This is a most impressive hotel with welcoming and professional staff, lovely rooms and a superb breakfast (it's a long time since I've had a fried egg in a hotel breakfast buffet). The room was spacious, comfortable and well soundproofed and also with very good blackout blinds. As mentioned, there is no car parking on site, but the municipal car park is a minute's walk away and is safe and inexpensive (there is also a shopping centre car park a five-minute walk away). We will certainly be back here.

Wir waren für ein Konzert in Kempten. Das BigBox Allgäu Hotel liegt super zentral in Kempten, direkt neben der Veranstaltungshalle. Es gibt vom Hotel aus einen eigenen und direkten Zugang zur Veranstaltungshalle, exklusiv nur für Hotelgäste. Das ist wirklich mega, keine Warteschlange, keine lästige Jacke oder frieren beim Anstehen 1+++. Die Mitarbeiter/innen am Empfang und Restaurant waren sehr freundlich. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind modern und haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse im 2. OG, die Dachterrasse war das Flachdach der Konferenzräume im 1. OG. Ausblick war leider nur die Seitenwand der Konzerthalle. Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut und reichhaltig. Es gab Herzhaftes und Süßes, eine tolle Auswahl und es wurde laufend nachgefüllt. . Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt dafür, dass das Hotel nicht über einen eigenen Parkplatz verfügt.

Wir machen hier immer einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg nach Italien. Das Hotel ist klasse und das Frühstück hervorragend. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen und bietet eine gute Auswahl an Restaurants. Ein großes Parkhaus ist vis à vis zum Hotel.

Das bigBox liegt nicht weit von der Stadtmitte enfernt. Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte im Hotel. Unser Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber - so wi das gesamte Hotel - sauber. Der Zimmerservice arbeitete gründlich. Freundlichkeit wird im Hotel groß geschrieben. Eine Kleinigkeit: In 4☆-Hotels sind wir es gewohnt, Tageszeitungen auch kurzfristig auf das Zimmer nehmen zu können, ohne dass man auf eine Bezahlung dieser mehrmals hingewiesen wird.

Das Hotel ist wirklich überragend. 800 m vom Zentrum, gegenüber ein großes Einkaufszentrum. Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Kann man wirklich beruhigt weiterempfehlen! Wenn wir wieder nach Kempten kommen, nehmen wir bestimmt wieder das bigBOX Allgäu Hotel!

Our 9the stay and it’s always a good one. The fact we can bring our dog is a bonus, safe parking is helpful for us too. Every visit is enjoyable, it’s centrally located and the staff are excellent. If there’s 1 thing I’d change it’s the pillows. I find them terribly uncomfortable, but that could just be me. Clean and comfortable overall and fantastic food on offer for breakfast.

Have stayed here so many times and have had brilliant service so it was a shock that checking out this time was a bit of a nightmare. We were just leaving our room at 11:08 when the phone rang, it was reception saying we were late checking out. Clearly stated on my reservation was noon. Arrived at reception and tried to explain why we didn’t vacate before 11:00 to be told that I was wrong and that check out was 11:00 See attached photo as proof. Not only did they mention a payment for late check out they then tried to charge me for the room that had already paid for when I booked. I understand that confusion happens but please address it with more consideration of your guest. Also please get some firmer pillows. I ask every visit. Still a fab hotel, all the other staff we’ve ever encountered have been courteous and accommodating and you always offer the best breakfast.

Très bel hôtel, au calme , bien décoré , il a tout pour plaire mais le point négatif, c est la literie.. le lit double était de 140 cm mais le pire c'est le matelas, vieux , très vieux, il était creux au milieux. Franchement pas top pour passer une bonne nuit. C'est dommage, car même le resto et le petit dej sont top. J'y reviendrais certainement, mais je prendrais une chambre avec 2 lits.. peut-être que j'aurais plus de chance point de vue literie.

Location is excellent: shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. 10 minutes walk to the old town and tourist attractions. Helpful staff. Standard doble room with terrace is quite tight. Double bed is just ok although a small double size. There was a very small wardrobe with only few hangers and one shelf only. There were no other cabinets for clothes. Modern bathroom. However, there's a lack of some privacy due to its glass walls.

Nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück. Die Zimmer (Doppelzimmer) waren allerdings viel zu klein und die Betten würde ich nicht als Doppelbetten bezeichnen. Da liegt man Schulter an Schulter.

We always stay here when we visit Kempten. The hotel is very well run and offers a great choice of rooms. We usually book a garden room which is big enough for the two of us and our small dog. The rooms are comfy and clean, the staff welcoming, friendly and very professional. Breakfast is amazing with so much choice and it is frequently topped up so very fresh. If I could change one thing it would be the pillows as I find them not very good.

Arrived at reception and tried to explain why we didn’t vacate before 11:00 to be told that I was wrong and that check out was 11:00 See attached photo as proof. Not only did they mention a payment for late check out they then tried to charge me for the room that had already paid for when I booked. I understand that confusion happens but please address it with more consideration of your guest. Also please get some firmer pillows. I ask every visit. Still a fab hotel, all the other staff we’ve ever encountered have been courteous and accommodating and you always offer the best breakfast.

Wir waren für ein Konzert in Kempten. Das BigBox Allgäu Hotel liegt super zentral in Kempten, direkt neben der Veranstaltungshalle. Es gibt vom Hotel aus einen eigenen und direkten Zugang zur Veranstaltungshalle, exklusiv nur für Hotelgäste. Das ist wirklich mega, keine Warteschlange, keine lästige Jacke oder frieren beim Anstehen 1+++. Die Mitarbeiter/innen am Empfang und Restaurant waren sehr freundlich. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind modern und haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse im 2. OG, die Dachterrasse war das Flachdach der Konferenzräume im 1. OG. Ausblick war leider nur die Seitenwand der Konzerthalle. Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut und reichhaltig. Es gab Herzhaftes und Süßes, eine tolle Auswahl und es wurde laufend nachgefüllt. . Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt dafür, dass das Hotel nicht über einen eigenen Parkplatz verfügt.

Das Hotel ist wirklich überragend. 800 m vom Zentrum, gegenüber ein großes Einkaufszentrum. Zimmer sind sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Kann man wirklich beruhigt weiterempfehlen! Wenn wir wieder nach Kempten kommen, nehmen wir bestimmt wieder das bigBOX Allgäu Hotel!

We always stay here when we visit Kempten. The hotel is very well run and offers a great choice of rooms. We usually book a garden room which is big enough for the two of us and our small dog. The rooms are comfy and clean, the staff welcoming, friendly and very professional. Breakfast is amazing with so much choice and it is frequently topped up so very fresh. If I could change one thing it would be the pillows as I find them not very good.

Our 9the stay and it’s always a good one. The fact we can bring our dog is a bonus, safe parking is helpful for us too. Every visit is enjoyable, it’s centrally located and the staff are excellent. If there’s 1 thing I’d change it’s the pillows. I find them terribly uncomfortable, but that could just be me. Clean and comfortable overall and fantastic food on offer for breakfast.

Das Hotel ist sensationell. Was für mich nicht ok war, das bestellte Tartar im Restaurant war angemacht mit Kernen und einem Dressing. Der Fleischgeschmack war leider nicht mehr zu erahnen. Leider und schade für so ein teures Produkt. Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr empfehlenswert und klasse. Da passt wirklich alles, bis auf die nicht vorhandenen eigenen Parkplätze. Aber man findet etwas in der nahen Umgebung. Man kann sein Gepäck vor dem Hotel ausladen und woanders parken. Ein paar Minuten laufen schadet niemanden. Von da aus erreicht man auch alles bequem zu Fuss.

I have stayed in Kempten a number of times for business purposes the last 2 years and tried various hotels. I tend to come back to Big Box as it for me is easily the best hotel in Kempten. Very helpful and friendly personnel in the reception and restaurant. Always well maintained and excellent breakfast as well as one of those few business hotel restaurants you also want enjoy a very good dinner or lunch at.
