Lovely place to stay. Comfortable. Many stairs. Vehicle required, but parking is limited. Be very careful to not park in the lower lot, as it is chained at a very early hour in the evening, and you will not be able to access your vehicle until morning.

This cozy property was conveniently located right at Boulders Beach with easy access to the beach and penguins waddling through the parking lot at sunrise. Parking was a little crowded during the day but cleared out in the evening. The on-site restaurant offered tasty dinner and we were always met with friendly staff. We were also an easy drive from Simon's Town for other food options. Cape Point was a bit of a drive, maybe 45 minutes but made for an excellent day outing! The room was clean with a well-stocked kitchenette, nice shower, and warm blankets for the chilly weather we encountered. Overall, a very lovely place to stay!

While a simple accommodation, it is clean and the location is priceless-adjacent to Boulders Beach. The staff, while on-site were helpful. I had read an earlier post that they did not serve dinner. That must have changed recently as their cafe was open until 7:30 pm. Closed early, but helpful to just hang out as we only arrived late afternoon.

This is a great property for penguin spotting as the penguins were right outside the property after the carpark. The front desk and cafe at the property will close after 5pm though so you need to ubereats or drive out for dinner. It can be very dark outside and the property is not enclosed so strangers can come to your room, so do remember to lock your door. This property has no AC and one small portable fan is provided in the room. The room can get stuffy in Summer. Property has no carpark of its own so you need to park your car outside the property which is an open public carpark. So park at your vehicle at your risk.

Das Zimmer Nr 1 ist abgenutzt am Waschbecken gab es kein kaltes Wasser der Wasserhahn war defekt. Beim Frühstück wurden wir vergessen und haben 1 Stunde gewartet. Die Türe zum gemeinsamen Aufenthalt war abgeschlossen so dass wir nicht hinein kommen konnten. Die anderen Zimmer sahen von außen gut . Wir kommen aber auf jedenfall nicht wieder.

Die Lage zum Boulders Beach einzigartig, wunderschöne Spaziergänge am Strand möglich ebenso ganz nah zur Pinguinkolonie. Zimmer klein aber ganz nett eingerichtet Es gab leider keinen passenden Steckdosenadapter,,keinen Fön , Frühstück ( Müsli) war schrecklich mit Aufpreis 70 R, absolut nicht zu empfehlen, Toilettenspülung defekt Die Unterkunft lebt von der Top Lage

Very basic accommodation but location is perfect, right in boulders beach. Staff are super friendly, communal fridge to store drinks and food. Rooms do not have a fridge or Tv. U can take your own drinks and have take aways on the stunning veranda and watch the sunset. The receptionist Cailin is so professional.

Cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a Hilton, this is not for you. It is a very friendly small hotel right next to the penguins. The staff so friendly and helpful and the food was way beyond what I was expecting. Could not do enough for us. Thank you.

Wir hatten eigentlich eine andere Unterkunft gebucht, die uns dann kurz zuvor abgesagt hatte, so dass wir hierhin "ausgewichen" sind. Wir waren in Nachhinein aber sehr glücklich über das Schicksal, da diese Unterkunft viel besser & schöner war! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt bei den Pinguinen an Strand, man hat beim Frühstück und Abendessen einen tollen Blick auf das Meer, das Essen ist sehr lecker und das ganze Team total nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Herzlichen Dank!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is by the ocean and right next to the penguin colony. It is an ideal location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazi g hotel. You sre right next to the penguin beach park and all of the dive sites. The employees were awesome tland thier food was incredible.

The rooms and staff are nice, but what puts this hotel far ahead of any other is its adjacency to the penguins. Getting out to see them early in the morning is easy because the path is right there, and even better is the nighttime, when penguins cross the parking lot to go up to their spaces in town!

This cozy property was conveniently located right at Boulders Beach with easy access to the beach and penguins waddling through the parking lot at sunrise. Parking was a little crowded during the day but cleared out in the evening. The on-site restaurant offered tasty dinner and we were always met with friendly staff. We were also an easy drive from Simon's Town for other food options. Cape Point was a bit of a drive, maybe 45 minutes but made for an excellent day outing! The room was clean with a well-stocked kitchenette, nice shower, and warm blankets for the chilly weather we encountered. Overall, a very lovely place to stay!

Wir hatten eigentlich eine andere Unterkunft gebucht, die uns dann kurz zuvor abgesagt hatte, so dass wir hierhin "ausgewichen" sind. Wir waren in Nachhinein aber sehr glücklich über das Schicksal, da diese Unterkunft viel besser & schöner war! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt bei den Pinguinen an Strand, man hat beim Frühstück und Abendessen einen tollen Blick auf das Meer, das Essen ist sehr lecker und das ganze Team total nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Herzlichen Dank!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is by the ocean and right next to the penguin colony. It is an ideal location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a Hilton, this is not for you. It is a very friendly small hotel right next to the penguins. The staff so friendly and helpful and the food was way beyond what I was expecting. Could not do enough for us. Thank you.

While a simple accommodation, it is clean and the location is priceless-adjacent to Boulders Beach. The staff, while on-site were helpful. I had read an earlier post that they did not serve dinner. That must have changed recently as their cafe was open until 7:30 pm. Closed early, but helpful to just hang out as we only arrived late afternoon.

Das Zimmer Nr 1 ist abgenutzt am Waschbecken gab es kein kaltes Wasser der Wasserhahn war defekt. Beim Frühstück wurden wir vergessen und haben 1 Stunde gewartet. Die Türe zum gemeinsamen Aufenthalt war abgeschlossen so dass wir nicht hinein kommen konnten. Die anderen Zimmer sahen von außen gut . Wir kommen aber auf jedenfall nicht wieder.

Amazi g hotel. You sre right next to the penguin beach park and all of the dive sites. The employees were awesome tland thier food was incredible.

Beautiful location. Hotel had its beauties but could have a few more updates such as better blinds for the windows. First day penguin noises woke us up at 6am. Staff could have been more helpful at times. One young male staff member walked right by my wife trying to carry her luggage up the stairs. I wasnt present at the time. There was no ramp. Other staff member need to give a more proffessional answer then a simple “no” when youre asking question. A couple other staff members were kind. Affordable place to stay if youre american for about $172 a night. Breakfast was good. The pancakes there are crepes.

Cottage muy antiguo. Las camas estaban limpias y eran cómodas pero al ser un edificio tan antiguo, había mucha olor a "viejo". Si no te importa estar en algo muy viejo aunque con todos los servicios, es tu lugar. Insisto, muy viejo pero completísimo y funcional. Como complemento, vinieron los pingüinos a cantarnos una serenata. Otro punto a favor es que estaba justo frente a la colonia de pingüinos...

This place is fantastic! It’s within walking distance of Boulders Beach and the penguins, which made the location really special. The views are beautiful, especially at sunrise. It’s a little removed from the downtown area (about a 30-minute walk), so the surroundings feel a bit isolated. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay.
