The inn was a pleasant surprise. It’s quiet, lovely and cozy. Staff was amazing and all the extras were great (breakfast was delicious, wine and cheese on the patio, boat ride). Can’t recommend this enough. We loved our stay and will always return.

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina was a huge surprise. We arrived to a very friendly accomodating staff, who had set up an evening of wine & cheese from their lawn, decks and porch looking over the harbor while a guitarist played and sang from the gazebo. Staff were attentive and informative. We foolishly skipped the inn's pontoon cruise upriver because we were too relaxed to walk down to the dock. But the people who took the cruise really enjoyed it. Our room was spotless. It was spacious enough for us to feel at home and the bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. Great soaker tub and shower head. I was surprised at every detail. The room advertised that it had a "real" balcony. What we got was a covered 10x12 deck with views of both the sound and the river. Hot or cold breakfast served in your room or on the porch is made to order with plenty of choices. These people know how to run an inn! The location is perfectly set between Old Saybrook/Old Lyme and Watch Hill/Stonington/Mystic area. There were lots of great restaurants to choose from. We went to Fat Tuna's because it was just over the bridge and sat on the river watching the sunset, but Niantic has so much to offer for the little town that it is. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend. I will highly recommend this place mainly because these inn owners, their staff and this town know how to make people feel pampered and special!
