Our room was very clean and the staff was very nice. They have gym and an indoor pool which were a bonus for the kids. The location is close to the national park and only 20 minutes drive to downtown. Coffee and tea with muffins were good enough for us as breakfast.

:Clean rooms of normal size, fully equipped kitchen, pool, sauna, hot tub. You can buy a beer or wine on the property but at a high price. 25 minutes from downtown, close to a north beach. -: Bring a sticky fly catcher, you will need it. The pool was cold, may 20C at most. The hot tub was broken at the time. The shower in the pool area had lots of bugs inside.

Hotel is nice and clean but not much around. We booked for the pool and hot tub but the hot tub was not functional when we got there which was quite disappointing. Breakfast was muffins and coffee only so should be listed as continental and not breakfast included.

Very nice, clean, modern room. Indoor saltwater pool was great. Sauna and hot tub were excellent too. Friendly and helpful staff. Only a few minutes drive to Brackly Beach! Nearby drive in movie theatre is a nice bonus as well.

The pool and gym were open which was nice. Both clean . Outdoor hot tub not working. Breakfast coffee and muffin. Great breakfast at airport restaurant. Also not far from beach and park.

We went a few nights during July (high season) - motel was in a field…minutes drive from the beach…room had terrible wifi service and water pressure/debit to flush the toilet took forever - even though the beds were comfy and room was clean but beginning to age…and crying out for a makeover…in short, for the high season rate, you can do better on the island…if price is low, this is a good value play. Make sure no one is in the room above as this is not a concrete construct and you can hear them. Pool was clean and so was the jacuzzi.

Arrived at 7 pm, office closed, key was left taped to front door. Staff was suppose to be there until 10 pm. Room was ok, bathroom had hair on floor and heat register. No one at front desk to ask for vacuum. Nothing open this late in season (9/19) to get food at 7 pm. Probably better during summer season.

Pool area was not super clean. Grounds are really nice. Room was super clean, staff friendly but limited hours at front desk. Not much selection for food close by. With saying all that. I would definitely stay again. Clean room and comfortable beds for the win.

Very clean room, it looks like newly built. Soundproofing is OK, no noise from other rooms. Very quiet at night. Almost no mosquitoes. Parking is very convenient, we parked the car directly in front of the room. The staff are very welcoming, we checked in late, and they still have people working. Housekeeping is done every day, and the bed is the same as the first day of arrival. The shower room is very big, no need to worry about crowding. I think it is very comfortable for two people to stay in one room. The microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator in the room can be used normally and cleaned very well. My friend and I are visiting PEI for the first time, and we both think this Inn is very good. It is not far to drive to nearby shops and restaurants.

Many bugs in pool shower..notnot to see. No fan in the bathroom The coffee holder had not been cleaned in a while there was a build up of old water in the bottom. No dinning room. The room was clean, well kept. The property was well kept. The office staff were great. Would we come back yes, provided the bugs were gone and the coffee pots were cleaned as the should be.

The room was clean and a good size, bed was comfy, location was great carpet was stinky, bring your own shampoo and soap because there was only one of each there for our 3 day stay, and they didnt replenish. As for the coffee and muffins from 8 to 10 in the morning, they were horrible. Overhall, for the price we paid, they should provide toiletries and breakfast as hotels like holiday inn and best Western We have stayed at this hotel before and everything was provided, we will search for different accommodations on our next trip to PEI

The staff were friendly and the room clean. But we did not have hot water for showering. The water was barely warm at best. We thought maybe taking a shower at night, the hot water supply was lacking (which shouldn’t be) but when my husband tried taking a shower at 5am due to a migraine, the water still wasn’t heated. We informed the staff in the morning, but of course we left after breakfast and no one ever showed up to remedy the situation while we were there.

We were so happy with our first two nights, we decided to extend our stay by two additional nights! - room was updated and absolutely spotless when we arrived! - bathroom was updated and beautiful! We needed an accessible room and it was great! - breakfast was only for a few limited items but each of the items were delicious (even the coffee!) - the view of the property from our room was stunning! And being able to watch the Osprey birds in the nest feeding her babies was such a cute ‘treat’ for our family! - having laundry available was a bonus

The stay was quite good. The room had enough space and the beds were good. The room service was only available on request. The accommodation is Motel-like with the cars parking in front of the rooms. This can cause quite some noise from your neighbors. In addition, the Brackley Beach Northwinds is located at a crossroad with noise of the traffic. Unfortunately, I forgot my Swiss watch in the room when we left the Brackley Beach and PEI. The positive point was that the housekeeping brought the watch to the reception and they contacted me via email. We had several conversations and the Brackley Beach Northwinds promised me several time to send me the watch by post. I intended to refund all expenses and efforts they have, to get my Swiss watch back. Despite all promises, I didn’t get it back and I assume that now the manager of the Brackley Beach has taken the ownership of my watch. It’s a shame that they misused my trust and that they are not able to provide a little extra service.

We loved this place. It’s spacious, with enough room to settle in and be comfortable. The location is terrific. However the hot water never lasted long enough for both of us to get a hot shower in the mornings and the Wi-Fi was horrible; we hardly ever could connect. In spite of these issues, we would stay here again.

Northwinds has one big asset…. a young, sweet gal with blond hair who was super helpful on the morning of my last day. Wish I remembered her name. What I can say is the bed was way too soft. I (and three other individuals) tried to get coffee and other food(?) at the reception area but the doors were locked. It was 8:30 a.m. A phone call to the number listed was answered by some male who said they don’t open till 9 a.m. The sign said 8 am. When I checked in I asked for a map of the area or other information about the area. She said they didn’t have any. Travelers need this kind of info. Overall, I think travelers could be better served.

After a rough start on our first night Heather from the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She gave us great places to go eat and things to do and really made us feel at home. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, close to Brackley Beach and 20 minutes to Charlottetown. Super friendly staff. Coffee and muffins available every morning. We were so happy with this accomodation we extended our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! It was very clean. Property was beautiful. Roxanne on the front desk was amazing! Thank you again for the wonderful day!!! PS. Be aware quiet time is at 10pm if you like to sit out late like we do, so that was a bit of a bummer.

It looks absolutely new. The room was big and clean. Good to stay for a night. What we where suprised about is the office was closed when we arrived. We've read it should be open up to 10pm. We came 8:45 pm. The door was closed and no light inside. The person left us envelop with a key with my name on it on the door. He opened the door and only told us: any questions, call this number...and shut the door...it was not nice.

Very clean room, it looks like newly built. Soundproofing is OK, no noise from other rooms. Very quiet at night. Almost no mosquitoes. Parking is very convenient, we parked the car directly in front of the room. The staff are very welcoming, we checked in late, and they still have people working. Housekeeping is done every day, and the bed is the same as the first day of arrival. The shower room is very big, no need to worry about crowding. I think it is very comfortable for two people to stay in one room. The microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator in the room can be used normally and cleaned very well. My friend and I are visiting PEI for the first time, and we both think this Inn is very good. It is not far to drive to nearby shops and restaurants.

I found the man at the front desk extremely rude. He said in a very rude tone, "let's make sure your credit card doesn't decline before I give you a key". I had paid in full before I got there! We found the room quite run down. I will not go back.

Room was great once we got in it. Biggest complaint was we we were told our room wasn't ready when we showed up at 4:20pm. Owner said he was short staffed unexpectedly. We decided to go get pizza in Charlottetown and room was just done on our return at 6:25pm. So 2.5 hours wait for our room.

Great location, close to Brackley Beach and 20 minutes to Charlottetown. Super friendly staff. Coffee and muffins available every morning. We were so happy with this accomodation we extended our stay.

Pool area was not super clean. Grounds are really nice. Room was super clean, staff friendly but limited hours at front desk. Not much selection for food close by. With saying all that. I would definitely stay again. Clean room and comfortable beds for the win.

The pool and gym were open which was nice. Both clean . Outdoor hot tub not working. Breakfast coffee and muffin. Great breakfast at airport restaurant. Also not far from beach and park.

Excellent stay! Highly recommend. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, fast internet.Quick access to park, close to a fee eating options as well as Richards seafood. 20 min drive to Charlottetown.

The room was clean and a good size, bed was comfy, location was great carpet was stinky, bring your own shampoo and soap because there was only one of each there for our 3 day stay, and they didnt replenish. As for the coffee and muffins from 8 to 10 in the morning, they were horrible. Overhall, for the price we paid, they should provide toiletries and breakfast as hotels like holiday inn and best Western We have stayed at this hotel before and everything was provided, we will search for different accommodations on our next trip to PEI

Great central position in PEI so easy drive to Charlottetown and to other locations like Cavendish (where we attended Sommo Festival) Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, easy in/out. Simple breakfast but coffee was good and blueberry muffins fresh. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Go to Dalvay by the Sea for breakfast if you want a treat.

Hotel is nice and clean but not much around. We booked for the pool and hot tub but the hot tub was not functional when we got there which was quite disappointing. Breakfast was muffins and coffee only so should be listed as continental and not breakfast included.

Large clean room with comfortable bed.Did laundry, $2 to wash and $2 to dry seemed reasonable. Nice touch with fresh muffins in morning even though it wasn't a breakfast included reservation

Location and availability are the primary plusses along with clean rooms, comfortable beds and good cooling system. . No style, minimalistic decor inside and out. Breakfast is minimalistic. Decent muffin and coffee. Price is quite high for what you get, but near excellent beach and available when other places are not.

Many bugs in pool shower..notnot to see. No fan in the bathroom The coffee holder had not been cleaned in a while there was a build up of old water in the bottom. No dinning room. The room was clean, well kept. The property was well kept. The office staff were great. Would we come back yes, provided the bugs were gone and the coffee pots were cleaned as the should be.

Loved being able to use the jacuzzi pool and sauna after our walk. We just wanted to watch the US Open Tennis and they had limited channels. Very friendly and helpful staff

Die Lage ist sehr gut für die Nationalparks in der Nähe, aber auch nur eine kurze Fahrt von Charlottetown entfernt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einem sehr grossen Bad. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Mini split type air conditioning was great. We were able to park very close to our room on the first floor. We appreciated the laundry room! The pool and hot tub were nice amenities. Unfortunately, we found flies in our room on arrival. The lady at the desk had no spray or swatter. We resorted to a rolled up newspaper and it became a sport. Evidently it was fly season on PEI as we had them even worse at a different property, who did supply a swatter. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing is perfect in this world. We enjoyed our stay.
