Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, there are not enough parking spots for all the hotel guests. They will valet your car to an offsite spot and they offer shuttle service, so you won’t need your car. You can request beach chairs and an umbrella and they will set up for you on the beach. The pool is very, very small.

Hotel/room was immaculate. My room did not have an ocean view; it overlooked a residential street which was fine. Very nice kitchenette that I didn\'t use. My only complaint was an additional "resort fee" upon arrival--the shuttle van service, heated pool, beach chairs and umbrella are seasonal amenities not available in December, so I essentially paid for parking and Internet, which seemed excessive in the off season.

Very clean, friendly staff, right across the street from the beach (stay included beach chairs, umbrella and towels that were bright to the beach by hotel staff). Hotel transportation was perfect, we didn’t move our car all weekend. Highly recommend ICONA!

The property is in good condition/new. Staff was friendly. However everything seems to be on the the small side. The room was smaller than I expected. The parking lot was small. We came back later in the evening after dinner, there weren't any parking spots left. Also there was a resort's free on top of the price from Expedia

The staff is great, friendly and professional. The shuttle service brings you anywhere you would like so you don't have to drive and pay for parking. This very well may be the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. Some very good eating options within walking distance and the shuttle will take you to ones farther away. Highly recommended!!

Clean room, comfy bed but room was smaller than expected. Location was great, loved the umbrella/chair service and the shuttle service and both drivers we had were excellent, so friendly and nice. Parking is limited on site, but we didn’t move our car all weekend. Would come back to Icona but not book through expedia due to the $100 plus resort fee they charge and we couldn’t upgrade or change room since it was booked through them as well.

Beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach. Beautifully appointed rooms. Staff is terrific; very helpful! They offer a shuttle (for most of the day) that can take you anywhere on the island. Pool is small, but we spent most of our time on the beach so didn’t matter to us. They also offer a service to have chairs and umbrellas brought to the beach for you and they set them up and take them back at the end of the day as well. Really great service!

For the most part we liked the stay, it seemed very clean but we had some ants in the room. Also we weren’t told that beach tags were included until after we purchased them. So 40 dollars there.

How clean everything was every day they’re cleaning the elevator. Everything looked great. Our room was always very clean The front desk people were very polite. The pool was very clean. Couldn’t ask a better vacation spot we shall return.

Our room was infested with ants, told the front desk, they had the room re-cleaned, ants were back in hours, told the front desk again and they had the room deep cleaned, and it smelled like a lot of bleach was used. Again, the ants were back. The kids were freaked out because there were ants in the beds, on the dressers, in the bathroom, on the walls. I was on ant killing duty all week while we were in the room. Very disappointing experience, fell way short of expectations.

pros: - Check in was super easy - our room was quiet for the most part, only heard neighbors late at night - the coffee in the room was good, i wish there was more coffee creamer available - Housekeeping was quick and pleasant Cons: - cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t what i expected or hoped for - I requested special accommodations for my son’s birthday that were ignored. (but that’s not like a big deal) - parking was limited (but street parking available) overall: i would stay again, i’d just hope the bathroom would be cleaner - -

We had to leave early because we thought my wife was having a miscarriage and the staff/management were very unsympathetic. Refused to give us a refund or any credit for the trip which we had to cut short. They didn’t have water when we checked in and the entire first day the water was brown. We could not shower or give our girls a bath. $1,250 a night. Expedia offered a refund but the hotel management declined. Would not stay or receive this hotel to anyone. Dirty and cheap. Not worth $200 a night.

While the room is beautiful and updated the AC unit is NOT. It is old and NOISY.... it woke me up several times throughtout the night when turning off or on. I have never had such a horrible night's sleep. NOT WORTH THE $$$. The check out staff said eventually they are updating the ac system. I will NOT recommend anyone stay here until that happens. If you are a light sleeper forget this place!

Totally fine. If you're going to spend most of your stay at the beach or out seeing the sights downtown, it's an okay home base. Parking is cramped and there aren't enough spots for everybody in the parking lot, but there is a shuttle that will take you to select locations. Rooms are clean, but beginning to show their age, and the AC units make a lot of noise, which might not be ideal for light sleepers. The staff is professional and friendly and provided great service.

Very clean, beautiful room with ocean view. Quick and easy check in and parking. It's a bit off from downtown but we took the car and there's no problem. I have severe nasal allergies. At no time did I sneeze like crazy. Sheets and bed were a dream, very comfortable. Great place.

Quiet, small, somewhat fancy hotel, nestled adjacent to residential neighborhood. The kitchenette (microwave, mini-fridge, counter, sink) was well stocked with dishwashing soap and paper towels provided. The comfortable room with bright furnishings was a bit tight with 2 queen beds, and not much surface area to lay your stuff. The balcony with two chairs and a small table was a nice extra though our view was of the next door building and yard. The parking is the ground floor of the hotel and was full though there was free street parking adjacent to the hotel and was not a problem for us in October. The door to the stairway was not locked at night and should have been accessible only with a hotel key. The shuttle was a very nice amenity to get us to the downtown area (a bit less than a mile away so also walkable) and back without having to worry about driving/parking. I would have appreciated a clearer opportunity to decline nightly sheet/towel changes for sustainability reasons--maybe I missed this.

This hotel was clean and quiet, but the beds were not very comfortable and the "queen" sized beds were not queens at all - they were only doubles. These two factors led to us not getting a good night's rest, which is kind of the whole point of a hotel.

The staff was level 5 for performance. So friendly and customer oriented! Very clean, upscale decor, free coffee, free beach chairs and umbrella with staff set-up on the beach. Van to transport you anywhere in town and back. So easy! Highly recommend!!!

We were in Cape May for the first time on a "sister's trip"' From the moment we arrived....everything was terrific. The valet was so friendly and helpful we felt comfortable right away. The front desk clerk was so great and very informative about the area. We were thrilled with the room and when we used the shuttle we were amazed at how convenient and accessible the service was. the drivers were so friendly and very helpful with recommendations of places to go and restaurants to try. We were sad to go... We are looking forward to coming back as soon as we can.

Having a shuttle service was fantastic, we did not move the car in 3 days and went everywhere! The front desk staff JoJo and Trish were so helpful and friendly they enhanced our stay! We will return.

The staff is great, friendly and professional. The shuttle service brings you anywhere you would like so you don't have to drive and pay for parking. This very well may be the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. Some very good eating options within walking distance and the shuttle will take you to ones farther away. Highly recommended!!

We had to leave early because we thought my wife was having a miscarriage and the staff/management were very unsympathetic. Refused to give us a refund or any credit for the trip which we had to cut short. They didn’t have water when we checked in and the entire first day the water was brown. We could not shower or give our girls a bath. $1,250 a night. Expedia offered a refund but the hotel management declined. Would not stay or receive this hotel to anyone. Dirty and cheap. Not worth $200 a night.

We loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile for anything we needed. Our TV wasn’t working and the night receptionist came to our room and fixed it herself. We loved that the room had a patio and windows that we could open to let the fresh air in. The shuttle was convenient and the shuttle driver, John, was also super nice. Everything was incredibly clean and the location can’t be beat as we were only steps away from the beach. Can’t wait to stay again!

The couple of downfalls are the lack of parking spaces available and it is a mile walk away from most activities and restaurants. They do offer shuttle service. Of the 3 people working the front desk, one was excellent, the other two appeared that they would rather be somewhere else. Not mean, just disinterested.

Very nice quiet property right on the beach. About a mile from the downtown. We went during off season so not a lot going on or areas open, everything open was mostly a drive away but to be expected. Hotel was small, but perfect for us! The comfort of everything and cleanliness was the absolute best of the best! Traveled with two little ones and they loved hanging out in the room too.

Our stay was pleasant. We spent two nights and three days on property. Excellent service, quiet, clean, and beach service was great. The hotel provides umbrella, chairs, and towels. Hotel is directly across the street from the beach. Although all restaurants are walkable, there is no restaurant or food on site.

Inadequate guest parking. We had to park on the street with a car filled with expensive purchases from out trip. This is inexcusable for a "luxury" hotel. No food available for breakfast. The only thing they give you for breakfast is coffee that is undrinkable.

Great stay! We had a wonderful stay at ICONA Cape May! The room was great, comfortable, and clean, and the shuttle service was incredibly convenient and made getting around so easy. We also loved the beach chair service—it made spending the day at the beach completely stress-free. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

we loved it here! it's a quiet hotel, right across the street from the beach. we do wish the pool was bigger, but it had a nice shallow area to soak and then a deeper end as well. luckily, both times we used the pool there was only a couple of other people there so the size wasn't an issue at all. we LOVED the fact that the hotel provided complimentary chairs + beach umbrellas. their staff even brought them to the beach and set them up for you! parking was also easy and convenient, we were able to park a few feet from the lobby door. all in all, we really enjoyed our weekend and would definitely stay again.

Parking was a little tight and sometimes not available onsight, but a valet always available to take the car and park it if you didn't find a space underneath the building in the garage area. Staff very nice. Let us come a little early and go down to the beach. Had beach tags, chairs, umbrellas and towels. Chairs could use a touch up but really nice to have someone set up everything for us.
