Neptune Oceanfront Rentals

Unfortunately, I am not able to tell you anything about this hotel because I was not able to access my room because this hotel is not ADA accessible. You have to step up and down to get into the property to get to the rooms and even though I sent an email to the hotel in advance and a message through hotels.com making sure that this hotel was ADA accessible I still showed up and was turned away. They relocated me to one of their other hotels that they own, which was not beach front and the cost difference was approximately $180 for the week and when I brought this to the managers attention, he told me it was not their fault. They had a room ready for me. it’s my fault because I couldn’t get inside. I’ve never in my life have experienced such ADA accessible discrimination in my life. I didn’t even have words to say back to him because the fact that he could say those words out of his mouth just tells me the level of ignorance I was dealing with and being disabled and traveling alone. I just didn’t have it in me Very very sad. I emailed a letter to the owner that I found online and I have not heard back yet I’m hoping for the best and I’m hoping that they can advertise this hotel as non-ADA accessible so others don’t have to experience this as I did.

No elevator

The property was dirty and run down. It had a window air conditioner that was load. For the price....almost $400 after cleaning and parking fee. Crazy.... moved down the road. The location was great tho... right across from beach. Hadca kitchenette but had to pay extra for dishes....lol really?? Coffee maker but no coffee. No beach towels but you could check out at tge office for a 20.00 deposit. Never experienced anything like it. Of course, all of the extra fees was not mentioned on website.

On the beach was very nice, but no free parking on the property off street parking only.

Excellent location for this beach property. Opened the door and had a magnificent view of the ocean. Walking distance from restaurants and bars. Check in was a bit confusing since office is not on site but a block away - no biggie. Parking is a little more challenging but if you pay for the parking pass you can find a parking location nearby.

Property had AC issues and we needed to change rooms. The doors are difficult to close; areas are rusted and hinges on doors are not fully intact. Not to mention the stairs have sloppy concrete on the sides. Otherwise inside the apartment was nice and room service was very consistent. Be aware there are cleaning fees of about $50 per day so make sure you add it to the night stay and they expect it to be paid upfront during check in. I don’t believe that is fair to be charged so much when it’s up to the facility to pay their staff. The fee is outrageous.

Neptune has no pool. Kitchen has zero utensils, no pots, no pans. Get ready to pay even more at chick-in ($168). Continental Bk one block away

The property definitely needs a facelift. Area around the pool was moldy. Tables by the pool were missing umbrellas or the umbrellas were broken. Breakfast was …ok… nothing much ( bagels, bread with cheese, cereal, coffee and juice.)

Beware of hidden fees. Expect rude staff forcing you to pay double what is advertised here. Read the fine print. Sketchy place, dirty pool, reception is in another hotel a block away. Mediocre rooms, smells, bring your own water. Avoid!

Charged resort fees which is supposed to cover amenities pool was dirty with roaches and paid parking separately per night. Check in took forever and the ladies had attitude. Nothing in kitchen as far as cooking ware and everyone we called we were put in a long hold. No late check out unless you paid. 20 dollars deposit per pool towels… just ridiculous

Dirty, Stinky, Loud. The kitchenette smelled like rancid oil. There was trash in the trashcan in our room. The floor felt greasy and sandy. The breakfast was TERRIBLE- thick gray coffee and margarine and breads. No meat. only hard boiled eggs. LOUD neighborhood. BAD Ac (loud machine that never gets things real cold).

Nice long weekend with my husband. Overall great time. Floors can use some more attention

Pictures do not match the rooms. Very dated, dirty, windows cracked/broken non-operable. Couldn’t find breakfast and no one knew what I was talking about. Waited hours for new towels

Great location but the room needs major updating. Also it was dirty (hairballs on the floor, sticky floor). The bed was very old and uncomfortable. Looked at the reviews before booking and for the price expected it to be in better condition. Glad it was only for one night!

Pros --- Oceanfront as the name says. Nice restaurants on the broad-walk and nice crowd in walkable distance. Cons -- Terrible cleanliness, to start with - 1. The floors are sticky 2. The curtains do not completely cover the windows. So no privacy. 3. The restrooms are bad. 4. There is no hairdryer in the room. 5. Sockets don't work. We had to use just one working plug in the kitchen. If you can afford anything better, please don't book this place.

The area is very nice but the rooms are dirty. Some have been somewhat remodeled. Mine was one of the ones that were supposed to have been remodeled the shower tile was old moldy and dirty. I reported to one of the cleaning ladies that there were reoaches even showed her one I killed, and said she would report it and in the five days I was there no one ever came. The broken refrigerator handle made it very difficult to open the door. There is no dresser or nightstand or anything to be able to put anything away. This hotel is in a great location but needs a lot of restructuring for the area in which it is located. Not worth the money paid for.

This was literally one of the most disgusting rooms I’ve ever stayed in! Black mold built up on the vents & creeping across the walls & ceiling. The floors were greasy. The amount of dust & crud in the sliding medicine cabinet mirrors in the bathroom actually made me gag. Had we needed to stay more than just a few hrs to sleep for one night, I would have definitely asked for our money back & left!

Office and breakfast area is a mile away, the floor in the room was dirty, no cable TV, the loveseat smell. False advertising from Neptune.

Very close to beach which was good and bad, very loud at night while trying to sleep. Bed was comfortable and had hot water for shower. Room smelled like mildew and was not very clean. Staff very rude. No security until 11 at night. Parking was a nightmare. They really need to update the rooms.

We loved how convenient it was to walk the boardwalk or the ocean. The ocean front view was excellent. A few nice to haves: Each room had a coffee pot but no filters or coffee. When asked about it, it was brushed off. They also didn’t have some of your basics most condos would such as apart towels. We weren’t there to watch tv by any means but when we wanted to in the evening the wifi connection wasn’t great therefore we didn’t watch tv at all. There wasn’t a good place in the bedroom to charge our devices. Our friends stayed in another room and did have a small area on each side of the bed, and their tv had good signal. Our room had central air, however the room our friends stayed in had two window units. They advertised 5 pools, two of which had swim up bars. It wasn't clear as to where those were and how to use/get to them. The free breakfast in the morning was basically toast or a bagel, cereal, and some fruit. All in all, the rooms were clean and well maintained.

The Junior Apartment we booked looked nothing like the room we were placed in other than it being oceanfront and designed similar in structure. The room was old, outdated, has plaster covering holes, some windows didn't have coverings (we were promised them the 2nd day and they never came), the floor was seriously dirty. Signs of water damage, 2 old loud window air conditioners and the first weekend there was excessive noise past 1:30am! We paid a premium thinking we were getting a nice nice, but instead got an outdated, rundown room. Shame on them for the false advertisement!!!

The room was not fully completed. We had only 2 beds. Absolutely no other furniture. The bathroom was extra tiny. Nothing in the shower to put soap or shampoo on. No toilet paper roll. We lost water 1 of the days. Overall, very poor conditions.

Rooms are old need updating, toilet paper holder was broken Knob in shower hanging on to a thread. Cabinets woodwork doors old . This being said the location is amazing

The best location but the room needs work. The stove was very old and stained. The door had splattered paint all over. The sheets were ripped.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the room exactly as advertised. It appeared to have been recently renovated and had plenty of room. We had a partial ocean view and were right on the boardwalk. The room was very close to shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean. We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again!

Nothing absolutely terrible about this property, just not great. There's no lamps in the room so you either have to use the full bright ceiling fan light or feel around in the dark. This also means you can't turn off the light while in the bed. There's no outlet near the bed so hopefully you don't like to charge your phone while you sleep and then use it as your alarm. The toilet paper was like science class paper towel material; like I've seen places use single-ply and even half-ply toilet paper but this stuff was very stiff and thick. The bathroom has a pedestal sink so there's zero counter space for getting ready in the bathroom. This also means that the spare toilet paper is placed on the skinny window sill right next to the sink so every time you're trying to use the sink you'll probably knock the spare toilet paper roll into the sink or onto the floor. The windows are old (likely original from the 70's) and did not provide any sound barrier. It sounded like people and vehicles outside were in your room. Most annoying is probably that you have to pay for parking, like are there people walking to the motel? The positives are that its right on the beach and right on the boardwalk which has a lot of places to eat. This place could be so much better with a few minor changes.

The location is great. Right on the boardwalk. Amenities and property conditions are poor. A/C (window unit) is super loud, bathroom is very small and crampy. Resort fee $50 tax per night Parking fee $18 tax per night. There’s an unexpected up charge from Expedia as well. We booked a studio room w/ King bed for 2 guests. Was charged $75 fee for extra guest. What the Hell… Expedia?

the room was renovated and clean, it’s very close to the ocean. The staff were not nice at all, and the breakfast was terrible.

The two female front desk staff were not very friendly and stood behind two giant computer screens so you didn’t even see their face when they spoke to you. The manager later in the day was very nice and was much more helpful. The location is incredible, the view from my room was amazing but the room itself is extremely outdated. If you are looking for a great beach location this is your spot, just keep looking out the window.

Great room right on the beach!! Room lacks in a few amenities but the view of the beach makes up for it. Bathroom has no shelves for belongings. There are no kleenex or papertowels eventhough there is a full kitchen. Staff for the most part is great! Check in staff is friendly and accomodating. Security staff is amazing! The lady at the breakfast area is excellent at her job. You better not grab more than one yogurt or you will get a scolding from her! Overall our stay was great due to the location!

Ocean view was the good part, check in took 1 hour and 1/2, office is in a convenience store, 2 persons only at the office for 20 persons waiting in line for check in, broken shower head, no grill in oven, no dishes in kitchenette, but was deliver in a banker box and this is not a joke but laughable, newly painted inside but just basic

The location to the beach was great. Check in was terrible, it was an hour wait. My suggestion would be to message when rooms were ready and not have everyone arrived at 4 o'clock to check in.

The front desk person didn’t know how to assign rooms. Over charged guest. We waited 45 minutes to be checked in. Tried to charge me more for the same room I booked online. Best part was the ocean behind it. Rooms need to be updated.

I didn’t receive any instructions on where to check in. Apparently it’s in a different building a mile away. Walked around the property looking for the check in desk and obviously there wasn’t one there but nobody told me. Come to find out it was actually in the email in the extreme fine print at the bottom. While walking around I called the number listed multiple times with no answer. I ended up booking another place to stay. They also would not refund me so now I’m out my money spent for absolutely nothing. Terrible experience and would never recommend. I should have taken the advice from the reviews of others.

Terribly rude staff. Super loud nights, didn’t get good sleep. Super old doors that kept getting stuck, and I was locked out of my room several times. It took maintenance long time to fix. Management was careless and staff lied about who was the manager. Also, very deceiving on cost, not worth the ridiculous price, overpriced! The only good things were the kind cleaning ladies and maintenance guy, those were the only nice people.

I didn't appreciate the $50.00 per night junk fee (cleaning fee) that was outside the package deal I already paid for. The staff was not helpful in helping me find my room. They told me to find a security guard to help.

The only negative is the front office staff is not very welcoming or friendly

First thing is the amazing customer service and support we have received since the moment we arrived! George is an incredible person! He made sure any need was met! Second … LOCATION! 10 steps from our front door to the beach! Absolutely stunning views from any window in the room! Thank you Neptune and George for a wonderful vacation ♥️

The room was a good size, very clean, great view of the ocean and convenient to restaurants and bars. The beach is just a few steps from our room. Parking is a bit of a challenge, other than that it was a perfect stay.

Worst hotel breakfast I've ever experienced. Property is slightly dingy but otherwise a great place to stay. Nice to be right on the beach and have access to a pool.

Great staff, excellent location, but there was issues with hotwater when we stayed there, cleanliness can improve . Coffee at the breakfast was delicious.

Well worth the price. The lady who runs the breakfast reach morning was extremely rude every morning.

Was an awesome stop at the Neptune facility. Happened on it via hotels.com and was pleasantly impressed. The directions couldve been made way more clear on where the front office was located, but that was a minor set back. Nice complimentary breakfast as well. Room and the view were fabulous! Definitely would stay there again.
