Hard to find as entrance is through a coffee shop! No parking but a good car park about 5 mins walk away. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very small for 3 people but was ok for one overnight stay. Area a bit iffy 😕

The staff were very polite and accommodating. Rooms provided to us were clean and in very good condition. I particularly appreciated the shower cubicle; easy to use with good water pressure. The coffee shop was a pleasant surprise; good coffee and service; comforting ambiance of the layout, a quiet place to relax with family. I thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

Hotel is located a very short walk from Ilford station which affords a quick and easy access to Central London on Elizabeth Line. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurant around plus the hotel has one in the foyer Lovely, attentive staff. Nothing is too much to ask. Had my breakfast freshly cooked to order which was a nice touch. perfect. Will definitely return.

The description said free parking first come first served but in reality they only have 8 to 10 spaces approx then you have to park on the street but as it’s single yellow line only from 630 pm . If this was in the description I wouldn’t have stayed here .

Manager is efficient and fair with dealing with issues. For example, I’d asked for someone to remove a dirty old pair of underwear that was on the landing outside my window which was dealt with swiftly! I was also considering furthering my stay and he explained options clearly. On Expedia it did say “access to a nearby indoor pool” this was not the case and disappointed my 13 year old son somewhat as he loves to swim! I did not like the breakfast I’d brought from the cafe. Enjoyed the fresh orange juice. However the buffet breakfast which I saw in the morning did look nice. I really loved the placement and some of the designs of the mirrors around the hotel. Also, there were other design elements I liked. Overall decent stay. Thanks

On arrival i was told there was no parking for my car. When challenged, parking was found at a different location. When i arrived at the hotel to check in i was told to pay £100 deposit, which i was not aware of. At 1:30am the fire alarm went off and again at 7:30am, the fire alarm went off again. This disturbed me and my childrens sleep.

When booking I thought I was coming to stay at a Best Western hotel. Sadly it was Best Western by name only. The room small but was ok for a night. It was a little further out from central London than I thought but a little more research would of corrected this. There is no bar to enjoy a relaxing drink and your breakfast area is in the recpetion area. We booked breakfast thinking it was going to be a full english as photographed on their website. However cereal, toast, jams , fruit, cheese & hard boiled eggs was all that was on offer. If a full english was available we werent told. We were informed of breakfast times but nothing more than this. We arrived very late so at the time we werent aware that the reception area was our breakfast area, we werent told this either. Upon arrival they take a deposit which im ok with. However, on leaving you are then told it will take 3-5 working days to be returned to you which im not happy about. In todays world of technology there are better ways to secure these desposits without leaving the customer £50 out of pocket for almost a week. If your looking for a stop gap for a night its fine & if you want a basic breakfast its fine but sadly not Best Western at its best.

This is a character-limited review. My family recently stayed in room 204 at the Best Western Greater London, from July 7-11. You could miss it, as it blends in so easily with its neighbourhood. Its frontage is combined with neighbouring shops. Having mostly traveled in Canada and the US, the room was small compared to our "usual" (but fully as-described). We managed with the available space. No matter the time of day, the friendly staff was ready to help with needs like keeping items cool or frozen for us (the rooms don't have mini fridge/freezers). One of the team (a manager?), Gonzalo, even personally came to handle a couple of small problems with the Wi-Fi and an unexpected odour from the toilet. They also stored our bags on our last day, so we could tour unencumbered. A small issue notable in the room is that quite a few plastic screw covers have been broken, but not replaced. I hope they'll fix that soon. It's mostly an aesthetic issue, but clean, smooth surfaces tend to look nicer than broken caps, covers, etc. More inconvenient is the lack of sufficient shelf space in the washroom. I kept my toiletries bag on the window ledge, but was constantly worried it would fall out of the downward-facing window. This was also the first time I had ever experienced a hotel without air conditioning. Once again, we knew this when we booked. Overall, BW Greater London was nothing MORE, nor less than I would expect from the Best Western nameplate. I can easily recommend it.

Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpfull. Family room small but adequate and it was well maintained. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and was good. There was no parking at this hotel but was provided with parking just round the corner at their sister hotel. On the whole a nice hotel that I would definitely stay at again if in the area.

We arrived to find the Hotel on a busy London road with no place for vehicles to stop for a few hundred yards at least. I double parked at risk in order to run in and ask where their parking is, I was directed to a sister property a couple of blocks away. I arrived there to find no parking either but an employee moved their vehicle so that we could park. I had emailed prior to my arrival and was reassured that there would be a parking space. The hotel was clean and in good condition. Our room was hot so we opened our windows for some fresh air. We had a flight early next am so went to bed at 930pm for a 445am wake up. We listened to the people in the next building talking and yelling till about midnight along with the tv in the next room. At 430am we had someone walking around upstairs loudly but we were on the top floor, I suspect it might be living quarters for the staff? We slept terrible and it made for an extremely long day today with our travel. In addition the traffic noise was non-stop but we were unable to close our windows due to the room being very hot.

My booking made via Expedia was cancelled and I was not notified, but the manager on duty was helpful. However I had to pay a £100 deposit which was not part of my original booking. Lets just say do not expect much from the hotel a lot work needs to be done and the cleanliness is extremely poor, lots of dead bugs in the corners and the room carpet was disgusting.

Very friendly staff Very clean We stayed overnight to make a busy weekend in London,Perfect for the price. Close to Ilford station so the use of the Elizabethan line came in handy. Gants Hill station for the Central line. is a bus ride away . Overall cant fault the Hotel.

Room was extremely hot, even with a fan and the window open. Toilet wasn't cleaned before checking-in. TV didn’t recognise freeview channels. Other than that, room was in good condition and staff were friendly.

Room was to a great strandard, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Very fast access to the rail network and a wetherspoons just one minute down the road. Staff were very freindly and made sure we had everything we needed. Only small negative was the bed was very very firm so i slept poorly. If i had stayed more than just the night i would have asked about this but as we were only here for the one night it didn't really mattet and definitely didnt affect my overall experience here Overall for the price and how close it is to the rail station i would stay there again, but perhaps ask for a duvet to lay on our matress next time which im sure the very attentive staff would have been more than happy to help us with.

The pictures on hotel.com are misleading; however, the manager is very polite. The extremely rude and ill-mannered Antrim receptionist needs training. His unprofessional and inappropriate behavior was concerning. I wonder what language he understood. The bathroom smelled very bad and was never properly cleaned. The room was not cleaned daily.

Great stay, staff friendly and helpful, made me feel welcome. No fault with the room, extremely clean, bed comfortable and toilet/shower spotless. Highly recommend
Great stay, staff friendly and helpful, made me feel welcome. No fault with the room, extremely clean, bed comfortable and toilet/shower spotless. Highly recommend

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room it self, while clean was incredibly hot so it wasn’t comfortable. There were fans but all that did was push warm air around. There was also no bedside or small lighting which meant you either had a very bright overhead light on or left in darkness. It was convenient for the station and to get into London but based on not sleeping well due to the heat I wouldn’t stay here again.

The breakfast was delicious and all the staff was friendly and kind. The location has shopping , grocery and lots of great food. The only downside was my room was so hot if felt like a furnace. They do not have air conditioning and very rough for July summer.

Staff and service was very good and friendly and prompt check in. It was a hot day and night and the fan in the room was essential in the absence of air-con. Breakfast was terrible so don't bother with that. Otherwise it was a good stay and convenient for the Elizabeth Line.

The first room we were given was insanely small, dated & hot and only had fan that went to medium speed alongside a tiny window for ventilation. So we went to reception asking for our money back as we were not comfortable staying at the hotel. However the employee Icrah (apologies if spelt incorrectly or not correct name I can’t remember fully) was most helpful when went downstairs to query about a refund. She showed us 5 other alternative rooms until we were satisfied it was suitable for us & even gave us extra fans and brought up the new keycard to the room for us. For the price it does the job & is extremely however I would only recommend if all you plan to do is sleep there and not spend free time there as it is not the most comforting place to be.

I was check in late night 2 week ago, when i do payment with credit card, front desk is told me that hotel is not accepted payment with credit card unless transfer or cash. Thanks god i have cash ready to payment 1st night. And then next morning before 11am, they keep asking me for rest payment for my another day stay. Payment system is disappointed, no ac. Stay away from room 108, next to street, very noise, people talk loud til 2am. I have to open window because no ac, totally cant sleep well for 3 night.

This is a character-limited review. My family recently stayed in room 204 at the Best Western Greater London, from July 7-11. You could miss it, as it blends in so easily with its neighbourhood. Its frontage is combined with neighbouring shops. Having mostly traveled in Canada and the US, the room was small compared to our "usual" (but fully as-described). We managed with the available space. No matter the time of day, the friendly staff was ready to help with needs like keeping items cool or frozen for us (the rooms don't have mini fridge/freezers). One of the team (a manager?), Gonzalo, even personally came to handle a couple of small problems with the Wi-Fi and an unexpected odour from the toilet. They also stored our bags on our last day, so we could tour unencumbered. A small issue notable in the room is that quite a few plastic screw covers have been broken, but not replaced. I hope they'll fix that soon. It's mostly an aesthetic issue, but clean, smooth surfaces tend to look nicer than broken caps, covers, etc. More inconvenient is the lack of sufficient shelf space in the washroom. I kept my toiletries bag on the window ledge, but was constantly worried it would fall out of the downward-facing window. This was also the first time I had ever experienced a hotel without air conditioning. Once again, we knew this when we booked. Overall, BW Greater London was nothing MORE, nor less than I would expect from the Best Western nameplate. I can easily recommend it.

Room was to a great strandard, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Very fast access to the rail network and a wetherspoons just one minute down the road. Staff were very freindly and made sure we had everything we needed. Only small negative was the bed was very very firm so i slept poorly. If i had stayed more than just the night i would have asked about this but as we were only here for the one night it didn't really mattet and definitely didnt affect my overall experience here Overall for the price and how close it is to the rail station i would stay there again, but perhaps ask for a duvet to lay on our matress next time which im sure the very attentive staff would have been more than happy to help us with.

The staff were very polite and accommodating. Rooms provided to us were clean and in very good condition. I particularly appreciated the shower cubicle; easy to use with good water pressure. The coffee shop was a pleasant surprise; good coffee and service; comforting ambiance of the layout, a quiet place to relax with family. I thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

The hotel itself was fine however they claimed they were not able to process our credit card. They insisted on cash which we had to pay then when we reviewed our credit card statement saw that they have also charged our card so we’re scammed for two payments

Hotel is located a very short walk from Ilford station which affords a quick and easy access to Central London on Elizabeth Line. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurant around plus the hotel has one in the foyer Lovely, attentive staff. Nothing is too much to ask. Had my breakfast freshly cooked to order which was a nice touch. perfect. Will definitely return.

The worst i have never and ever experienced and the security deposit amount is unacceptable, which is more than triple of the room booked amount, which is over helmet for ordinary people. While checking out the deposit amounts bot on an immediate return basis , I have to wait for 3 to working days. Is there any reason why i need to invest such amounts for one night to stay on this bad process hotel rooms? For me, it is unacceptable and not worth for money. I will not recommend anyone to stay in thia Hotel anymore. At the end of the day, i cashless and walk out the reception and seeking help from my friend for travelling to my surrey home location.

Hard to find as entrance is through a coffee shop! No parking but a good car park about 5 mins walk away. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very small for 3 people but was ok for one overnight stay. Area a bit iffy 😕

Me and my friend were looking for a cheap hotel and we found this. At first we were nervous because we had seen some bad reviews, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was small but it was enough for us, the room looked new and smelled new. The train station was 2 minutes from the hotel which was super helpful. Honestly, no complaints perfect for 2 people that just wants somewhere to stay

We arrived to find the Hotel on a busy London road with no place for vehicles to stop for a few hundred yards at least. I double parked at risk in order to run in and ask where their parking is, I was directed to a sister property a couple of blocks away. I arrived there to find no parking either but an employee moved their vehicle so that we could park. I had emailed prior to my arrival and was reassured that there would be a parking space. The hotel was clean and in good condition. Our room was hot so we opened our windows for some fresh air. We had a flight early next am so went to bed at 930pm for a 445am wake up. We listened to the people in the next building talking and yelling till about midnight along with the tv in the next room. At 430am we had someone walking around upstairs loudly but we were on the top floor, I suspect it might be living quarters for the staff? We slept terrible and it made for an extremely long day today with our travel. In addition the traffic noise was non-stop but we were unable to close our windows due to the room being very hot.

Manager is efficient and fair with dealing with issues. For example, I’d asked for someone to remove a dirty old pair of underwear that was on the landing outside my window which was dealt with swiftly! I was also considering furthering my stay and he explained options clearly. On Expedia it did say “access to a nearby indoor pool” this was not the case and disappointed my 13 year old son somewhat as he loves to swim! I did not like the breakfast I’d brought from the cafe. Enjoyed the fresh orange juice. However the buffet breakfast which I saw in the morning did look nice. I really loved the placement and some of the designs of the mirrors around the hotel. Also, there were other design elements I liked. Overall decent stay. Thanks

When booking I thought I was coming to stay at a Best Western hotel. Sadly it was Best Western by name only. The room small but was ok for a night. It was a little further out from central London than I thought but a little more research would of corrected this. There is no bar to enjoy a relaxing drink and your breakfast area is in the recpetion area. We booked breakfast thinking it was going to be a full english as photographed on their website. However cereal, toast, jams , fruit, cheese & hard boiled eggs was all that was on offer. If a full english was available we werent told. We were informed of breakfast times but nothing more than this. We arrived very late so at the time we werent aware that the reception area was our breakfast area, we werent told this either. Upon arrival they take a deposit which im ok with. However, on leaving you are then told it will take 3-5 working days to be returned to you which im not happy about. In todays world of technology there are better ways to secure these desposits without leaving the customer £50 out of pocket for almost a week. If your looking for a stop gap for a night its fine & if you want a basic breakfast its fine but sadly not Best Western at its best.
When booking I thought I was coming to stay at a Best Western hotel. Sadly it was Best Western by name only. The room small but was ok for a night. It was a little further out from central London than I thought but a little more research would of corrected this. There is no bar to enjoy a relaxing drink and your breakfast area is in the recpetion area. We booked breakfast thinking it was going to be a full english as photographed on their website. However cereal, toast, jams , fruit, cheese & hard boiled eggs was all that was on offer. If a full english was available we werent told. We were informed of breakfast times but nothing more than this. We arrived very late so at the time we werent aware that the reception area was our breakfast area, we werent told this either. Upon arrival they take a deposit which im ok with. However, on leaving you are then told it will take 3-5 working days to be returned to you which im not happy about. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpfull. Family room small but adequate and it was well maintained. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and was good. There was no parking at this hotel but was provided with parking just round the corner at their sister hotel. On the whole a nice hotel that I would definitely stay at again if in the area.

Super hot due to no air con and tiny room. Hotel is at a back of a coffee shop on a busy street. Parking was a short walk away, however it did t feel like the safest of areas.

Originally given a lower class room type than I had booked, had to go down and be moved, room I was moved to then hadn't been cleaned properly, (still had previous guests items in). Room was not set up to deal with the 38 degree heat in London, no Aircon, broken fan, safety window that only partially opened. No fan or the extractor was not working in the bathroom which was then even hotter than the main room itself. No water provided in the room amenities and further no water provided to deal with the heatwave (but you could purchase some) despite there being around 8 guests in the lobby at 3am due to the unbearable heat in the rooms and no way to resolve this issue. Overall the stay would have been reasonably poor without the heatwave, but with no way of dealing with the heat and no real attempt to help any of the guests the level of service in dealing with this situation was dreadful. Offered a 40% partial refund by Management after but not really good enough especially for a hotel under a big brand name like Best Western.

Et lidt specielt men godt hotel. På den ene side er der nogle meget fine ting som flotte lysekroner osv og på den anden side er det meget simpelt. Når man skal finde det første gang, er man lige ved at gå forbi fordi det deler indgang med en lille cafe som fylder det meste af facaden. Personalet var gode både ved indtjekning og ved morgenmaden, hvor de var gode til at fylde op. Morgenmaden er fin og der er også nogle varme ting. Det eneste minus var den dårlige bacon. De havde skruet lidt for meget op for aircondition i varmen, så der var noget koldt i salen. Til gengæld var elevatoren meget varm. På værelset var der sat en bord ventilator frem til at hjælpe i varmen. Værelset var ikke specielt stort men rent og pænt. Det eneste rigtige minus var at der var en dobbeltdyne og ikke 2 enkel dyner. Heldigvis var der så varmt med både vindue åben og ventilatoren kørende at det var muligt at sove uden dyne Godt tv med mange kanaler. Badeværelset havde en god størrelse og var også rent og pænt. Og der var en toiletbørste. Det er nemt at komme ind til det centrale London med Elizabeth Line fra Ilford, og hotellet ligger meget tæt på stationen. Der er også et Tesco supermarked meget tæt på og et større Sainsbury supermarked lidt længere væk men stadig i gå afstand. Vi vil helt sikkert bo der igen.

Wasnt too happy the Hotel took 90 pound as a pre authorization payment wont receive it back for one month Also need a physical card for payment Then they needed a deposit on check in so cost me a fortune before any stay Stayed in apartment 1 A and the noise underneath from the restaurant constant banging and smashing until 1 am got very little sleep all weekend Other than that it is a nice hotel, staff were very helpful Good location for metro, food places and right beside a large shopping centre and the town .. lots of little bargain shops in the town and also there was a market with rides for the kids ... a lovely park and playground 10 min walk

The best staff I’ve encountered in a long time. The rooms are small but very clean. No air conditioning. The only problem I had was I’m the hotel policy wouldn’t take a major credit/debit card because it required a signature (not sure why as I use my PIN any other time abd it wouldn’t pull up that way in their hotel payment machine).
