Reservamos os quartos privados com banheiro, mas o hotel também é hostel. Há uma área na cabertura com sofás, mesas, cozinha e varanda. Muito agradável. Quem quiser pode comprar itens de mercado e armazenar lá para o preparo de suas próprias refeições. Tem todos os equipamentos de cozinha, fogão, geladeira etc.

Easy to walk around Old City from Magnolia Inn with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. There is no elevator and regualr rooms are on the top floor.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay, however, there are some important issues to note. First off, there is no parking available for the hotel. If you have a car, you need to be prepared to hunt for street parking (which is a nightmare) or locate a parking lot and pay $25 a night. The staff at the hotel were very helpful though, suggesting a decently close lot. Thankfully we did end up finding street parking. We had a lovely room, but unfortunately the air conditioning did not work. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful & was able to secure another room. It was not nearly as nice, but it was cool & the beds were comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. And like I said, the staff were all great. Very accommodating.

We loved our stay at Magnolia! Came back twice during our Panama vacation. Beautiful property that mixes private rooms and shared hostel rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to Casco Viejo restaurants and shops. They offer airport pickup service. Only drawback is you have to hike the stairs to get to rooms.

MAGNOLIA Inn was very clean, all staff exceedingly helpful. Easy walking distance to many great restaurants. They have airport to and from Magnolia in for $35.00 cash each way, up to four people.

Dejligt hotel, der ligger perfekt. Hotellet har gratis byomvisning hver morgen kl 9.45. Virkelig gode steder at spise morgenmad rundt om hjørnet. Kaffen i Panama er udsøgt! Hotellet har en lounge med køkken som bruges af rygsækrejsende - vi brugte det ikke, men det var hyggeligt.

Great location, convenient, close to restaurants, shops and so easy to get around - adorable boutique hotel - I had a great stay at Magnolia- excellent for the price! Staff is helpful and accommodating and speaks english fluently- They have a hostel too so its great if you need to leave bags and kill time after check out. I stayed in the king suite (up the 4 flights of stairs) but it was fine! the view is beautiful- the room was private and comfortable with A/C and a coffee maker. It has a noise machine which I used since I read a bunch of reviews about noise issues but I had no problems with outside noise.. I am a solo female traveler and felt completely safe in the area. Walkable to everything in Casco Viejo (so many restaurants and stores and the architecture is breathtaking!) I took an uber to the canal one day which was only $7 and everyone is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend taking the free tour of Casco Viejo. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice place. Rooms were very clean. Room had very needed A/C unit. Very comfortable.

Good location. There were cockroaches in the room, and it was not very clean. With some updates and cleaning, it could be a great place to stay.

Lo que más me gustó fue la cercanía a tiendas, restaurantes, bares, iglesias. El casco viejo es el mejor lugar para quedarse, por eso elegí magnolia inn. Los empleados amables. Atención muy buena. No hay desayuno pero si áreas comunes. No me gustó que en mi habitación no funcionó la televisión, el tanque del inodoro empezó a salirse el agua y encontré tres cucarachas en el baño y mesa. Estuve cuatro días pero no limpiaron ni sacaron basura en el tiempo de estadía. Aunque si encontré limpia la habitación cuando llegue. Tienen bodega con llave para dejar las maletas.

Hotel was just okay. Would I stay here again probably not. No up keep, not the cleanest of hotels. Sand in our sheets making me believe sheets were not changed. Old used coffee filters in coffee machine with no new coffee to use, room was on 3rd floor no elevators in case you are traveling with people with disabilities. Did have some views. Again was just ok, more like a fancy hostel!

Spotlessly clean and amazing location. This was our second stay at the Magnolia and I don't know that I'd stay anywhere else in Panama. Great value, highly recommended!

The location is in a very noisy area there was loud music until 4am every night; the guests were very loud and partied a lot and very disruptive and no staff helped. there was no room service; no one came to clean in the 5 days we were there. There is no elevator must walk up 5 flights of stairs

Wir waren in Zimmer 2, es hat so grausam nach SCHIMMEL gestunken, das wir nachts noch umgezogen sind.Morgens haben wir das Hotel gewechselt und unser Geld bar zurückbekommen, das fand ich o.k. Nie mehr wieder !!!

The first room we were in on first floor we could not sleep as the neighbors were playing loud music in the street. The front desk stated this occurs all the time and all they can do is call the police. They did this many times over 3 days. We liked the first floor room as the bathroom was in the room too. But could not stand the noise. When we came back at end of week we were on 3rd floor. There is no elevator so let’s just say our legs got a workout. Javier was amazing and brought our biggest luggage up for us. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was accross the hall. Tiny hot bathroom as no air conditioning in it and the shower was strange with a wood slat floor. The maids came up there to get stored linens and were noisy. One maid walked into our room even though a do not disturb sign was on door. I slipped on the floors in kitchen as it was just mopped but no sign put up to let me know. I will say the staff there were incredible. They make up for any shortcomings for sure.

I don’t leave poor reviews unless they are warranted. No cups nor tissues in the bedroom, bathroom was in the hallway, which was unexpected. No creamer for coffee, etc. It’s the little things that make us stay great this facility is missing all of the little things.

The lights in the room were insufficient. There was no light near the entry door, so you had to either turn on the light inside the bathroom or go near the beds where the only 2 lights were located. And those 2 lights were pendant lights which didn't even make enough light to light up the room.

Was not aware that there was no elevator and no bathroom in the room!! Bathroom in hallway is not acceptable. Poor choice for us.

Room was large, beds comfortable, great a/c. This is a basic hotel (no hairdryer, no cups, no elevator, etc) but the location can’t be beat.

The staff was incredible. Rooms are tiny with very little storage area. Great airconditioner

Wi-Fi wasn’t working, not as nice as the photos show it, no tv, no blackout curtain on street side window so when it’s dark out car headlights shine inside room. We found a hotel for $5 more that was twice as good with smart tv, balcony, mini fridge, room safe, better beds etc, etc!

So this is a budget property. Does what it says on the tin. A/c in room is fine - bed comfy - rooms small - bathroom even smaller. Like most of Casco no lifts to rooms. But for overnight - great location.

Great location in beautiful and vibrant Cosco Viejo. Comanagers Joseph and Simon were friendly and always willing to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions with rgard to dinind and things to do in the area.

Staff were so friendly on check-in, provided us with a complimentary room upgrade and lots of advice and suggestions for the city.

Great location and fairly comfortable. You were right in the middle of Casco Viejo, which is the best location in the area. You can easily reach all the great restaurants and shops. For budget travelers wanting to cook. They have a great kitchen and refrigerator and coffee in the morning with a balcony in the living room. It’s pretty cool. The only downsides we experienced was the girl working the day shift the front desk was very unfriendly. I never saw her smile once, and she would purposely sit there as you rang the bell and not let you in if you did not yet have the code or forgot the code. I watched people approach her with questions and she just was super unprofessional and unwelcoming to everybody. She just didn’t seem like she liked her job job. The evening front desk guy was really great and friendly and welcoming. Please give her some training !in customer service!Our room was had a large queen bed and a great shower, with one of those rain showerheads. The only bummer in the room is that none of the outlets worked except the ones in the bathroom so to charge our phones we had to lean them on the sink. There is no space in the bathroom for setting things down so we used the desk in the room for our toiletries. Also because the outlets were not working they hardlined the reading lights next to the beds into the ceiling so it was all or nothing. The room was super bright and you couldn’t have a reading light on. This area was great though !

Property was very good, clean and better than expected. What was not good - The airport to hotel taxi arrangement was messed up. Taxi was sent to Terminal 1 even though my flight details were provided and landed in Terminal 2. Taxi company tried to contact the taxi driver. I tried to contact the taxi driver too but no response. Finally, after an hours wait, the taxi company apologized and asked me to catch an Uber.

Fantastic staff

Well I ended up cancelling my trip, I contacted the hotel 36 hrs before my check in to request a refund, and they said NO. Obvi when I go back to Panama i wont be staying there, im glad I only paid $36 for the night, and used my expedia points (which I wont get back) just bc they didnt want to issue a refund.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions . The location was perfect !

I was a bit unhappy to find there was no elevator and I had booked a luxury room on the 3rd floor. Adrian told me he would be happy to help with my luggage but then he was able to switch some things around so I had a ground floor room. He still helped me with my luggage! He was very kind and helpful! Thanks for making my stay better!

The Desk manager in particular Joseph was great very knowledgeable, attentive , caring , it was like he owned the place he was that good .

Magnolia was close to all we wanted to see in Casco Vieja. Clean quiet and comfortable.

Magnolia Inn was the perfect place for us to stay while in Panama City. Centrally located in the heart of Casco Viejo, it is near great restaurants, tours, etc. The hot shower was glorious, especially after coming back from San Blas Islands still sticky from sunblock and sand. We loved having the common areas, especially the kitchen, to keep our leftovers and save some money on meals. I would definitely go back there next time I’m in Panama!

Had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Magnolia. My reservations were made on their website, without any difficulties, and my room was waiting for me. The property is located in the middle of the Caso Veijo area - very similar to the French Qtr. in NOLA. Great restaurants, bars and tourist gift shops are all over. The Panama Canal Museum, French Point and a couple of old churches are all within a very easy walk. All of my dinners were excellent and within a three-block walk from the hotel. I recommend staying here and would do so in the future

Location was fabulous, price was great. Room was clean and comfy. Wifi was everything I needed. They had a kitchen available that I didn't use so can't really comment on that. I had no concerns at all for my stay, it hit all the tick boxes for a great hotel.

From the moment i stepped inside the staff greeted me with open arms. Because I arrived early I stored my bags while I headed out for an early lunch and a drink. The location was great. One corner of the block offered a wine bar, the other corner a brewery, and right next door to that another great restaurant/bar. Two blocks beyond that there was a mini mart two minutes beyond that the laundromat .Made a few stops in the story and it had everything I needed to make my week long stay a bit more comfortable. I was on a side street so hearing any cars or people wasnt any issue. Location was the best. Walking distance from plenty of dining options and sites.

Nice Inn in Panama Antiguo with many of the tourist attractions within walking distance. The room and bed were comfortable. Importantly, the staff (Vicki and her colleagues) are great- cheerful and helpful. There is Tantalos next door with good food, and you get a discount on BF if you stay at Magnolia. Overall a very good experience.

El cuarto super lindo y la cama muy comoda, el.problema es que el aure acondicionado hace mucho ruido. Seria genial si tuviera un restaurante al menos para un pequeño desayuno, pero es mas tipo hostal.
