Safe place and centrally located. Walking distance between the two train stations. Room air conditioning a factor too chosing this place. Clean room, toilet and bath. Warmed welcome with the Reception staffs.

This B&B has a great location. Steps to the lake front and ferry. Rooms are basic but very nice. Staff very helpful. Excellent value for Como. Less than 15 minute walk to train station. Highly recommend.

The location was excellent and the place was clean and well kept

I usually do not write many reviews, good or bad unless they are warranted. In this case I believe it is. We arrived and were immediately hit with a strong odor of food (fish and curry) cooking from the first floor apartment. The temperature was very hot and the building main areas do not have air conditioning or any circulation. The smell lingers throughout the building!!! We went into our room and settled in. The building is over 100 years old so everything is also old. Everything is worn and dilapidated. The apartment did have one wall air air-conditioning unit in the main entry area. This a/c unit is meant to cool the entire apartment. The a/c unit made a buzz noise every 45 seconds or so. It’s not that noticeable at first because the a/c unit is a little noisy when running but at night when it’s quiet you really notice the buzz. The noise continues even when the unit is off. I found that the a/c unit has an electrical current problem that needed to be addressed. I complained to the host/ manager twice about the noise and after 9 hours I received a response. The host said the buzz was normal and it was a condenser clearing the water from the system. I told the host it was not normal and gave them a clear explanation of what the problem was with the unit. I never received a response. I did not sleep the first two nights and had to get ear plugs for the third night. The a/c unit barely works. The bed is also not good. I do not recommend this rental.
