The property is very clean and staff are great. The beach and ocean are beautiful The lifeguards who handle setting up beach umbrellas and cushions for chairs are wonderful. They get to know your habits and get things set up very quickly. If you like Reggae music and people watching The Boardwalk Village is right for you. Reggae plays all day and on some days bus loads of visitors come from the cruise ships. Imagine watching grandparent-aged people drink beer and smoke dope.

Beachfront location is wonderful with calm clear warm shallow water. There are no beachfront rooms despite the description. Food is great at the restaurant. Renovated suite was tall, spacious enough but could have used a chair. Beach is walkable both ways. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large old trees on the property and adjacent private property. Fireman's Lobster Pit nearby is the real deal with good side dishes as well. There is an off season for lobsters and this was not it!

The more I travel, the more I realize that one person's pros are another's cons, so here's a list of what my husband and I experienced. This was our 6th time to Jamaica, our 4th to Negil/7 Mile Beach. -Spacious room with AC, kitchenette, a selection of kitchenware, beach towels, TV -Clean, quiet beach area with more than enough beach loungers. Cushions/umbrellas/plastic tables are free for guests. -Excursion groups arrive around noon to enjoy the beach and leave by evening. -Many of the rooms are rented to Jamaican security, not tourists. -Many opportunities for water sports along the beach. -Limited shops/restaurants due to large all-inclusive resorts on either side. -Fewer beach vendors than the south end. -One trial-size shampoo, lotion, 2 soaps, and 2 rolls of TP provided. If you want more, you have to ask. -Shared outdoor seating on metal chairs and tables. -Road noise which can be drowned out with ceiling fan/AC. -Good food at the restaurant. Very cute little resort with easy access to the beach from the rooms. Food in the restaurant was great, service was slow. Overall nice and quiet when we were there except for some late night repairs being done outside out room and also it is close to the main road so you hear occasional loud engines.

We loved having the restaurant on property, an ATM machine on property, lots of chairs and space on the beautiful beach, the rooms were large and clean, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. It's our second visit to the resort and we will be sure to return. It also has the best lobster in town!

This property is right on the beach. The on site restaurant bar had a nice variety for breakfast lunch and dinner. They offer a shuttle service for an additional fee. The property is on 7 mile beach. Staff was very friendly, approachable, and attentive.

BEST place I have ever stayed!! The staff is absolutely FANTASTIC and everyone greets you with a smile throughout the day. The rooms are incredibly beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. Boardwalk is a smaller resort but this is the place to experience the real Jamaica! The resort is located right on the sand beach and the open air restaurant offers gorgeous views of the Caribbean and prepares excellent food! I will definitely return and stay here again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

First off this is my 4th different resort in Negril ive stayed. The Resort is nice, clean and safe. Because of the off season it was slow and the bar/kitchen staff showed, no smiles no laughing. Just dead inside really. They were more intrested in talking to each other then helping. So the room was great and close to the ocean. The bed is a bit hard but that's a personal opinion. Water in room was sometimes weak but didn't effect us much. The beach was nice and clean. The lifeguards are the most welcoming. So the food here is hit or miss. But the price's are not. They're is now a food tax and a service fee on all your bills. So plan on spending on avg $75 and up on most meals for two. And then they ask you to tip. The service fee goes to all staff so the service has slacked because of it. Coffee in the mornings here will cost you $5 us. And you have to pay for refills. So we just bought local coffee and requested a coffee maker for our room. They have a snack shop on site but plan on spending alot for very little. If you need a ride into town, walk out tge front and across the street and there will be a taxi that will only charge you a few bucks to go to the store. Don't let them get you a driver!! For dinner we went to Jamwest just down the beach. Its expensive but at least the food and atmosphere are nice. This will probably be my last trip to Jamaica. It seems that everyone you talk to, walk past or even the local stores are just trying to get ever dollar then can.

Well we chose the broadwalk as we had visited her 7 years ago and ate daily breakfast and lunch here. Also this place is well known for their lobster.the food is amazing and well priced. The lobster is to die for…. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and all staff where professional and welcoming. Really lovely environment. We will definitely go back. Thank you to Elaine and all of the staff that made our stay enjoyable 🤗

Everyone was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. They were so nice to our kids. The rooms were really clean and well kept. The hotel taxi drivers were great. We had everything we needed. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your food.

Beachfront location is wonderful with calm clear warm shallow water. There are no beachfront rooms despite the description. Food is great at the restaurant. Renovated suite was tall, spacious enough but could have used a chair. Beach is walkable both ways. Staff very friendly and helpful. Large old trees on the property and adjacent private property. Fireman's Lobster Pit nearby is the real deal with good side dishes as well. There is an off season for lobsters and this was not it!

Love this place! I feel like you get to experience more of the culture. The hospitality staff was very attentive. The rates are reasonable too. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures on the site.The one thing that I wasn't happy with was the shower. The pressure was a bit low and the water never got hot.

The more I travel, the more I realize that one person's pros are another's cons, so here's a list of what my husband and I experienced. This was our 6th time to Jamaica, our 4th to Negil/7 Mile Beach. -Spacious room with AC, kitchenette, a selection of kitchenware, beach towels, TV -Clean, quiet beach area with more than enough beach loungers. Cushions/umbrellas/plastic tables are free for guests. -Excursion groups arrive around noon to enjoy the beach and leave by evening. -Many of the rooms are rented to Jamaican security, not tourists. -Many opportunities for water sports along the beach. -Limited shops/restaurants due to large all-inclusive resorts on either side. -Fewer beach vendors than the south end. -One trial-size shampoo, lotion, 2 soaps, and 2 rolls of TP provided. Very cute little resort with easy access to the beach from the rooms. Food in the restaurant was great, service was slow. We loved having the restaurant on property, an ATM machine on property, lots of chairs and space on the beautiful beach, the rooms were large and clean, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. It's our second visit to the resort and we will be sure to return. It also has the best lobster in town!

BEST place I have ever stayed!! The staff is absolutely FANTASTIC and everyone greets you with a smile throughout the day. The rooms are incredibly beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. Boardwalk is a smaller resort but this is the place to experience the real Jamaica! The resort is located right on the sand beach and the open air restaurant offers gorgeous views of the Caribbean and prepares excellent food! I will definitely return and stay here again! The Boardwalk Village is a cute little hideaway in a great location. The rooms are nicely appointed. I one hiccup, but they quickly addressed it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate visiting again.

A truly homely place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and clearly made with care. The view was absolutely fabulous—perfect for a relaxing meal or quiet getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the charm of the experience. It's locally owned and clearly well kept, which gives it a genuine and personal touch. Highly recommended!

The property is very clean and staff are great. The beach and ocean are beautiful The lifeguards who handle setting up beach umbrellas and cushions for chairs are wonderful. They get to know your habits and get things set up very quickly. If you like Reggae music and people watching The Boardwalk Village is right for you. Reggae plays all day and on some days bus loads of visitors come from the cruise ships. Imagine watching grandparent-aged people drink beer and smoke dope.

This property is right on the beach. The on site restaurant bar had a nice variety for breakfast lunch and dinner. They offer a shuttle service for an additional fee. The property is on 7 mile beach. Staff was very friendly, approachable, and attentive.

First off this is my 4th different resort in Negril ive stayed. The Resort is nice, clean and safe. Because of the off season it was slow and the bar/kitchen staff showed, no smiles no laughing. Just dead inside really. They were more intrested in talking to each other then helping. So the room was great and close to the ocean. The bed is a bit hard but that's a personal opinion. Water in room was sometimes weak but didn't effect us much. The beach was nice and clean. The lifeguards are the most welcoming. So the food here is hit or miss. But the price's are not. They're is now a food tax and a service fee on all your bills. So plan on spending on avg $75 and up on most meals for two. And then they ask you to tip. The service fee goes to all staff so the service has slacked because of it. Coffee in the mornings here will cost you $5 us. And you have to pay for refills. So we just bought local coffee and requested a coffee maker for our room. They have a snack shop on site but plan on spending alot for very little. If you need a ride into town, walk out tge front and across the street and there will be a taxi that will only charge you a few bucks to go to the store. Don't let them get you a driver!! For dinner we went to Jamwest just down the beach. Its expensive but at least the food and atmosphere are nice. This will probably be my last trip to Jamaica. It seems that everyone you talk to, walk past or even the local stores are just trying to get ever dollar then can.

Everyone was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. They were so nice to our kids. The rooms were really clean and well kept. The hotel taxi drivers were great. We had everything we needed. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your food.

This was our 6th time to Jamaica, our 4th to Negil/7 Mile Beach. -Spacious room with AC, kitchenette, a selection of kitchenware, beach towels, TV -Clean, quiet beach area with more than enough beach loungers. Cushions/umbrellas/plastic tables are free for guests. -Excursion groups arrive around noon to enjoy the beach and leave by evening. -Many of the rooms are rented to Jamaican security, not tourists. -Many opportunities for water sports along the beach. -Limited shops/restaurants due to large all-inclusive resorts on either side. -Fewer beach vendors than the south end. -One trial-size shampoo, lotion, 2 soaps, and 2 rolls of TP provided. If you want more, you have to ask. -Shared outdoor seating on metal chairs and tables. -Road noise which can be drowned out with ceiling fan/AC. -Good food at the restaurant. Service was average to inattentive depending on who was working. -Responsive e-mail communication. -Coffee is $5/mug. No refills unless eating breakfast in the restaurant. -The room is cleaned daily but the sheets are not changed.

A truly homely place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and clearly made with care. The view was absolutely fabulous—perfect for a relaxing meal or quiet getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the charm of the experience. It's locally owned and clearly well kept, which gives it a genuine and personal touch. Highly recommended!

We loved having the restaurant on property, an ATM machine on property, lots of chairs and space on the beautiful beach, the rooms were large and clean, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. It's our second visit to the resort and we will be sure to return. It also has the best lobster in town!

BEST place I have ever stayed!! The staff is absolutely FANTASTIC and everyone greets you with a smile throughout the day. The rooms are incredibly beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. Boardwalk is a smaller resort but this is the place to experience the real Jamaica! The resort is located right on the sand beach and the open air restaurant offers gorgeous views of the Caribbean and prepares excellent food! I will definitely return and stay here again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The room was very comfortable and very clean. I am a tea drinker so i was very well taken care of, the staff are 5 star very warm and welcoming. I am female travelling solo so i frlt well taken care of and breakfast was the boss with regreshing fruit on the side. Very nice i will stay again it wasnt on the 7 mile so a cab ride s Away from koas. Slept goooood after their knock out rum punch..

This beautiful beachside hotel was colorful and uniquely designed to bring in a bright and colorful Jamaican inspired welcoming atmosphere. Your greeted by well kept grounds, a small cute koi pond with turtles and a beautiful view of the ocean as you walk toward the large bar/restaurant on the premises. The beach was clean with ample beach chairs and staff was very accommodating. Check-in was easy and the young woman in the office was extremely nice and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was a suitable size but our only suggestion is to add a higher threshold in the shower so the water does not flow over to the rest of the bathroom. Otherwise, it was very comfortable and a small fridge was even provided for us after check-in. The bartenders were pleasant and the food and drinks were very good. My family and I will definitely be back!
