Rooms are pretty simple but comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Historic sites and very helpful staff

The receptionist was very helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and even made my husband an omelette for breakfast!

Very inconvenient parking area with extremely difficult access — and the worst part is only finding this out upon arrival. The staff texted me earlier asking what time we would arrive, assuring me that parking would be beside the hotel. When we got there, the street leading to the property ended in stairs. I had to leave the car in the middle of the road and walk to the hotel to ask for instructions, since this crucial information wasn’t given beforehand. To my surprise, nobody was there. A kind neighbor pointed me in the right direction, but the streets were so narrow that we ended up damaging the car against a wall. The frustration and stress were enormous, and we had to figure out by ourselves how to finally reach the parking lot. After 1.5 hours — in the dark and rain — we got our key under a flower pot (informed by msg once we arrived). No customer service, no assistance, no clear directions. On the positive side, the rooms are decent and have a charming medieval atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff we met in the morning were kind. Overall, I would not recommend this place and would not come back.

Maria was excellent. breakfast was a 10! parking is tough but happy they have reserved free parking onsite.
