Aufenthalt für 2 Nächte

We booked a double room which was away from the main building of the pub. It wasn’t very noisy which was nice. Enough parking on site too. Our room was fine - quite clean and the bed was comfy. Tea and coffee were provided with a good selection. The only issue we had was with the bathroom - it was a wet room which didn’t drain that well. After using the shower everything was so wet ( the toilet and sink) that you couldn’t find a dry patch to put anything down. Also if you looked around the wet room at skirting board level it was in need of a deep clean. There was a window that opened in the wet room but you couldn’t have it wide open because of guests walking by. The towels were nice and big which was lovely. We had breakfast included which was nicely cooked although there was not a lot of choice besides cereals , fruit and toast. The lady that cooked the breakfast was very nice but she was the only member of staff that we really spoke to. This accommodation was good value but isn’t at the luxury end of the scale - still ok though. The village is very nice with some lovely old buildings and a good fish and chip shop.

Stayed here on a Monday night when the pub was closed; which meant it was blissfully peaceful at night. Room was very clean with all amenities thoughtfully provided & placed. The room (No 5) also had windows opposite each other, that could be opened & allowed a cooling cross breeze on a very warm day/night. There was also a good sized fan to help keep the room cool. Towels were fluffy & clean. Bead comfortable, pillows reasonable. Continental breakfast a bit basic (no yogurts or stewed fruits) but did have fresh fruit. Outside garden spaces are lovely. Off-street parking is available. A great place to stay for a comfortable, peaceful night (pub depending).

Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff and an excellent breakfast freshly cooked. I was asked if i wanted to eat in but unfortunately had other arrangements. The menu looked very nice
