Guesthouse da Idolina dal 1946

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Our host was incredibly kind, greeting us early to get us out of the pouring rain. She was very thorough in recommending local places of interest and even provided umbrellas for our time in Montalcino. The rooms themselves are impressive—exceptionally large, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean.

Felt like home. The central kitchen / coffee area felt like home.

The rooms were lovely and the building is in the heart of the historic centre. We arrived very early, on a Sunday morning, in the pouring rain. Our host was so gracious and because we were able to drop our bags, we could go exploring and find a coffee (just down the street) umbrellas were available for use. There were some stores open as well. We had dinner at San Giorgio . A great meal and service was impeccable. We went at 7 pm but it got really busy after that. I'd recommend Idolina House because of the historic significance, lovely decorated and spacious rooms and personable experience.

Excellent service, ideal location

The room met our expectations. Fulvia welcomed us and provided all info we needed. She was lovely and the room spacious and cosy. The location was perfect for our needs and we were very pleased.
