Really good base for Triberg and trip on the Black Forest Railway. Glad we stayed two nights and not just one as hotel and staff great. Parking in garage. Good if basic food in restaurant saved the steep walk back into town. Lots of guests in hotel in evening. Indoor pool looked good.

Yogi at the front seat was very helpful. It is a cute little town. The plumbing was being fixed while we were there. It wasn’t ideal, but it was worth it for a large room and charming hotel. There was plenty of parking on the street.

Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus.

Great views from the rooms. Friendly staff and note that some rooms require use of stairs to access (for those of us with large suitcases). Rooms are very modern, clean and our family room was quite spacious. Pool and sauna were very nice. Only 15 min walk to any site. Restaurant on site for convenience. Great choice for stay in the area.

It was a good-sized room. I liked the layout of the room with the master room and separate sleeping area for the kids. The bathroom is good, it’s a stand in shower for those who prefer tubs. The breakfast spread was wonderful. It’s a a great location, we didn’t try the pool but I know it’s not something many hotels have in the area so that’s great. The rooms don’t have AC so that’s something to consider for the summer. It’s very close to a supermarket. I appreciated the free tickets to several attractions and the locked parking garage for cars was a great option. The hotel has an elevator, a little small but it’s always appreciated. There is an outside playground and a little play area inside for children, which is great for families. The TV channels offered were very good with things like Nickelodeon and Disney. Overall and excellent choice for families with children. I would definitely stay here again.

Hôtel tout près du centre de triberg. Belle vue. Bien située avec deux parking en sous sol payant mais quelle tranquillité votre voiture est bien garée. De belles chambres spacieuses bien équipées. Une belle salle de restaurant. Personnel très bien. Franchement rien à dire. Si seul bémol pas de peignoir ni de chaussons à disposition dans la chambre et si on souhaite en avoir il faut payer 5€? Que je trouve exagéré ! Mais c'est un hôtel que je recommande. A refaire.

Nettes bekanntes Hotel in Triberg mit tollem Ausblick aus den Zimmern in das Tal und auf die Stadt. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, großer Pool, große und ansprechend gestaltete Zimmer mit neuerem Bad. Lediglich das Treppenhaus und der Eingangsbereich könnten mal ein Update vertragen. Sauberkeit war aber überall gegeben. Wir waren zum wiederholten Male in diesem Hotel und werden sicher wieder kommen. Leider wenig Parkmöglichkeiten, wenn man später abends zum Hotel mit dem Auto zurückkehrt.

The Best Western Plus Hotel Schwarzwald Residenz is a lovely hotel. It has a beautiful view of the Schwarzwald/Black Forest. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel has onsite parking for a small fee of €6 a day or street parking is an option space available for free. The breakfast the hotel provided was exceptional with many different options from bacon & eggs to typical European breakfast items of meats, cheeses, Brötchen etc. There is no air conditioning, which was the only downside, but we were able to acquire a fan from the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Hotel is very beautifully location with sight to the village mountains and the room we stayed was spacious and clean. We arrived rather late so it was bit hard to be sure where to park, but did finally checked in and parked car. Nice breakfast and the manager lady and front desk was frie3dly and professional, we had great time at Triberg to buy those clocks and stuff for friends at home...... if we go tehr again, we will stay this hotel again.

I booked two rooms and we stayed three nights. We found the facility clean and charming. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had afternoon drinks on the patio once, but did not try dinner. We love the hotel pup. We were too tired to try the pool facilities but it looked lovely. We’d definitely stay again if we were in the area.

The staff and hotel were absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the gentleman that went above and beyond for us! We had booked the hotel last minute and he was so accommodating from the very beginning!! His kindness will never be forgotten. The rooms were beautiful and clean and so spacious! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Alles in allem war es ein guter Aufenthalt. Wir waren nur 2 Nächte. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Das Abendessen naja ..uns hat es nicht geschmeckt. Auf die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern müsste mehr geschaut werden. Wir hatten 4 Zimmer gebucht und in allen war es nicht optimal. Es sind junge Mädchen die putzen. Ausbaufähig.

Sehr gute Lage am Hang mit einem schönen Blick auf Triberg. Die Triberger Wasserfälle sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Modern ausgestattetes, sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit neu renoviertem Bad. Das Hotel verfügt zwar nicht über eine Klimaanlage, das war aber selbst an einem warmen Tag in der Nacht kein Problem, da man sehr gut lüften konnte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, es gab nichts auszusetzen. Das Preis- Leistungs-Verhälnis war absolut in Ordnung. Wir würden hier nochmals übernachten.

Lots to love about this hotel, a very friendly family feel to the place, spacious room with comfortable bed and high quality linens. Unfortunately during our stay we experienced very hot weather and the room had neither air conditioning or a fan, we were happy to have the windows open but experienced smoke rising to the 3rd floor from the bar below, and early morning chat from there too! Breakfast was a bit unadventurous. Nevertheless I would stay here again just for the feel of the place.

While the property is a bit dated, it is located about a 10 min. walk from the heart of the town with all the shopping, museums, food and hiking. The room came with a nice large patio overlooking the town. The hotel lacks air condition, but we did obtain a fan from the hotel staff.

Nice hotel with very large rooms and beds ! Our room had a separate area with the double-bed and a separate living room and balcony. The view on the landscape was very cute and relaxing. The receptionist was very kind and shared various tips on activities to do around the town.

The rooms don’t have AC so that’s something to consider for the summer. It’s very close to a supermarket. I appreciated the free tickets to several attractions and the locked parking garage for cars was a great option. The hotel has an elevator, a little small but it’s always appreciated. There is an outside playground and a little play area inside for children, which is great for families. The TV channels offered were very good with things like Nickelodeon and Disney. Overall and excellent choice for families with children. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very beautifully location with sight to the village mountains and the room we stayed was spacious and clean. We arrived rather late so it was bit hard to be sure where to park, but did finally checked in and parked car. Nice breakfast and the manager lady and front desk was frie3dly and professional, we had great time at Triberg to buy those clocks and stuff for friends at home...... if we go tehr again, we will stay this hotel again.

One of the best hotels that we have stayed at in a very long time. The staff was incredible and friendly. The restaurant we ate at twice a day for breakfast and dinner and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend and definitely return.

The staff and hotel were absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the gentleman that went above and beyond for us! We had booked the hotel last minute and he was so accommodating from the very beginning!! His kindness will never be forgotten. The rooms were beautiful and clean and so spacious! Fantastic property. Located high up on the side of a hill with an incredible overview of the town below. Our room had a balcony, and the hotel also had a lovely balcony overlooking the town where one could have drinks. A very nice breakfast buffet is included, and they also served dinner from a menu which is extra. The exterior and the lobby are decorated with folk elements from the area. The staff is cordial and helpful. We did have parking directly in front of the hotel. We really couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.

Sehr gute Lage am Hang mit einem schönen Blick auf Triberg. Die Triberger Wasserfälle sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Modern ausgestattetes, sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit neu renoviertem Bad. Das Hotel verfügt zwar nicht über eine Klimaanlage, das war aber selbst an einem warmen Tag in der Nacht kein Problem, da man sehr gut lüften konnte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, es gab nichts auszusetzen. Das Preis- Leistungs-Verhälnis war absolut in Ordnung. Wir würden hier nochmals übernachten.

Lovely hotel run by a family. We booked the large family room. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. There is no air conditioning so the hotel provided us a fan and it was fine. There is no mini fridge and it is year 2024...so the hotel should update those amenities. It would have been very convenient if there was a fridge to store our food we buy from the town. The hotel is near Triberg waterfalls and the bird park and it is walkable distance. Bring good walking shoes and exercise clothes because you will walk a lot in Triberg. It was really beautiful and fun. Only negative thing about the hotel in my opinion is the breakfast and restaurant. The breakfast is from 6:45am to 10:00. We went for breakfast at 9:00 and they don't replenish the fruit. So at 9:00 when we go for breakfast there were only 2 apples left for fruit. The next day only 2 nectarines left for fruit. They should replenish fruit for all guests: not only the guests who come downstairs to eat early breakfast. Besides the fruit situation, there is enough bread rolls, cereal, yogurt, eggs and meat for everybody. The hotel restaurant food is shockingly bad. Our first night we ordered the chicken breast dish. It was amateurish. There was very little flavour...it was covered in cheese and some tomatoes. I am not expecting fine dining but I expect a bit more sophistication from the Best Western brand. The chicken was not cooked fresh. It tasted old. Not worth the €22. But overall the hotel is positive.
