It was not a five star kind of feeling , no gym , spa was available, average breakfast and in your website it’s nothing mentioned that not open due to covid, so if you pay this much and don’t get any amenities then it’s a kind of overcharged.

I am utterly dismayed by my recent stay at The Lalit Chandigarh. This establishment falls tragically short of the five-star rating it claims. The service was abysmal, leaving me feeling neglected and frustrated throughout my stay. Despite the restaurants being overstaffed, it was nearly impossible to get anyone's attention for service. The waitstaff seemed utterly indifferent to the guests' needs. Room service was equally frustrating, with each order taking over an hour to arrive. The pool area was an absolute disgrace. Guests were openly flouting the rules, drinking beer and eating in the pool. Not only was this unsanitary, but it also created an unpleasant atmosphere for those seeking relaxation. To make matters worse, the hotel's bar staff actively encouraged this behavior by serving food and drinks directly to the pool. The pool attire situation was equally appalling. The lack of enforcement regarding proper swimwear resulted in guests swimming in their underwear. This blatant disregard for basic decency was offensive and made me incredibly uncomfortable. In conclusion, The Lalit Chandigarh is a far cry from a five-star hotel. The service is non-existent, the pool area is a chaotic mess, and the lack of enforcement regarding basic rules and etiquette is appalling. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

The property location is nice - feels the hotel is not well maintained with respect to the amenities. The hotel area is huge and can be smartly utilized- staff needs to hone their social skills, food is overpriced, variety and quality below average, no kids menu. The property should offer opulence and services for the price it is asking!

Extremely poor service of staff. Do not listen to requests, delay in everything. My experiences: 1. Room was not ready upon arrival, even at 4:30 PM when I arrived. 2. In room dining - I had to make 6 calls, order was not placed. Finally I called again 7th time snd still it took long. Took 1.5 hrs for in room dining to be deliver at night especially when I jad already gone to sleep. 3. Breakfast next morning - no professionalism, pointed to me to the table that was so far to even see. What happened to Indian hospitality?? To take your guest to the table and settle him in. Then when I got to my table, table was dirty from previous guest and had to call 3 times to clean. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay at The Lalit in Chandigarh. I will subsequently be putting feedback and reviews to all platforms. I was traveling from New York, USA and was shocked to see the service when I was expecting Indian hospitality. Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, it is a 5 star hotel and they live up to it. Yes a few bits in the room are a little worn but it’s more than made up for in terms of the rest of the property. Really enjoyable stay… great breakfast options …. Would defo stay again.

It was a bad experience at breakfast .. there was no cordination of staff .. the live egg station was being operated by a manner less and obnoxious lady … even after 40 minutes she did not serve my order & I had to leave. The GM was not available . Horrible

The hotel area is huge and can be smartly utilized- staff needs to hone their social skills, food is overpriced, variety and quality below average, no kids menu. It was not a five star kind of feeling , no gym , spa was available, average breakfast and in your website it’s nothing mentioned that not open due to covid, so if you pay this much and don’t get any amenities then it’s a kind of overcharged.

Extremely poor service of staff. Do not listen to requests, delay in everything. My experiences: 1. Room was not ready upon arrival, even at 4:30 PM when I arrived. 2. In room dining - I had to make 6 calls, order was not placed. Finally I called again 7th time snd still it took long. Took 1.5 hrs for in room dining to be deliver at night especially when I jad already gone to sleep. 3. Breakfast next morning - no professionalism, pointed to me to the table that was so far to even see. What happened to Indian hospitality?? To take your guest to the table and settle him in. Then when I got to my table, table was dirty from previous guest and had to call 3 times to clean. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay at The Lalit in Chandigarh. I will subsequently be putting feedback and reviews to all platforms. I was traveling from New York, USA and was shocked to see the service when I was expecting Indian hospitality. Forget hospitality, the staff did not even perform basic services for guests.

Ordered food from the kitchen and got uncooked chicken, we asked them to replace it and got chicken again which my husband ate and got sick for 2 days. This ruined our whole trip to Chandigarh and we could not get out of the room because of the food poisoning the food gave my husband. We eventually had to go to hospital to get some help with the food poisoning and spent a whole lot of money there as well for the treatment. Not a 5 start service as the hotel claims.

It was a bad experience at breakfast .. there was no cordination of staff .. the live egg station was being operated by a manner less and obnoxious lady … even after 40 minutes she did not serve my order & I had to leave. The GM was not available . Horrible

Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, it is a 5 star hotel and they live up to it. Yes a few bits in the room are a little worn but it’s more than made up for in terms of the rest of the property. Really enjoyable stay… great breakfast options …. Would defo stay again.

A nice hotel with good and quiet location. Rooms was ok. Staff was very helpful and room service was very fast. there is a night club in the basement, so on Friday and Saturday's it could be some loud music.

When i reached there they asked me for e-visa which was not told to me beforehand. Luckily i had it with me that time otherwise it could have been worse situation for me. Can u please let them know they should update it on their website so that more visitors should not face this kinda situation.
