The check in was a breeze. The breakfast was the typical breakfast in Italy with Italian cakes, cut up fruits, sliced local Kraft type cheese, yogurt, Italian croissants (home made), toast bread, and Italian cookies. The cons of the hotel: The wifi internet never worked. Actually we could never get it took to work with our cell phones. We tried on 6 different iPhones including an iPad . When asked the hotel staff to fix the wifi internet the person who worked when we were checking out said that if it is too hot the wifi internet does not work or is not reliable. Since it was hat that day the wifi internet is not reliable. The second problem was that when booking the hotel through hotels.com the hotel was indicating that a pool is available. When asked about the pool with the hotel staff on site when we checked in the staff said the pool was just for decorations for weddings. The third problem or surprise was that every time we left the hotel with our car during our stay we had to leave the hotel room keys with the front desk. This was not acceptable to me. This was never explained w hen booking the hotel through hotels.com that the hotel room key must be left at the front desk. If you want a hotel with no internet and no pool then this hotel is for you. I was looking for hotel with everything that I was promised when reserving the hotel. Upon reservation of the hotel , the hotel should have had a pool available, working internet and available, and breakfast.
