Executive Inn

I would hope that a true executive could find accommodations more fitting for the title he/she holds. From no ice bucket to a frozen mini fridge, faucet that swiveled around and around on sink, hot water that worked occasionally, outside light gaps in door bottom and side which allowed two spiders and several fly's into the room space, flat screen that took two remotes to operate. This is a minimalist facility for those looking for a supposedly cheep room and definitely not worth the price paid. The manager was nice enough and polite but not very realistic on the description online or with your reservation company. They also have a rent by the week and month section as part of the facility with lawn chairs and garbage cans sitting outside the rooms.

the front of the hotel looked very trashy and unkept. there was a mess in the lobby and the desk clerk was dressed very unkept. overall, it appeared that the rooms must be rented by the hour. after I checked in and went to my room it took 5 try's to get the door lock to work. the room when entering looked like the picture. then when I went to the bathroom it was not all that the picture was. the door was very dirty and needed to be replaced, the shower did not drain properly, and you could see that there was black monl around the cracks that. the walls were painted as if repairs were recently done, and the paint color was very mismatched. cant say that I would ever stay at this location again and I think the name is very miss leading.

The desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. The parking access had so many potholes and a narrow bridge, it didn't feel safe. However, all the appliances worked and the bed was comfortable.

This property is undergoing renovations and looked questionable on the outside. Our room, however, on the inside was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

The manager running the property was nice. Room only had two towels and fresh towels weren't available for about 30min when we needed another towel so that was a bummer. Ice was available at the front - they were ice cube trays. Unfortunately the ice was not completely frozen yet so we grabbed a bag of ice from Walmart. The location was great, right next to walmart and several restaurants. 15min drive to Board camp Mine and the nice scenic drive. Nice place to stay for cheap. You get what you pay for.

The property was poorly maintained and run down. It’s actually in a good location. I had no problems and it was fairly cheap. But probably wouldn’t stay there again. The staff was friendly

Lobby dirty, cluttered, junky, stinky. Room needs lot of work. Hard to see place. Right on highway. Room stinks. Mattresses and bedding old

There are multiple families who seem to be living there full time. Children running around unsupervised. Ice machine has apparently been broken for years, but we still had an ice bucket in the room. Room was clean, but bathroom was not nice. Nowhere to hang clothes. In short, we were stunned at the appearance of the property. We would have never entertained staying there had we known what we were getting into. It seemed more like a tenement than a hotel. Staff was nice.

The people running the motel were so nice but the motel was dirty and run down. I woke up in the middle of the night the roach bugs were all over.

Bathroom floor was dirty behind the door. There were several cockroaches. Had to ask for tp and towels. Old food in the fridge and microwave. A man's dog was hit on the road. He was very distraught. Rather than offer any condolence kindness, the owner called the police.. 10/10 would avoid this place.

The good: registration staff were very friendly, the air conditioning kept the room cool, the facility is in close proximity to restaurants and shopping, and it is affordable. The bad: the room was dirty, the shower was pieced together with different types of building materials and dirty. Half used mini shampoo bottles were in the bathroom, a dirty wash rag draped over the shower curtain with many flies.

Bugs everywhere

While check in was a breeze and staff at the front desk was friendly, the facilities themselves were lacking - but this is also one of those you get what you pay for situations I suppose. The floors were dirty, a hoodie that fell on the floor was covered in fibers just from touching the floor so not sure when the last time it was vacuumed was. We saw one roach crawling on the tv and ended up killing one that crawled over my hand while asleep in bed. I wasn’t expecting anything incredible with the outside and the price point, but basic cleaning was even neglected in the room. Thankfully the sheets and bed did look and smell clean.

Room was disgusting. Stains on bed. Dog hair on sheets. Shower holding water. Sink has hair and bugs. We left after 15 mins of checking.

The first room was filthy, so we switched rooms. The second room was better, but still dirty. The floors & bathtub were the worst, but the beds were clean, which wasn’t the case for the 1st room. We are very, very disappointed.

It is clear that the owners are trying to make some property improvements, but I think the facility is just too far gone. The room was very "tired" even though they have done a few remodel things. The paint on the wall is grey with paint patching with a not-very-close different shade of grey slapped on in several places. the floors had not been swept in some time; obvious because of the dust bunnies behind the doors. I am not sure what stain was on the back of the entrance door. The shower was temperamental to say the least. I still don\'t know how we got the shower to a decent temperature but once one of us got it to not scald us, we just left it on until the other of us got into the shower. The ceiling tile was a few different shades of white; some of the lights were not plugged in, the TV worked for the most part etc. etc. etc. On the positive side, the sheets were clean and I think the bedspread was new. Oh, and the train coming by a few times that night didn\'t help.

Room had newer floors but had not been swept and mopped well. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable but bedding was queen size on king bed. TV channels did not come in very clearly. Overal just for one night it worked

This is a standard motor inn but remodelled with quiet air conditioners, very comfortable beds, clean, and roomy. Plumbing/shower worked great... with a rainfall shower head! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Mena and the Talimena Scenic Trail.

Convenient location for fast food and with Walmart next door made it easy for finding something to eat, Road noise in the late evening made it noisy.

Comfortable bed. Looks like updated but could use touch ups. No hooks in bathroom to hang clothes or towels. Great tv.

Friendly and helpful staff. We met my sister and brother-in-law, who stayed in the room next door. Their room had obvious signs that someone in the past had broken into the place (door jam was disfigured, chain lock had been broken off and just barely re-attached, etc.). Also, the shower head was a huge square with maybe 200 or more spray holes. This would be fine if the water pressure were adequate for it. However, it allowed for only a wide drip for a shower: very difficult to rinse shampoo out of your hair or remove soap from your body. I did enjoy talking with the manager, who was attentive and eager to supply soap, towels, etc. as needed.

Staff was friendly and fast. Property is located beside a Walmart, which was very convenient. The property was clean, but our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Decent lodging for the price.

Bugs crawling in bathroom. Shower in bad repair. Tub bottom very slick when wet, I was afread I would slip and fall. The bed was uncomfortable. The door lock looked like someone had broken in, not a safe feeling.

Don’t let the parking lot fool you. The room was large and very clean. The bed linens were of high quality and the bed was comfortable. The shower had a “rainfall” shower head. The television was a nice size with Direct TV cable. I enjoyed my 3-day stay.

It was a spacious room, big tv, clean room. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were very thin and kept coming off the mattress at night. Other than that, no complaints. Great value and would stay again.

None of the electrical plugs in the room would work. I was unable to charge my phone. Tv was very limited with channels to watch. most of what I wanted to see, would not work. Shower was not relaxing at all. It needed a massage head.

The service was great the person checked us in at Midnight I had called ahead to let him know. Only thing that got us was check out we had to just leave our key and go. Maybe think more into that.

Pete is very nice and truly accommodating. I love this place. I was waiting on my camper to arrive and have my dog. It's pet friendly.

Staff was polite and professional. Quite and clean

Showed up to the hotel about 8:15. Was in the lobby with a huge dog barking and growling. Attendant showed up and didn’t have the rooms I reserved. Went back to the rooms. One was fine the other had dirty sheets and looked like they was just selected in. We asked for new sheet and when we pulled them back there was blood stains on the matress. Said we was leaving and they offered another room finally. Will not go back. I go to that area twice a year will never go back to this place again. Didn’t get any sleep because people was running around between rooms all night.

Pete is awesome! Room was clean and comfortable. All staff that I met was friendly and courteous.

For $163 a night the towels and bedding should have been of much better quality and quanity. The towels were thin and scratchy. You could practically see through the sheets. There were no hangers in the room. The furniture was old, outdated, and ugly. NOTHING like the pictures on site. The guy at the counter acted like signing us in was an interruption of his day. We travel through Mena about once a year. We will never stay at this place again.

We came for a business trip. Upon check-in, we had excellent customer service. The front desk clerk was able to give us up-to-date information on what was going on in town and what were the good restaurants to go eat. Once we got to the room, it seemed recently Updated. The beds were exceptionally comfortable when we come back in a few months to do another meeting we will definitely stay at the same property..

Needed a place to stay while traveling on business. Great location for my needs. On the main strip of town. Close to Walmart and the areas available restaurants. Check in process was quick. Very large and clean room with a comfortable bed. Property is dated but you can see they have been making a lot of improvements.

If you’re a backpacker looking for a reasonable priced place to stay before and after hiking into the Ouachita National Forest, this is the place with plenty of nearby restaurants. Friendly staff too.
