Wonderful property with incredibly helpful staff. We arrived before check in time but they greeted us warmly. Our original room had stairs which might be difficult for us to navigate at night so they changed our room. The new room wasn't immediately available but they quickly finished the cleaning for us. We had lots of questions and they had lots of answers about things to do and places to go. We were told that if we needed reservations for a restaurant, they could help and we'd be treated well. So true. The reservations they made yielded incredible service and generous extras. Breakfast was wonderful and served in the beautiful courtyard. The biggest challenge was noisy neighbors but the windows were soundproof so we slept well.

The room we had was large, beautiful, with a balcony. (But even if you have a room without, the rooftop terrace has a magnificent view). But what makes this hotel stand out is the service. The staff helped us with transfers to and from the airport, with dinner reservations, with booking activities, with laundry... They are very attentive to the needs/wants of the guests. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is in the centre of the old town. Note that this is a historic building with lots of stairs. If you have mobility issues ask for a room on a lower floor or accessible by elevator.
