Bloc Hotel London Gatwick Airport

Our second stay at this hotel as a pre-holiday stopover and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s a small room but perfectly formed! And dinner in the Goraffe restaurant with 20% off was a bonus!!

If you want a room smaller than a prison cell and have to climb over your partner to get out of the bed and go to the toilet which is soaking wet because its also the shower (which decided to start dripping in the night and soaked the seat and the bathroom floor) - then THIS IS 4 U. If you’d rather pay £20 more for a decent hotel room where you can swing some cats then make like me next time and go elsewhere

The Bloc Hotel was a perfect location for a layover at Gatwick. Plane to hotel took about half an hour and I was in my room relaxing within an hour. The room was small but perfect for the purpose of getting rest between flights. Staff were efficient and welcoming. Complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. I actually overestimated the time it would take to get to my flight in the morning - security was very swift and it takes so little time to get to the flight I could have slept another half an hour.

Basic small room but with a comfortable king size bed

Very quick check in, room just as expected, close to Giraffe Restaurant where you get 20% off food and drink. Fast track security right outside hotel. Bed very comfortable. Very happy with my choice of hotel.
