Excellent room, nice aircon very clean, and cleaners came in daily to clean our room. They are doing renovations so the noise and the entry to the rooms are on the side of the hotel, if you don’t mind climbing steps then your be fine and once you get into your room you won’t be disappointed

Ghastly Dark Green Painted Walls make the room look small. Would be so much nicer if the walls were painted white or a pale grey to tone in with the curtains and carpet. Did not appreciate being asked to pay a $200.00 bond on my visa card which will not be paid back to me for 3 to 4 days.

Singles and couples great, call before booking family lodging. Call the hotel! They were amazing but the room type we wanted and paid for wasnt a available on-site as its in renovation. It was sorted by giving us a second room but it split us up and that wasnt the plan. The service was impeccable and the front desk was super understanding but a refund and rebooking was out of the question as it was a same day rental and processing would have taken time. However they really were great about everything. Road noise was minimal but present, showers were nice. Would have loved a microwave in room but the restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced. Also dont let the outside fool you its interior is nicer than the exterior. And pull the door/push the door when leaving it will sometimes not latch the 1st try.

Room was great, clean and tidy. There were fast food outlets next door if you don’t want to eat in the onsite bistro. My only complaint was the $200 deposit that was required when I checked. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere before checking. Even tho I did an online checkin. This deposit still has not been refunded two days later.

Clean and modern, parking nearby. Good dining and other facilities nearby. Own bathroom area, which was new, and the decor and art was all lovely, bed was comfortable. The noise does travel quite a bit when entering and exiting rooms, so you do hear people coming and going a bit. Our air conditioner was pretty loud, but it nullified the majority of street noise, so it wasn’t a major concern for us. Would have liked to keep pendant

Singles and couples great, call before booking family lodging. Call the hotel! They were amazing but the room type we wanted and paid for wasnt a available on-site as its in renovation. It was sorted by giving us a second room but it split us up and that wasnt the plan. The service was impeccable and the front desk was super understanding but a refund and rebooking was out of the question as it was a same day rental and processing would have taken time. However they really were great about everything. Road noise was minimal but present, showers were nice. Would have loved a microwave in room but the restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced. Also dont let the outside fool you its interior is nicer than the exterior. And pull the door/push the door when leaving it will sometimes not latch the 1st try.

Good to have a few drinks before going to bed. It's a shame they don't have the outdoors area open at night and the BWS closes too early.

Clean, Good sized room. Restaurant offer good lunch and dinner. No Breakfast facilities. Noisy room and don't have proper curtain to room dark enough. But still ok for short stay.

Good for a short stay. The pub is very traditional and the bistro was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good. Drinks were cheaper than average. Quiet at night.

Very comfortable, modern, good amenities, good value plus a nice gesture to a free welcome drink. Convenient to dinner venue with also value for money. Will definitely use Nightcap again in the future, it was my first staying at Nightcap.

Room was great, clean and tidy. There were fast food outlets next door if you don’t want to eat in the onsite bistro. My only complaint was the $200 deposit that was required when I checked. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere before checking. Even tho I did an online checkin. This deposit still has not been refunded two days later.

Accommodation was good, as usual. The change in the bistro has been a disaster. The previous people they had were excellent. Should have been a warning when the bistro was almost empty on a Wednesday night. I was overcharged for the steak special, and it came out over-cooked. Paid over $30 for the $17 Wednesday special (250g rump). All the prices have increased, and the portion sizes have been reduced. Manager said as it had gone through the till he can do nothing. Staff are mostly new and clearly minimum wage with no experience. Manager was the only one that was working well. My stay at the Riverside hotel the night before was much better at least the $18 T-bone was 400g. I will not be staying here in future.

The room was clean and colourful. Loved the green walls and the paintings. Staff were helpful. Good selection of shops nearby if you needed anything or didn't want to eat at the Hotel.
