Casa de Fruta Cabins, Inn & RV Park

Everything was great except for the pool it was dirty and they didn’t offer pool towels. I asked the maid and she was not friendly and made us walk all the way back to our cabin to collect the towels we used to bathe so she could provide us with pool towels.

The Inn is outdated but served its purpose. The room and grounds were clean. The bed was comfy. We ate at the restaurant 3 times. We shopped at the store twice. We recommend the pomegranate and mango wine. The ice cream was tastey. We checked in after hours and were able to get our room key at the Chevron. We recommend it and will stay again.

Besides the hotel, there are onsite shops, a restaurant, gas station and small rides for kids. In the rooms, although not listed, we did have a mini fridge and microwave. The property has a rustic, farm atmosphere to it and the shops offer a huge variety of fruits and nuts, and another shop has wines and a deli.

I had a wonderful experience at Casa de Fruta Inn. The property is clean, well-maintained, and full of charm. My room was spotless upon arrival—fresh linens, a tidy bathroom, and thoughtful details that made the stay comfortable and relaxing. What really sets this inn apart are the surrounding amenities. It's not just a place to sleep—it's part of a unique roadside attraction that includes a fruit stand, wine tasting room, ice cream parlor, and even a vintage carousel. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to unwind and explore without needing to leave the property. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the peaceful setting, with its open green space and rustic touches, made it feel like a mini getaway. Whether you're passing through or planning a short escape, Casa de Fruta Inn offers a clean, comfortable stay with a touch of nostalgia and plenty of conveniences. Highly recommended!

Everything is sooo convenient. Whatever you need is here and you never have to leave. Great prices and awesome staff in all their stores, restaurants and services.

The pool area and play areas close too early. Everything shuts down at 6:00 PM. The pool and jacuzzi should stay open a few hours later. We couldn’t stay outside to do our smores a lot of wild life came to our area after dark coyotes and foxes. Be careful with your small children.

This was a hidden gem find for us. Rooms and amenities were very nice. Food, gas and supplies very close. Had a nice pool although we didn’t use it.

Motel is right next to RV park so we can join friends who are camping. Really good restaurant, shopping, entertainment for kids.

What I like about the property is that it has a 24 hour gas station. It is within walking distance. What i disliked was that we couldn't take a shower because there was no water pressure.

The cabins have everything that you need. Very quiet and peaceful. Kids enjoyed the pool. Would definitely stay again 😊

We loved everything about Casa De Fruta. We booked a room at the Inn, had a nice dinner and shopped for wonderful treats. However, we sadly had to pack up and leave at 7:30 pm the same day we checked in, because the carpet in the room was so filthy and smelled so bad. So we made the long trip home 😢 I will say that the staff was wonderful and let us check in an hour early and were so friendly. The room was otherwise very clean, nice shower, bed seemed comfortable. We enjoyed strolling around relaxing. If the carpet was removed I would stay again in a heartbeat. It was such a bummer to have to pack up and leave because of the foul odor.

Room wasnt ready and clean at 4pm. Train, carousel ect were not operating because of heat. Restaurant sent us outside to wait in the heat for a table. Took over an hour for our food. Horrible experience.

When I was booking, I have a party of 4, I had to purchase 2 rooms.my sister who choose this location said there was in fact a room available to accommodate 4. I went back to look for it and again it only offered the same. So I went ahead and purchased the two rooms. 1. We were all the way across the building from each other. 2. The stated “cabin” was not a cabin. 3. One room the blinds were broken had to close each slate one by one. 4. Found a roach in one of the rooms. 5. Same room as the roach no hot water, could not take a shower. 6. The shower curtain has pink mold on the bottom. Black mold was in spots in the shower. 7. The TV was not clear, was fuzzy. 8. The small coffee pot was in the bathroom where people poop and for sure in need of a good cleaning as it had white scale where you would put the water. 9. Bed was lumpy pillow was oversized and not comfortable. 10. Directions was not informative. Said we need to go to area 4 which infact was 5. 11. The gas station where we ended up having to check in, was way overpriced. 2 waters 1 bubble water a bag of cheesits was 25.00. 12. My sister who was lucky enough to get a double room that again was offered to her was told when we checked in that they didn’t know we were together but my 2 rooms was booked under the same itinerary with the same credit card. Would not recommend will never stay here ever again. Not worth taking pictures. When we told the lady at the desk the only thing she said was Oh I’m sorry.

The most wonderful gentleman named Richard Hill was so gracious and professional when he called me personally, reaching out to go above and beyond to make sure we had the most beautiful visit. The cabin was amazing- we wanted to bring the whole thing home with us. So clean and cozy with private deck and fire pit and bbq. We didn’t want to leave the cabin! Got a great meal at the restaurant to bring back to the cozy cabin, and of course a selection of sinful munchies from the fruit stand. The beds are clean, cozy and comfortable with premium bedding. The decor simple, rustic, clean and charming. The ladies in the office are so kind, personable and hospitable. We felt like we were coming home! We look forward to our next visit. And we highly recommend the whole property, which is undergoing major renovation to be even more impressive than it already is! The Inn, Cabins, and Campground would be an awesome place for groups, such as family reunions, etc. Thanks again to our favorite place, Casa de Fruta for providing us with a wonderful memory 💝

The whole place was clean and all the appliances were new. The staff was awesome!!! They made the process extremely easy.would definitely come back.

We have stayed here before in their main two queen beds room which was really nice and clean. This time apparently there was a glitch in the system and the room we rented was unavailable. The staff upgraded us to one of their cabins at no additional cost. The cabin was awesome. You’re surrounded by wood. Full kitchen completely stocked. Nice comfortable beds Very clean inside and out. The cabin felt brand new. The whole area was quiet and we all had the best night sleep. We plan on staying here again, but now that we’re spoiled we’ll have to rent a cabin.

I’m so impressed by the cleanliness of the cabins, amazing staff and love the looks of the areas. What I did not like is that I only stay one night, definitely coming back in a few months but staying longer!

The property manager, Daniel greeted us in the morning and was very friendly and chatty (like us). We experienced two earthquakes in the wee hours of the morning. That was AWESOME! The bed was comfy, room neat and clean. My husband made use of the desk, catching up on bills on his laptop. There was a separate table for dining. Fridge and coffee maker included. The leaves were in full autumn color. We will stay here again!

So quiet but needed thorough cleaning.

Friendly check in. Great service in restaurant. But the TV Remote in my room was impossibly difficult too operate which is stupid to have something like that. Way over complicated. Big negative. Went shopping in your store. Everything was very over priced. Seriously? More merchandise would move if the prices were reasonable.

It was nice the outside area was beautiful but no hot water for all the rooms … we all took cold showers. There were five rooms. Second issue … All the tvs were not connected. We had to call for the tv to be set up … we only had three channels.

We were very happy with our stay. The room had lots of great amenities and was very comfortable and clean. The only observation I made was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, which also disrupted the TV signal. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay.

Cool place! Lots to do nearby on the property! I was a bit disappointed bc we wanted to check in like 30 mins early bc we had a wedding to go to & they wouldn’t let us. But, the stay & room itself was very nice.

The hotel was very comfortable and nice and spacious. The yard looked a bit worn, but ok. The restaurant was terrible. The ice cream guy who was scooping was dirty looking and rude.
