Looked modern and clean inside and our stay was quite pleasant. The comforter could have been thicker, but we just turned up the temperature. Snow was shoveled promptly and outside kept nice

Nice clean room and friendly staff. Would recommend to the hotel staff to have filtered curtains. The only choice was to have blackout blinds closed, or to have no privacy. Curtains would allow for light to come in but to have privacy as well. The traffic from the highway was also very loud so headsup for any light sleepers.

Appeared to be clean and had a recent low end renovation. Lacking some basic things, like nowhere to set anything in the bathroom or no lamps at desk or bedside, only overhead pocket lights. On the safety aspect, no deadbolt or any other positive closure device on entry door. No grab bar or any other safety bar at tub enclosure. Weak unsecure Wifi. Ok if you want nothing more than a place to get off the road.

It was the best room on our travel across canada so far, and the price was right, very clean and comfortable as well. One item could be added, grab bars would be nice, the tub is slippery when wet. We did enjoy our stay. Thank you very much.

decent price for a nice room. You are right on the Trans Canada hwy so don't be surprised by trucks running all night. Actually found it relaxing in a way. Deep River is a picturesque town on the Ottawa river and hub of the story of nuclear power in Canada. The outdoor and recreational opportunities are many are varied. Sam's food truck, located at the motel, has some great eats at a reasonable price. My wife really enjoyed the fish and chips calling the batter light and tasy. The gravy on the poutine with real curd was very tasty and protions were nice size. Also checked out Godfather's Pizza and definitely very good pizza!
