Great hotel, beautiful view. Our only suggestion was to have a pillow menu, because the ones on the bed were so bad. Also, parking was pretty expensive considering you pay so much for a room, it should be complimentary. Otherwise we loved it.

We had a fantastic night at the Winchester. We had a great dinner on a last night in the Cape Town in the courtyard and chilled by the pool the next day before our flight back to London. I’d definitely stay again. The room was so cosy, cute and spotless. A lovely boutique feeling hotel in the heart of sea point

A beautiful hotel with great parking facility. Located along the coast line and easy walk of 20 mins up to the main bars and restaurants area or the stadium. Breakfast and all food we ate here along with the service is excellent. All the staff throughout the hotel are very attentive and happy

Our stay at the Winchester was delightful! Rooms were lovely the courtyard very unique and would be spectacular. Had the flowers been in bloom? The most remarkable part about the Winchester was the service staff is uniquely, accommodating, professional, and friendly. We would highly recommend this property.

I loved the stay at Winchester. Very well located in sea point in a beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious, there was parking available for very little additional price, and staff was simply fantastic, vey thoughtful and friendly. I had to checkout around 5 am for and early flight and they prepared a breakfast box to go.

We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping. We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. We will certainly consider staying here again.

Stayed 4 nights junior sea facing suite during Christmas. The staff was super helpful and friendly, shout out to Mukhtar at the front desk who went the extra mile. We enjoyed the restaurant, bar and spa during our stay. The gym is small but outdoor activities abound as does friendly weather so why stay in? One mild irritation was a guest in a neighbouring room smoking a cigar, which seemed odd as the property should be smoke free.

The Winchester was a wondeful place to stay. Less than 10 minutes by Uber to the Waterfront and close to Camps Bay. Sea Point also has some nice dining options and shopping. We felt safe walking around this area, even in the evening The hotel itself is beautiful. The inner courtyard with the bougainvillea is postcard perfect. The service is great and the rooms are nicely appointed and clean. We would love to return some day.

Nice hotel with ocean view , conveniently located in front of a tourist bus stop… windows definitely need sound proof as the street is very noisy plus the wind coming from the beach Breakfast buffet was ok , not so many options Spa is amazing! Staff is very friendly

The service was excellent and very accommodating in every area for our stay….where to visit, best transportation to use, weather reports for the area we wanted to visit, delicious gourmet breakfast every day included with each night we stayed, the front desk and entire staff were very kind, the rooms and entire hotel was exceptionally clean and modern and the location was directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. It was great for long walks along the promenade overlooking the water. I will definitely stay there again. 5*’s for sure!

Very beautiful property. Friendly front office staff. Room was large and clean. Restaurant staff were not particularly attentive and the menus lacked vegan options, if they were available the restaurant staff weren’t sure and couldn’t make clear to us what was or wasn’t available for breakfast or for lunch.

We stayed for 9 nights for a working holiday. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in any part of the world. From the minute we stepped foot into the hotel the service was outstanding. The place is immaculate and the amenities phenomenal. We ate at the hotel several times and the food was excellent. The area is safe and has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. One of the highlights was sitting at Harvey’s Bar watching the sun go down with other guests and local capetonians.

It is situated in a great place and staff are friendly however on the upper floor the rooms are hot as the air conditioning is not working well. Our room was constantly a 24-25 degrees Celsius which was not comfortable.

It’s a very nice boutique hotel. I’m a light sleeper and unfortunately, my room (loft) was on the third floor and directly under a corrugated metal roof. At daylight, seagulls started walking on the roof and woke me. Then the birds (more like angry birds) started to squawk very loudly and did not stop. When out of my room and looked at the roof, I noticed the hotel used a series of wires to prevent the seagulls from landing on the roof. I complained to desk clerk who told me he would tell management, as if it was a new problem. My mistake was not telling the hotel in advance that I needed a quiet room. I usually do, but thought because of thei

This is an old, charming hotel overlooking the ocean in Sea Point and the staff are lovely, especially Talia, the brilliant Duty Manager, who’s fabulous and helpful. Although the hotel was recently refurbished, it needs more work and attention to detail. The gym and spa are still not ready and the new restaurant just opened when we were staying. There’s still work going on and it can be heard at times. We had a suite, 201, facing the ocean, but there is a 4-lane busy, fast road in front of the hotel and traffic noise travels. The current, old double-glazed windows are not sufficient so we had to wear earplugs at night to avoid being woken up around 6am by the traffic. Our room’s AC/heating system wasn’t working either, so we had no heating for 6 days, even though it was cold outside being winter. We were given a small blow heater instead. Someone came twice to look at the heating, but couldn’t get it to work. They did however repair our bedside lamps, which had stopped working. The green promenade overlooking the ocean is nice, but there’s nothing much there, no bars or restaurants to go to: it is also quite dirty (dog poo and rubbish) and there are lots of homeless people everywhere, which makes it unsafe at night, as due to daily electricity outages, it’s very dark for a few hours. Overall an ok stay, but we wished we’d stayed in Green Point or elsewhere.

The service was excellent and very accommodating in every area for our stay….where to visit, best transportation to use, weather reports for the area we wanted to visit, delicious gourmet breakfast every day included with each night we stayed, the front desk and entire staff were very kind, the rooms and entire hotel was exceptionally clean and modern and the location was directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. It was great for long walks along the promenade overlooking the water. I will definitely stay there again. 5*’s for sure!

Very beautiful property. Friendly front office staff. Room was large and clean. Restaurant staff were not particularly attentive and the menus lacked vegan options, if they were available the restaurant staff weren’t sure and couldn’t make clear to us what was or wasn’t available for breakfast or for lunch.

We stayed for 9 nights for a working holiday. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in any part of the world. From the minute we stepped foot into the hotel the service was outstanding. The place is immaculate and the amenities phenomenal. We ate at the hotel several times and the food was excellent. The area is safe and has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. One of the highlights was sitting at Harvey’s Bar watching the sun go down with other guests and local capetonians.

We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping. We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. We will certainly consider staying here again.

Perfect location for us. The hop on hop off bus stop was just over the road and Ubers readily available for going out at night. 10 mins by car to V&A harbour and Camps Bay was 10 mins in other direction. Friendly and attentive staff although on occasion the service was quite slow - but we learned this is the South African way so went with it.

We had a fantastic night at the Winchester. We had a great dinner on a last night in the Cape Town in the courtyard and chilled by the pool the next day before our flight back to London. A beautiful hotel with great parking facility. Located along the coast line and easy walk of 20 mins up to the main bars and restaurants area or the stadium. Breakfast and all food we ate here along with the service is excellent. All the staff throughout the hotel are very attentive and happy

The Winchester was a wondeful place to stay. Less than 10 minutes by Uber to the Waterfront and close to Camps Bay. Sea Point also has some nice dining options and shopping. We felt safe walking around this area, even in the evening The hotel itself is beautiful. The inner courtyard with the bougainvillea is postcard perfect. The service is great and the rooms are nicely appointed and clean. We would love to return some day.

Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and the view from the hotel, service, and amenities cannot be beat. I would 100% recommend this hotel to any friend thinking about traveling to Cape Town!

This is an old, charming hotel overlooking the ocean in Sea Point and the staff are lovely, especially Talia, the brilliant Duty Manager, who’s fabulous and helpful. Although the hotel was recently refurbished, it needs more work and attention to detail. The gym and spa are still not ready and the new restaurant just opened when we were staying. There’s still work going on and it can be heard at times. We had a suite, 201, facing the ocean, but there is a 4-lane busy, fast road in front of the hotel and traffic noise travels. The current, old double-glazed windows are not sufficient so we had to wear earplugs at night to avoid being woken up around 6am by the traffic. Our room’s AC/heating system wasn’t working either, so we had no heating for 6 days, even though it was cold outside being winter. We were given a small blow heater instead. Someone came twice to look at the heating, but couldn’t get it to work. They did however repair our bedside lamps, which had stopped working. The green promenade overlooking the ocean is nice, but there’s nothing much there, no bars or restaurants to go to: it is also quite dirty (dog poo and rubbish) and there are lots of homeless people everywhere, which makes it unsafe at night, as due to daily electricity outages, it’s very dark for a few hours. Overall an ok stay, but we wished we’d stayed in Green Point or elsewhere.

Cape Town gave me so many beautiful memories, and my stay at the Manchester Boutique Hotel was one of them. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like family. The front desk, bellman, waiters and waitresses, everyone was so warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to celebrate me throughout my stay, especially for my birthday. Beyond the hospitality, I loved the hotel itself, the beautiful boutique design, pool, the restaurant (THE WAFFLES were my favorite for breakfast), spa, and the location is very close to the Sea Point Promenade. Being able to step outside and run along the ocean with those mountain views during the sunrise was everything. If you're planning a Cape Town trip and looking for an awesome hotel, definitely save this one

Minha experiência no Winchester foi excelente. O hotel é muito bem localizado, facilitando o acesso aos principais pontos da Cidade do Cabo. A arquitetura e a decoração são elegantes, com um lindo pátio interno repleto de verde, que torna o ambiente acolhedor e muito agradável. Os quartos são amplos, confortáveis e muito bem cuidados, e o banheiro é excelente. A equipe foi atenciosa durante toda a estadia. Sem dúvida, voltaria a me hospedar aqui e recomendo para quem busca conforto, charme e uma ótima localização.
