Friendly staff, property has a lot of stairs so not friendly for people with mobility issues. Could do with a little refurbishment for example having door handle on the inside as it makes locking the door difficult, also the windows have an air gap so cold air comes through, but great place for the price. Good breakfast.

A nice, budget hotel only 2 minutes walk from the medina entrance. Rooms are basic but very clean and the staff is helpful and very friendly. There is a veranda with common outdoor seating on both levels of this hotel.

El hotel esta Bien ubicación, muy buena atención, los desayunos son muy buenos. Pero las instalaciones en general estan regulares.

Sehr nettes Personal, praktisch veranlagt. Süßes Zimmer mit Bad und Dachterrasse, täglich gereinigt. Wegen Baustelle ggü war WiFi nicht vorhanden und TV durch Vormieter defekt. Von 4 Steckdosen funktionierten 2. Im Schrank könnte Stange+Bügel oder Regalböden das Ordnern von Kleidung verbessern. Habe mich da sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an A+B Marita

The best decision I made this place was close to everything even meeting points for day trips super nice people Ibrahim was the best on site aid I could ever ask for. He helped me with my arabic, getting around, offered me tea, and helped me get a cab on the way home. The terrace was a great place to eat breakfast nice views and honestly the best riad hands down. I think this place doesn’t get enough credit, but if you are a traveler who needs a convienet place to stay amazing breakfast, not super far away or around the tourist traps this is the one. If you need an aesthetically pleasing riad with mediocre food and fountain this isnt for you and that's ok. Save this hidden gem for true travelers. We booked a double room based on the online pictures and description. The taxi driver had a hard time finding the property since it doesn't even have a name. Once there, we were greeted by 2 steep staircases and nobody to assist with the luggage. We managed to reach the "reception area" which was nothing but a filthy and dark room with the telephone on the floor, cables hanging, and a couch incredibly gross. After seeing that, we asked to see our room and were shocked when the manager took us to a dungeon with the most disgusting bathroom I've ever seen. It had nothing to do with the room we booked. The sink was miniscule loose and clogged,the shower was moldy and dirty, TV was broken, AC was weak, sheets so thin that the mattress was visible. Closet falling apart. No towels, no water bottles and sleepers as advertised. We begged for a decent room like the one they show on their website. All of a sudden the manager started to have difficulty speaking English so I spoke with the owner on the phone who with a rude attitude told me to take it or leave it. I asked him to refund my money and he agreed to do it. Since it was already 8 pm and we were tired in a country new to us, we decided to spend that night there and move the next day to another place. In the morning, we had a good breakfast talked with the manager who once again promised they would refund the 2 nights we didn't use, and left to a nice hotel. To this day they haven't made a refund or responded my email.See pics

La habitación sucia, no tenía grifo en la ducha, lo tuvieron q arreglar pero después de dos días allí sin ducharnos, teníamos q pedir toallas y algún día no la tenían, la habitación fría y tuvimos q reclamar una manta, nos la dieron sucia, llegamos y no nos esperaban estuve en la puerta 1/2 hora hasta q la prepararan, no había botellines de agua, el secador de pelo roto y el aire acondicionado estaba roto, las alfombras muy sucias no se podía apoyar los pies Solicito devolución de parte del dinero, ya q no fue lo tratado, nos tuvimos q ir unos días al desierto para poder respirar un poco de tanto mal olor q tenia la habitación Espero una respuesta, gracias.

On en a pour son argent Point très positifs : personnel très sympa, très bon petit déjeuner et emplacement parfait Cependant, la chambre ne disposais pas de fenêtre donc très sombre , une seule lumière sur les trois disponible , les deux autres en panne. Pas d’eau dans la douche au début, puis un débit très faible et des coupures d’eau chaude, oreillers tout petit et confort du lit très faible … Ceci dit, le prix de la location restait très interessant donc impeccable pour petit budget , mais confort en conséquence

Situation excellente versus aéroport et lieux à connaître . Accueil extrêmement agréable . Propreté irréprochable . Mais ….. vétusté des équipements et quelques bruits de proximité .

O responsável pelo hotel foi atencioso conosco,disponibilizando a geladeira do hotel para utilizarmos;o hotel é bem localizado, perto dos melhores pontos turísticos. A minha insatisfação foi em relação a internet, bem precária mesmo. Outro ponto de insatisfação era que o café da manhã nunca foi servido no horário que nos foi informado (8:00h), 2 dias eu acordei o responsável pelo hotel para que ele fosse organizar o café da manhã. Portanto, se precisar tomar o café da manhã cedo, isso será um problema.

J'avais pris une chambre triple pour ma nièce et moi. Chambre correcte mais bruyante car donnant sur l'avenue, et air conditionné marchant mal. Salle de bain petite et peu pratique pour 85€.

La chambre double proposée quand nous sommes arrivés était très décevante pour 65€ (chambre aveugle donnant sur le hall donc bruyante, petite salle de bain). face à ma déconvenue, Ibrahim nous a placé dans une chambre très agréable dans un Riad voisin possédé par le même propriétaire.

Good location, close to main attractions. Staff was very accommodating, welcoming, very friendly. I'm a female solo traveler and felt very safe there. The breakfast is included and it was great. At the time of my visit there was construction happening across the street but I could barely hear it because the riad is very quiet inside. I had very good sleep and was satisfied with my room. I would stay there again when I go back to Marrakech. Thank you for making my stay perfect!

Det er et billigt hotel! Det man får for pengene er en glimrende seng i et traditionelt marrokansk hotel. Helt ok morgenmad, søde og imødekommende personale og central beliggenhed. Lær at leve med det elendigt indrettede badeværelse, ‘wi-fy’ der virkede langsomt, da det på fjerdedagen endelig kom igang. Stol på personalet når de organiserer udflugter, hamam og taxi, de skal nok passe på dig. Det er vanskeligt, når regnen gør, at du må sidde på sengen med din morgenmads bakke på skødet …det regner jo ikke så ofte.

Janat Salam is an excellent hotel. The staff is excellent and took care of myself and my family. The staff especially Younes, Yusuf and Fatima are all excellent and good at their jobs. The hotel is walking distance to the main square(Jema Al fna) and all the shopping can be done very close so is conveniently located . The hotel has air Conditioning in each room which was important to me. All in all I had a great experience of this hotel and next time I came back will definitely come back to Janat Salam.
