The rooftop bar was closed and this wasn’t advised in advance. For the price of this hotel, the availability of the facilities are woeful. The spa was also fully booked. I would not stay here again

The minute we entered this Taj hotel, we instantly felt relaxed: we knew we would get a comfortable perfectly clean room, good food prepared following a strict hygienic protocol, a very pleasant environment due to very well trained team that’s as professional in its efficiency as it is kind and personable. And of course they delivered! From Bharat, of housekeeping, who expertly got our laundry done overnight, and pampered us with care and delightful little decor surprises, to the entire reception and restaurant staff, the well appointed gift shop’s gentlemen, to Pranshu, of management, who miraculously provided me with the maps I had unsuccessfully been looking for in countless places across Bhopal and its region, and provided us with lots of useful information with warmth and genuine dedication, I could go on and on… oh yes, and the magical spa massages that put a smile on my husband’s lips each and every time, leaving him totally relaxed and reenergized! This has been our perfect place to restore our strength, delight our taste buds, inform us about the region’s many fascinating historical places and art and provide us with wonderful lasting memories! Thank you Taj Bhopal’s amazing team! 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏

A five star hotel with a beautiful view of the lake that is across the street (if you book a lake-view room). Room and facilities are top notch. Food prices are reasonable for a 5 star hotel, and quality is good. They also provide transportation services (car driver) but I found this quite inflated and found my own.

It was a pleasure to stay at a hotel which is excellently maintained. Art, craftsmanship and traditional culture add to the experience. From the front desk, to the dining rooms, and even the fitness center the staff was attentive. Plus the laundry service was excellent.

Everything was again so perfect and again magically serendiptous at the Bhopal Taj Lakefront, that last night as I slept in ghe pristine air of a Kashmiri forest, I had a lovely dream that I was back at the Taj having interesting conversations with new friends and also relaxing in the pool. Check-in was perfect as they already had my details from my first stay, and they had prepared my room with English TV channels as I requested. It us not an exaggetation that I feel blessed to have discovered this place where I can get away sometimes after doing difficult and often ohysically taxing work in Bhopal. Every moment is one of great enjoyment, relaxation, or even deep contemplation or appreciation as everything is immaculate and service is so excellent that my superficial mind is not distracted by various things and I just rest in a very grateful and comfortable space in-mind. I was even able to paint a little iainting as I sat in the sun bybthe pool drinking a beer.

Wow, this hotel was everything I could have asked for, and much more! Firstly, The Taj is immaculate and the service was completely attentive. Every staff member tried their very best to give the excellent service. I do a lot of difficult work I do in India, and rooftop swims, watching one of my favorite films in English (English speaking channels were activated with no charge) on a huge, clean bed, the best croissants I have had in India, so far, a wonderful time dancing while overlooking Bhopal at Infinity at the top of the building, putting a towel down in the large shower to lie down on under and/or sit in meditation under a hot shower with a huge raining showerhead, the delicious Chinese food and finest breakfast spread I have ever experienced in India. If you stay here, go to breakfast! The very interesting and cultured person I met at breakfast, who invited me to his table, had pomegranate seeds brought to him in a bowl. I will ask for that, next time, as this is a lively respite and get-a-way in Bhopal. Oh, and I could see the enormous murti of Hanuman-ji towering over the tree-tops and viewing the city (non lake-view) through a wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling window. The best! That was a most welcome and lovely surprise as I am a Sevite who loves Hanuman-ji. Finally, I would like to thank the most courteous and clearly very kind front desk gentleman, Moustafa, and the genuinely gracious duty manager, Apeksha,

This hotel has no heating system, which is ridiculous when winter low temps are 50F/10C. The room is ice cold since they've had the air-conditioner at full blast before arrival, and no way to heat it since all the space heaters are taken (presumably by other freezing guests). The apologetic staff offered a hot water bottle, which is of course inconvenient unless all you want to do is sleep. Far below expectations for a 5-star hotel and a Taj property.

Wow, this hotel was everything I could have asked for, and much more! Firstly, The Taj is immaculate and the service was completely attentive. Every staff member tried their very best to give the excellent service. I do a lot of difficult work I do in India, and rooftop swims, watching one of my favorite films in English (English speaking channels were activated with no charge) on a huge, clean bed, the best croissants I have had in India, so far, a wonderful time dancing while overlooking Bhopal at Infinity at the top of the building, putting a towel down in the large shower to lie down on under and/or sit in meditation under a hot shower with a huge raining showerhead, the delicious Chinese food and finest breakfast spread I have ever experienced in India. If you stay here, go to breakfast! The very interesting and cultured person I met at breakfast, who invited me to his table, had pomegranate seeds brought to him in a bowl. I will ask for that, next time, as this is a lively respite and get-a-way in Bhopal. Oh, and I could see the enormous murti of Hanuman-ji towering over the tree-tops and viewing the city (non lake-view) through a wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling window. The best! The minute we entered this Taj hotel, we instantly felt relaxed: we knew we would get a comfortable perfectly clean room, good food prepared following a strict hygienic protocol, a very pleasant environment due to very well trained team that’s as professional in its efficiency as it is kind and personable. And of course they delivered! From Bharat, of housekeeping, who expertly got our laundry done overnight, and pampered us with care and delightful little decor surprises, to the entire reception and restaurant staff, the well appointed gift shop’s gentlemen, to Pranshu, of management, who miraculously provided me with the maps I had unsuccessfully been looking for in countless places across Bhopal and its region, and provided us with lots of useful information with warmth and genuine dedication, I could go on and on… oh yes, and the magical spa massages that put a smile on my husband’s lips each and every time, leaving him totally relaxed and reenergized! This has been our perfect place to restore our strength, delight our taste buds, inform us about the region’s many fascinating historical places and art and provide us with wonderful lasting memories! The gentleman at breakfast service Brijesh took care of us like a family, The lady at breakfast check in was very thoughtful, she went out of the way to organized my daughter’s birthday lunch. Room had a beautiful lake view of my favorite city Bhopal ( where I grew up). Thank you Taj and it’s staff for making our family trip memorable.

Wow, this hotel was everything I could have asked for, and much more! Firstly, The Taj is immaculate and the service was completely attentive. Every staff member tried their very best to give the excellent service. I do a lot of difficult work I do in India, and rooftop swims, watching one of my favorite films in English (English speaking channels were activated with no charge) on a huge, clean bed, the best croissants I have had in India, so far, a wonderful time dancing while overlooking Bhopal at Infinity at the top of the building, putting a towel down in the large shower to lie down on under and/or sit in meditation under a hot shower with a huge raining showerhead, the delicious Chinese food and finest breakfast spread I have ever experienced in India. If you stay here, go to breakfast! The very interesting and cultured person I met at breakfast, who invited me to his table, had pomegranate seeds brought to him in a bowl. I will ask for that, next time, as this is a lively respite and get-a-way in Bhopal. Oh, and I could see the enormous murti of Hanuman-ji towering over the tree-tops and viewing the city (non lake-view) through a wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling window. The best! That was a most welcome and lovely surprise as I am a Sevite who loves Hanuman-ji.
