First and foremost the owner Martin was incredible. I received a text from Expedia before I even left IAH asking what time I'd be there. I replied with a time and Martin was waiting on me when I pulled up in a taxi. Check-in was very quick! A credit card swipe and the keys were in my hand. By keys I do mean physical keys. One for the room, one for the lock box, and a RFID for the security gate.. This is a small place, but very quiet. Martin was there everyday if anything was needed. I stayed in the family villa which was 3 beds and 1 bath (shower). All the beds were comfortable and the front porch with 3 chairs and a hammock was great. You're within walking distance on resturants and an Oxxo. Check-out was just as quick as check-in. The lady called for a taxi for me which arrived in less than ten minutes. You will need your own ice and drinks as well as food. Wifi was reliable. I didn't experience any interruptions. A 5 gallon jug of water is provided. The only negative I had there was there was no television. I just watch movies and football on my phone. Maybe Martin will get me a TV next time. Great place!

Beautiful, tranquil property grounds. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Well kept pools, shared kitchen available for use and filtered drinking water in family cabin. Loved the dogs on property as well. Walkable neighborhood close to grocery store and about half a mile to bakery and other shops.

Lovely villa style rooms with a beautiful tropical garden and shared kitchen. Our room had a balcony looking out over the trees so we could see many unique birds. Very clean and quiet. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission when we were there but I think it was temporary.

This is a beautiful property, the owner is great and has a very nice staff! There’s parking in the property, and it’s located perfectly a couple blocks from the water and just adjacent to the town. A great spot for those looking for their own oasis!

Loved the idea of the place. Villas were nice. They were not maintaining the “jungle” garden area and the fountain in the courtyard wasn’t flowing. As a result the mosquitoes were completely out of control. We could not enjoy the outdoor porch or pool areas at all. There’s not an on site restaurant or even any really close ones available for lunch or dinner.

C était très bien à part les piscines étaient brouillées et pas de tv dans la chambre mais nous n avons pas eu besoin. Les lits étaient confortables et le stationnement intérieur était pratique pour nos scooters.

Eine ruhige grüne Oase, traumhaft , allerdings etwas weiter weg vom Zentrum. Mit dem Scooter, der auf dem Gelände geparkt werden kann aber perfekt. Schöner Pool. Supermarkt in 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Gemeinschaftsküche sehr praktisch. Gratis Trinkwasser zum wieder auffüllen.

We Absolutely loved this hidden gem. Only a 15 min walk into the heart of town. 5 min to the grocery to pick up all your provisions. The rooms are set in the most beautiful, lush gardens. Two perfect dipping pools to cool off after a hot day in the Mexican sun. If you want to rent a jeep there is parking available in the gated compound. If you love dogs they have 6 rescues that roam the property. We fell in love with them all. It really feels like home here. All the staff are amazing and kind. We loved it so much we booked (before we left) for a month next year.

Property is beautiful. Clearly a labour of love. Shared kitchen was lacking in basic utensils. Room was dark amd main pool was closed for several days. Beds and linens were excellent. No inside sitting area in 2 br unit we were in. Would definitely stay here again.

Sehr hellhörig, grundsätzliche ok. Hatten die suite, Personal ist eher mäßig freundliche gewesen, saubekeit war ebenfalls i.o wenn man nicht zu genau hingesehen hat. Störend, das man gezwungen wird zu konsumieren von der ansässigen bar wenn man die liegen benutzen möchte. Bei 187 euro die nacht, nicht angemessen. Ansonsten gute lage. Zu Fuß schnell alles erreichbar.

The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. I could easily walk to restaurants or stores without being in the middle of a lot of traffic or touristy hustle.

These condos have a mature garden w 2 pools. Lots of birds, excellent grocery 3 blocks away. Staff on site, and a very clean shared kitchen. Beautiful clean comfortable rooms.

Clean with cozy bedding and lots of space. The grounds are well cared for and lush. They are lots of really sweet pups on the property. They also had a mini playground which was great. Perfect place if you have kids.

The little cabin we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and the surrounding gardens green and lush with tropical birds making weird noises that was cool. Bed was comfortable and ac worked great. We enjoyed our stay.

The courtyard and grounds were a magical, lush and creative landscape. It was so tranquil especially in the evening with the pretty lighting and the large comfy hammock. It belies the outward appearance of the building (which is clean, bright and colourful). We were pleasantly surprised and as a bonus in May, we had it all to ourselves. No TV in the room, and we didn't miss it lol.

깨끗하고 즐거웠지만 와이파이가 아쉬웠어요. 연결이 되지않아 여러번 문의했지만 개선되지 않았고 개별 데이터를 쓸수밖에 없었어요.

Beautiful villa with a private pool and comfortable bed. You need to get a scooter or bikes to get into town for food and shopping. WiFi did not work/ had too low of a signal to connect in our room. Service was friendly. Bring your bug spray! The lush grounds attract a lot of mosquitos.

Wonderful little spot with nice welcoming hosts. We hadn’t noticed there was no TV in the unit, which would have been nice to unwind to, but that was our mistake. The only other issue was there was only one Key, which opens and closes the entry gate so you need to be together to come and go. The key to the unit also is needed to lock from the inside which I’ve never seen before. My Girlfriend went out to get groceries and when I woke up from my nap I was literally locked inside the unit without a key and no way to get out! Seems like a dangerous design especially if you have kids etc. Having said that, lovely place and nice staff.

We loved our stay here. Villas El Encanto is located in a quiet residential area with lots of lovely bakery and breakfast options nearby. Our accommodation was excellent. 5 of us (incl 3 teenagers) stayed in a very cool and comfortable family cabin with filtered water and a fully equipped kitchen area. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the pretty garden. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - the kids were very sad to say goodbye to the dogs :-)

This visit we stayed in the small cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Very safe area. Within walking distance to a major grocery store and restaurants. Anna the owner, and her son and family live on-site and are very accommodating to anything you require. The compound is lush with vegetation. A wonderful, relaxing vacation.

The hotel is lovely, it was quite quiet when I was there which was nice and they let me have a late checkout. The cabin was lovely with 3 double beds in it (was quite expensive though for off season). The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the only thing was the hot water only lasted for about a minute then it was gone which is not great when washing your hair and the showerhead was not the greatest. The staff were absolutely lovely.

This place was a Gem. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to a local market. The staff was always helpful. The property garden and pools were amazing. We felt connected with nature at all times. The communal kitchen was well equipped. My husband and I are very pleased with our stay.

Hannah and her son went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable and quiet. They made sure we made it to the cruise port the next morning which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this property!!

Lovely little boutique apartments in a tranquil setting. Ana the owner was fantastic - couldn’t have been more helpful. She recommended a great dive trip and helped organise a medical appointment. Appartments have everything you need for a self contained/sufficient stay with all the necessary amenities. 15 minute walk into the centre of Cozumel and would probably recommend a car to make the most of exploring the island. Great base for an island adventure - would def recommend.

We loved staying at Villas el Encanto. The room was beautiful and very cozy like a home away from home. Great attention to detail and the staff was very friendly. We were personaly greeted by the owners and immediately felt like family. We will for sure return for a much longer stay. We had an amazing time

This is a beautiful property, the owner is great and has a very nice staff! There’s parking in the property, and it’s located perfectly a couple blocks from the water and just adjacent to the town. A great spot for those looking for their own oasis!

Eine ruhige grüne Oase, traumhaft , allerdings etwas weiter weg vom Zentrum. Mit dem Scooter, der auf dem Gelände geparkt werden kann aber perfekt. Schöner Pool. Supermarkt in 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Gemeinschaftsküche sehr praktisch. Gratis Trinkwasser zum wieder auffüllen.

We Absolutely loved this hidden gem. Only a 15 min walk into the heart of town. 5 min to the grocery to pick up all your provisions. The rooms are set in the most beautiful, lush gardens. Two perfect dipping pools to cool off after a hot day in the Mexican sun. If you want to rent a jeep there is parking available in the gated compound. If you love dogs they have 6 rescues that roam the property. We fell in love with them all. It really feels like home here. All the staff are amazing and kind. We loved it so much we booked (before we left) for a month next year.

We loved our stay here. Villas El Encanto is located in a quiet residential area with lots of lovely bakery and breakfast options nearby. Our accommodation was excellent. 5 of us (incl 3 teenagers) stayed in a very cool and comfortable family cabin with filtered water and a fully equipped kitchen area. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the pretty garden. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - the kids were very sad to say goodbye to the dogs :-)

Loved the idea of the place. Villas were nice. They were not maintaining the “jungle” garden area and the fountain in the courtyard wasn’t flowing. As a result the mosquitoes were completely out of control. We could not enjoy the outdoor porch or pool areas at all. There’s not an on site restaurant or even any really close ones available for lunch or dinner.

My husband and I travelled for the Ironman event. The location was perfect. Close to grocery store, race expo and finish line/run course. The stay itself was beautiful, secluded and was incredibly relaxing. Access to a shared kitchen was a bonus. Really great access to local restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We also loved seeing the property dogs, they were super hosts! I can't reccomeneded this property enough. One of our favourite stays.

A real hidden gem! I was nervous about not staying on the beach when the main purpose of the holiday was snorkelling but the location was perfect for our 7 night stay. Away from the hustle of the town but just a 20 minute walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants, lovely luscious grounds made us feel like we were in a mini jungle. We had a hire car so could tour the island and the plentiful shore snorkelling locations! Ample parking for cars on site. We loved our cosy cabin with plenty of wardrobe space and a kitchenette. Well decorated and really comfortable beds. The animals are a real bonus you don’t usually get on holiday! We loved sitting on the porch with the friendly dogs. Ana made us feel like it was a home from home and gave us recommendations. Provided us with ample filtered water to refill our bottles so we didn’t have to buy single use plastic. Lots of mosquitos (because of the greenery) and even with big spray, a net would have been useful at night. Great Mexican breakfast for $10pp at Silvia’s at the end of the street. We’ll definitely stay here again if we return to Cozumel!

Such a fun place to stay. There are two pools, lots of trees and a Palapa with chairs and a hammock to cool out in. It’s very relaxing and beautiful and away from all of the busy tourist stuff.

Room was dated, but clean, large and comfortable. 2 small pools and grounds for hanging out for a short while. Shared kitchens easily accessible. About 1.5 miles from Ferry. No walkable restaurant options. Overall, a good option at a very affordable price as a base for day trips for diving, etc.
