The pool and hot tub were great! Very clean.

We enjoyed our stay, the pool and hot tub were in desperate need of cleaning.

Ein eifaches Hotel. Wir hatten ei grosses, sauberes Zimmer. 2 Germseher abet nur 1 funktionierte. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in dir Jahte gekommen. Das Frühstück war gut. Leder waren sämtliche Fitnessheräte ausser Betrieb und die Gästlaundry esr eine Abstellkammer für die Handwerker im Hause und gar keine Waschmaschine und Tumbler vorhanden. Es ist schade, dass uns dies bei der Buchung nicht mitgeteilt wurde auch das Wifi war in den Zimmer sehr schwach. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Bed comfort: not great—small pillows. Food Options: great!! Biggest disappointment: pool and hot tub were murky and felt filthy.

The staff was nice and I was really hopeful for the hotel to be wonderful but the rooms were just disappointing. It was clean (I think) but it felt old. The walls were patched up, the caulking around the bathtub was sloppy, the sheets were rough and I’m pretty sure our bathroom had black mold in the shower. The most disgusting part was the pool and hot tub. My kiddo was so excited to go swimming but when she did we noticed the water was a bit cloudy. It wasn’t until she went all the way under water that we realized how cloudy the water was. When my daughter went underwater, we could not see her from above. I have pictures to prove it. We didn’t even bother going in the hot tub because when the bubbles turned off, we noticed a big pile of floating scum on the top of the water. There was no way we were getting in that. If the pool and hot tub are that dirty, what else in the hotel is that dirty? The hotel is really close to the beach which makes it so promising. With a few upgrades this could be a lovely hotel but until those get fixed, we will not be staying here again.

Leak in window and had to change rooms due to all of water was coming in window seal. Power went out for over 12 hours. No generator.

The automatic door at the only entrance is broken and you have to slide it open so you can get in. The front desk was okay. Our room was almost barren. It's a big hotel but the only other guests where in the room above mine and the room next to mine. Then the power went out. Can't swim in the pool or the hot tub with no power. Can't turn on the heat with no power. Just a crap trip that I will never repeat

The rooms are not listed correctly. We got a Jr Suite which said it has 2 queen beds and a queen pullout couch. The couch did NOT pull out which left some of our kids without a place to sleep. I feel like we overpaid for a 2 queen bed room because it was listed as a 3 queen bed room. The pool was also very murky, I’m hoping it was from everyone’s sunscreen. It was warm though which was nice.

I know its an old hotel, there arent any new ones in Ocean Shores. But they clearly dumped a ton of money on a front lobby renovation, which looks great. The room was disgusting, there was long black hairs hanging from the toilet seat, and in the bed sheets. Do they even change the sheets between guests? There was a mirror in the room that someone had drawn a face on that was super obviously in your face and not cleaned. The night stand was covered in dust and had been kicked in or broken somehow. The tv got like 3 channels. The bathroom door had mold stains and several door patches placed on it where it had been damaged. I lifted the bedding up to look at the mattress and it had a date of 2014 written on it. I would not stay here again.

The room were extremely dirty filth everywhere old dry food on the carpet by the tv in the room. The bathroom had hair all over the place the toilet had poop stains. The AC wasn’t working properly. They charged us a smoking fee after 5 hours of checking out they said we smoked weed. We aren’t even smokers at all.. they also had a bunch of chemicals (sodium bicarbonate) at the pool and no towels at all.

Had to be moved due to noisy family rooms on 2nd floor. Carpets throughout property are dirty and stained. Air conditioner unit falling off wall and unsafe. Dead insects in windowsills and property is very tired and in need of refit. Very expensive for a bucket and spade hotel not very near to a dirty beach that cars drive on.

This place is a mess. Outside junk piles. Random stuff sitting around. Common areas dirty and junky. Common areas don’t seem to be air conditioned. Breakfast was cold (like the warmers weren’t on). Breakfast room very hot and a complete mess. We were definitely gouged for a July 4th stay at $450 for one night. I wouldn’t stay here again for free. Our room was clean but that’s the only area that was. Beds uncomfortable and had plastic mattress pads underneath which were noisy and hot for sleeping.

Check in was easy and the front desk staff were nice. We were given a room on the "first" floor (half a floor up from the reception/ground floor) which is also the floor with the pool. Unfortunately this was the last room available and we booked late so we took what was open...which meant hearing children RUNNING up and down the hall from the elevator to the pool all evening long. The bed in our room (109) was soft...but had zero support and we both bent in half while sleeping, it was not very comfortable. The pillows are smaller than a couch throw pillow and we were only given 3 for 2 people. Thankfully they brought us 2 more pillows but it still wasn't quite enough for two people given how super small they were. They have a continental breakfast but unfortunately for us, it didn't open until 7am. We're early risers and checked out by 6am so we didn't get to experience it. The rooms appear to have been "updated" recently but mostly just paint and accessories were updated, nothing major. The bathroom door was warped, the frame was rusted, the AC worked but it wasn't the greatest, the bathroom fan sounded like a 747 taking off, and other things in the room showed age. All in all, given the price of the room (one night, over $250) we definitely expected a bit more.

The staff was helpful and responded to our needs. The breakfast was good. Our problem was we could hear the neighbor next door and the neighbor upstairs making constant noise until well after 10 pm. The walls seem to be very thin and the floors creaky.

Our unit overall was 4 of 5. The place was clean, the A/C worked well, the water pressure and the rain shower were top notch. The little living quarters next to the king bed was a pleasant surprise. The mattress was average 3 of 5.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was very spacious. The A/C worked well (it was actually hot there!). The hotel is also a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hotel was quiet overnight, so we slept quite well. The pool and hot tub were nice, though we didn't really use them. The fitness room doesn't have much. Just a couple of treadmills. The morning breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and other standards like waffles and cereal. Unfortunately, there were some issues while we were there. The internet for the entire facility was out. When we inquired at the front desk, they said it had been out for days. The odd thing is the person at the desk gave us instructions on how to connect to the Wifi when we checked in??? We asked for an extra blanket, and the front desk said they'd send one up shortly. It never arrived. Otherwise, it was a nice visit.

Great location. Walking distance to beach and coffee shop. Breakfast was actually pretty good, dining area was a bit crowded but I just ate in my room. Bed was not very comfortable, too firm for my liking but it may be fine for others. I would stay here again.

We picked this hotel because it was centrally located in Ocean Shores, affordable rates for good-sized rooms, and because it had a pool and hot tub. We had two junior suites which each had two queen beds, a separated area for a sitting area with a sort-of kitchenette, and a jetted bathtub. The rooms were clean and nicely anointed (plenty of soaps, shampoos, lotions, and towels). But there were a few things we found less than stellar including: the bathtub was a bit slippery and hard to get in and out of -especially for us older folks. The separate sitting area has a wall between the sitting area and bed area, which had a big cut-out in it so you could see through it to outside. Sounds great, but no way to close it so I would get ready for bed, in the bed area thinking I haf privacy and then look up and realize that someone outside could have seen me. Oopsy! Lol. The beds seemed to have memory foam mattresses but were super firm and made for an uncomfortable night. And the last thing we found annoying was the kitchenette area. While it was lovely to have a little fridge, microwave, and sink... there were no paper towels (or towels or washclothes) there, nor were there any plates or eating utinsels... which took a lot of the functionality of the kitchenette away. Also the coffee they provided (in little filter pouches) was rather horrid. So while I think this hotel was decently priced, clean, and had a very nice staff, I don't know that we would stay there again.

The mattresses are old. My husband works at serta and the mattress we had was made in the 1980's. Everything else was fabulous. But we won't be back until the mattresses get changed.

The manager looked putout when I was checking in. The first room they gave us was occupied. The second room was uncleaned and same with the third. Manager stated we would get a discount, never got one. I would be shocked if it was an open a year from now, if it wasn’t for location it would get a 0. The only thing good was mikes seafood. Never stay here.

Wouldn't honor type of room or price booked through Expedia

The property is well located close to the beach and the rooms and amenities were quite nice for the price. We did have some issues with checking in (we were charged but the room was given to someone else) and we were then charged twice initially for the room but it all was sorted out. It is close to the beach and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly good!

Staffs are friendly and coperative.

Lack of staffing resulted in several issues not being addressed. No front desk assistance when needed.

Stood at the front desk for 20min waiting to check in. The front desk person left a note with a phone number. The number, which I called several times, had no answer. By this time there was 3 other groups waiting to check in or cancel reservations. I couldn't cancel because my time limit to do so expired. Otherwise I would have quickly went down to the casino's hotel or Shilo Inn which was next door. When the front desk person got back they muttered something about not feeling well. But a guest said they had just brought them a pillow before they came back to the desk. So who knows. Lobby bathroom had no toilet paper or soap for 2 days. The room windows were dirty and had no screens also not sure they locked either. Other than that the room was fine. Breakfast was fine.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay it was our first time staying here. The room was clean, and the breakfast was amazing. This hotel is very close to the beach and gift shops we will defiantly be staying again soon.

Cant beat the location. It's right next to the beach entrance making it super easy to walk or drive over. Also close to many great dining areas and shopping. Simple but great breakfast, nice indoor pool & hot tub. Cant beat it!

The breakfast was excellent!

People in the breakfast area were looking for milk, for cereal. The staff had to go to the store to get some. Also they ran out of paper plates. Fruit flies were also an issue. After many visits, unfortunately this location is headed in the wrong direction. Unsolicited conversation by strangers also staying there had the same feelings and felt the need to bring it up.

I purchased two nights at this hotel for the same price I commonly pay for four-star hotels, so I had high expectations. The rooms were clean; housekeeping and maintenance staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. The food at breakfast was of decent quality, but the facilities are too small and the hours too narrow to serve the huge amount of people while it is available on the weekends. There was no coffee available until breakfast was served. This is a family hotel in a great location, but it is not a luxurious experience. For families I would consider it a good value.

The room was nice, seemingly clean, and large. Weather was not great so could not see beach. The biggest complaint was the breakfast at which there was a swarm of flies hovering in the breakfast area. Disgusting! Otherwise the stay was great.

Wonderful view in a beautiful room. Very comfortable and staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and replenished often as needed. We also enjoyed the shower and roomy counter.
