Fantastic location, beautiful renovation to the hotel, walk to shopping and castles, great food and dining options. Salzburg is gorgeous and the hotel makes it a perfect vacation destination.

Great hotel and location. Arrived Monday evening. We walked around and most city restaurants were closed. The hotel should have advised us to make a reservation at their restaurant. We advised that we were hotel guests. We waited and were seated and food was delicious.

We had the best experience at Hotel Sacher! After checking in, Linda had showed us to our room personally which I think is a really nice touch! She also explained the different dining options within the hotel which was really helpful. The hotel has great dining options so that if you’re tired after a long day of touring you can eat great quality food- the Nockerln from Sacher Grill is the best we’ve had during our trip! The rooms were very clean with practical amenities. And the hotel was very accommodating with arranging our airport transfers. Every staff member is so nice and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves in Salzburg in the future we will definitely stay here again!

Hotellet var pænt og rent, dejligt værelse med gode senge. Alt var fint. Personalet var sikkert dygtige men meget upersonlige. Nærmest stressende at spise morgenmad mens tjenerne småskændes. Tjenerne virkede travle og for vigtige til at kikke på gæsterne.

Brand new, clean interior. The room was quiet and my wife and I were able to sleep well. Employees were all polite and friendly. The world famous Sachertorte given to us when we arrived was delicious. Everything in the refrigerator was free.

This property is gorgeous. We got connecting rooms for our family which worked out perfectly. It’s clean and the architecture is breathtaking. The staff are super friendly. Special shout out to Sahar for being so attentive and helpful with dining options and daily activities. We loved our breakfast at the Sacher hotel. The food, coffee and pastries were all A .

Sehr schönes traditionelles Hotel, sehr gute Lage. Das Zimmer war für den Preis relativ klein, das Frühstück für den Preis etwas zu teuer. Wir hatten bisschen Probleme mit den Lichtschalter, insbesondere wenn der Hauptschalter betätigt wird, dann sind auch die Steckdosen tot! So war das Handy uber Nacht nicht geladen!!!

Light system over-engineered and functionally problematic. First night unable to turn off lights without shutting down all power in the room. Hotel concierge wasn't even able to fix this. Tv in the bothroom vanity lacked remote control and could not be turned off without turning off fuse switch in the closet. Closet light motion sensor misprogrammed and light remained on for 30 minutes after any motion in the room. Again required fully turning off power in the room. Required lengthy involvement of maintenance crew the next day to resolve all of this.

I would have given this hotel an overall excellent rating and highly recommended it. We had a wonderful stay and the staff was incredibly helpful. However, we were told at check in that breakfast was included and each morning told that breakfast was included with our stay. Upon check out, we were charged nearly 600 euros for breakfast. When we called to rectify the situation, the hotel manager said that she would check with the breakfast manager and call me back. I never received a return call and the charge was not reversed. My memory of our stay went from very favorable to very disappointed.

Exceptional, quality, luxury are a few words that come to mind when I think of our time spent here. From the attentive check in, to keeping the kitchen open so we could dine, every one was superbly prepared to do their jobs to a level far superior than other luxury hotels. Lovely experience staying at Sacher. We were greeted warmly, even given a tour of the hotel and escorted to our room. The location is perfect since many attractions and restaurants are walking distance. Extra special to see fruit and the famous Sacher torte waiting for us in the room. And we had no idea that this is where Julie Andrews stayed when filming Sound of Music!

Overall our stay at the Hotel Sacher was fantastic. The only down side was the Hotel cafe, we tried it one morning and the experience was not good. Pay the extra and include breakfast when booking. Sacher Torte a must.!

This property is gorgeous. We got connecting rooms for our family which worked out perfectly. It’s clean and the architecture is breathtaking. The staff are super friendly. Special shout out to Sahar for being so attentive and helpful with dining options and daily activities. We loved our breakfast at the Sacher hotel. The food, coffee and pastries were all A .

Great hotel and location. Arrived Monday evening. We walked around and most city restaurants were closed. The hotel should have advised us to make a reservation at their restaurant. We advised that we were hotel guests. We waited and were seated and food was delicious.

This is easily our favourite hotel in the world. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and newly renovated. When they found out it was our 50th wedding anniversary, they upgraded us to a lovely room overlooking the river, with a balcony. Every dish we ate in the restaurants was delicious. A special nod to Anna who took such good care of us on the first evening!

Hotel de referência em Salzburgo como em Viena com quartos excelentes, serviço exemplar e várias opções de restauração incluindo explanadas no exterior. Pequeno-almoço magnífico para todos os gostos. Perto do centro e do local dos festivais de música que se faz muito bem a pé. O único defeito é não ter uma piscina interior. O valor que se paga é bastante elevado mas o retorno é positivo.

The stay at Sacher was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive in all service areas.. The building is in a fantastic location overlooking the old town and on the river Check in was delayed so we were offered a drink on the house while we waited in the beautiful bar. The hotel food is second to none . Breakfast although buffet style was full of choice to suit all needs. Eggs came to the table direct from the kitchen. Lovely and warm . Fine dining in the restaurant was a great experience We had the tasting menu and it was fabulous. The restaurant staff gave lots of info about the source of food and it's relevance to the city . As it was my birthday the staff supplied additional hand made chocolate and cake. Nothing was too much trouble . The room was so comfortable. Free mini bar in the room . Lovely toiletries and quality towels robes and bedding . The beds were turned down at night . We had a wonderful restful sleep and a result. Thanks to all at the Sacher hotel Salzburg.. .
