Renaissance Santiago by Marriott

The Guest Lounge was understaffed outside the happy hour and basics like coffee milk and water unavailable. It is offensive to expect guest to pay for a coffee in their room. The room service was average. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were friendly.

Lindo hotel muy comodo, buen servicio, casi nos quedamos sin spa porque no quedaban horas, sin embargo nos permitieron usar las instalaciones ya que nos quedabamos solo un dia. Reservar por hotel.com no me gusto, mejor reservar por otras app ya que el monto total no era el verdadero total sino que habia que pagar iva... al final salia mas conveniente paginas como booking.

We found the hotel was lovely and comfortable, but lacking with the level of service that we expected. We were on the 12th floor and had access to the executive lounge. The evening cocktails and snacks were quite nice but in the morning it was absolutely impossible to get a cup of coffee. Either the access was not open at 6:30 AM when it was supposed to be, or when it was, I found the coffee maker to be inoperable and sometimes not even plugged in and ready to dispense coffee.. I called the front desk to ask that additional coffee be brought up to our room so I could use our own coffee maker, but was told That we were only entitled to one complementary serving per stay. I really did not think this was good customer service at this level of hotel. I found the staff to be pleasant, but at no time did I feel they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Everything was quite slow, and our housekeeping service was very inconsistent. One day we would have excellent cleanup, only to find the next day a very different story. I would like to give a better rating to this hotel, but I cannot at this time. The surrounding area is excellent with a Shopping Mall, a couple of blocks away and access to many restaurants and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was also quite good, and I would highly recommend that they obtain English menus for the American customers.

Buenas Tardes Tal como escribí en el libro de reclamos y que supuestamente sería contactada al día siguiente, les comento mi pésima experiencia. Reservé a través de Hoteles.com con un valor de 169 dólares + casi 30.000 que pagué por concepto de impuestos en el lugar. Llamé al call center el día anterior, viernes 9 para confirmar el horario de la piscina. Vivo en Santiago y nuestro interés era pasar un rico fin de semana en la piscina y sobrevivir del calor. Hasta ahí todo bien. Al momento del check in me indican que ese día la piscina no estaba operativa. Algo que NUNCA mencionaron el día anterior cuando llamé para chequear horario. Que iría el "Gerente" a entregar alguna solución. Al rato llega (creo que) Vicente, a escuchar lo que nosotros ya habíamos comentado y vería que podía hacer. Le solicité estar en la piscina 30 minutos mientras el buscaba alguna solución y en el lugar movían y preparaban todo para el matrimonio. Cuando llega me indica que la solución es un acceso al lounge. No entendiendo que nuestra descanso iba enfocado a otra cosa. Insistiendo además que el hotel estaba haciendo una excepción al entregarnos el acceso al lounge. No puedo creer la poca empatía y que no se entendiera desde ese cargo, la pésima experiencia que estábamos viviendo como huésped. Insistí en que autorizara el poder quedarnos el domingo hasta mas tarde en la piscina. Esperé más de 1 hora y nunca se acercó a entregar una respuesta ni disculpa por lo que estábamos pasando.

Se nota que esta en fase de mejoras , la carta del bar es pobre, casi no tenian espumantes, no habia champagne, room service bien, reposicion de mini bar nunca se hizo. Executive launch bueno Nota 5.8 de 7

The bell hop Claudius and the van driver were amazingly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. There was cucumber and melon water was very refreshing but the glasses were slow to be replenished

Hotel muito bem localizado, decoração bonita, quarto amplo e confortável. A limpeza pecou um pouco, nada grave, e o atendimento na recepção foi um pouco abaixo do esperado para o nível do hotel.

Location is prime, clean and comfort.

Excelente hotel. Boa localização, em frente ao melhor shopping de Santiago e próximo dos melhores restaurantes. Quarto muito limpo e novo. Bom espaço. Retornaria com certeza.

Hôtel bien situé. Rien d'extraordinaire au global, mais pas grand chose à redire non plus. Bon hôtel, propre et agréable. Hôtel agréable pour un passage rapide sur la capitale.

Estivemos por 3 noites em familia. Tivemos um boa recepção, café da manhã excelente, o quarto estava limpo, bem confortavel. Bom sono e bom atendimento por todos do hotel. Uma sugestão: Deixar agua todos os dias no quarto.

Apesar de se classificar como um hotel 5 estrelas o hotel fica no máximo em um 4 estrelas. O atendimento é básico e faltam básicos de 5 estrelas. Falta desde uma atenção maior no check in, até uma atenção maior no check out. a arrumação do quarto deixa a desejar, esqueceram de trocar as toalhas e de recolocar os copos. O café da manhã é bom e a localização é boa.

The experience was exceptional. The decor and amenities were far beyond my expectations. This hotel is highly recommended. It is an excellent choice for a stay in Chile.

Chegamos as 4 da manhã, ficamos esperando ate as 6 da manhã para que resolvessem o problema que foi criado entre falta de comunicação de hoteis.com e do hotel. Tivemos que pagar uma outra diária para que pudéssemos nos hospedar.

Nonostante abbia prenotato e pagato in anticipo, nonostante abbia avvisato per iscritto che sarei arrivato tardi, quando mi sono presentato, la mia camera non c’era. Mi hanno detto che si trattava di un disguido, ma non lo credo, infatti avevano la prenotazione per le notti successive. Mi hanno inviato ad un altro hotel, che avevano già prenotato per me…. È stato un disagio, perché quando si viaggia per lavoro e si hanno gli appuntamenti ed i voli scadenzati, perdere tempo e ore di sonno è fastidioso, soprattutto se sospetti che si siano rivenduti la camera già pagata in anticipo.

Es un hotel que todo te lo cobra por separado, tanto el check in como el check out muy lentos

Atterrato tardi, sono arrivato intorno a mezzanotte in hotel. Avevo avvisato qualche giorno prima di questa eventualità tramite il vostro sito e l’hotel mi aveva risposto che non c’erano problemi. Invece il problema c’è stato; la mia camera non c’era più; loro hanno parlato di un disguido, io ho dei sospetti più gravi, visto che avevo pagato il soggiorno in anticipo. Sta di fatto che per quella notte sono stato spedito in un altro hotel, che loro avevano già riservato (anche questo è sospetto). Di fatto sono andato a dormire molto tardi e non è bello quando viaggi per lavoro ed hai le giornate scadenziate tra riunioni e voli aerei. Il giorno seguente la mia camera era finalmente libera e sono potuto ritornare. Ho parlato con la responsabile che mi ha promesso che la notte passata fuori mi sarà rimborsata tramite hotel.com. Vedremo se sarà vero. Di fatto il rivendere le camere già prenotate e pagate non è degno di un hotel di questo genere

Restaurant service was uneven

El servicio fue bueno, la variedad del desayuno buena, lo mejor del desayuno es la selección de huevos. Habitación cómoda y confortable. Room Service 24 horas, pero muy pobre el menú, tienen mucho por mejorar en eso. El refrigerador de la habitación vacío, mal en ese aspecto.

The hotel was fine. The front desk dealt well with English speaking visitors, not as true in the restaurant.

Pésimo servicio. Es una lástima, ya que el hotel es cómodo y tiene una propuesta de diseño interesante, más el nivel de servicio del staff es tan deficiente que vuelven la experiencia simplemente intolerable. Jamás volvería a hospedarme en Renaissance Santiago. No lo recomiendo y no se dejen engañar, no tiene nada que ver con otros Renaissance a nivel mundial. Este es el "patito feo". 45 minutos para que te traigan una taza de café; 2 horas de retraso de servicio de room service; mesas mal montadas, etc etc etc.
