wonderful when you have a room on the canal

Booked this hotel for our trip to Bletchley Park, check in was good with friendly lady on reception, all of the staff were really helpful and informative, room was ground floor with view over the marina, more than adequate and very clean. The restaurant next to the hotel was good for breakfast. Would definitely use this hotel again

Lovely room plenty of space with a bath as we requested. Room has a microwave and a fridge. We didnt use the microwave but the fridge was needed. Wonderfully situated on the canal with a nice pub restaurant next door. Recommend a walk up the canal, about 30 minutes, to the Wharbler on the Wharf. Lovely views and nice food. Uber into town is cheap and only takes 10 minutes to the main shopping nall

The hotel was lovely and a great position but the restaurant is due for a refurbish which wasn't mentioned on the booking, the car park is strewn with cameras for security and to be honest some of the clientele made you wonder if this was why they need the cameras. The bar and restaurant was tired and dirty, outside the same, food very average, this is a lovely spot but they are missing a trick. Would stay there again but would not eat in the restaurant

It was the restaurant attached to this hotel that lets it down. Noisy full of kids and the bar staff don’t have a clue how to keep tables clear and clean - walked in and it looked like a bomb had gone off. Couldn’t fault the hotel brilliant staff thoroughly clean room and bedding. Walls are thin and noise travelled but no more than any other motel type place. Would return again and thoroughly recommend Ye Old White Swan 10minutes walk over the canal bridge for excellent dinner and breakfast.

A lovely change to the big chains like Premier Inn and Travelodge. Good value, easy free parking, comfy beds and pillows and very friendly staff. The only issue is the pub next door starts serving breakfast from 9am.

Lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings. Great view from our room when opened the curtains this morning - overlooking the water and boats, didn't see this when we arrived as it was dark. Shame about the breakfast from next door

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I would not recommend the restuarant next door, service is terrible, food was extremely below expectations, there were women (patrons) in the restuarant with screaming kids and despite several people complaining, not one word was said to them by the staff.

Check in went smoothly, The room was comfortable, and bathroom good. The view from the window was lovely. The bar/restaurant was a disaster, The restaurant was closed at 8pm when we arrived because there was "no food left", my drink came in a chipped glass, and I was given incorrect change. I would use this hotel again but avoid the bar.

Great place to stay, great price, provision of microwave and fridge in room and vast choice of food delivery companies very convenient. Pub / Restaurant next door does great breakfast options as well as evening meals. Ideally located for Bletchley park visit. Next door to MK marina. See view.

Room was a nice big room but the bath was dirty And bath towel smelt due to being left in a drawer which was unexpected and the room was extremely hot. There was a dirty coffee cup upon arrival and it was never replaced after me requesting it to be removed The shower was not clean it had a dead moth inside it The kettle was not clean it still contained water There were not enough pillows I was informed I couldn’t checkin early which was off putting. It was also noisy and staff never followed it up instead telling my daughter that they need to hear it first.

Excellent value for money. Really helpful staff and if you're lucky enough to get a canal side room, a nice view. If you're looking for somewhere to eat the Greek Restaurant around the corner (behind the carwash) is excellent. A really good alternative to a Premier Inn or similar
