The Kingdom Resort

The resort was excellent - accommodation perfect (we had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable) the pool, splash park and spa all top . The staff were conscientious, the kids activities were great. Located close to the Pilansberg with excellent game drive opportunities. Wonderful place for family holiday.

There is a need for more shaded seating by the hot pool

Great place to take kids. Facilities were maintained and perfect for our stay. Office staff were helpful. Workers at the rock wall and trampolines seemed unwilling to perform their assigned tasks. Pool was being cleaned on on Sunday morning until 9am although the swimming pool was intended to be available from 7am, many families were waiting.

Had a wonderful experience here. The facilities are great and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Special shout-out to Ingrid at reception who was fantastic, and TT in the kitchen for the excellent service. Highly recommend!

To The Manager The Kingdom Resort We arrived on Monday 25th August 2025. We checked in after driving from Kruger National Park. After a long drive, we were greeted with fresh juice and popcorn in reception. The check-in process took a couple of minutes, and we were allocated our 2-bedroom villa. The villa had a lovely, spacious main bedroom with a double bed with an ensuite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The second bedroom had two single beds with an en suite bathroom with a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge freezer and dishwasher and has everything you need to prepare a meal for your family. The villa I had booked had a splash pool. When I arrived, the splash pool had a cover over it. When I took it over, there was quite a lot of debris in it. None of my family felt like using it due to this. As we had been travelling, we were looking to do some laundry when I booked. I had checked, and laundry facilities were listed as one of the amenities. I went to reception and was told laundry could be left at reception and it would be returned by 21:00 the next evening so there were no laundry facilities on site this was disappointing. On the first evening, we got the free shuttle into Sun City for dinner, which was really handy. On day 2, we went out for the day and returned in the early afternoon and used the mini golf course, which was really good. We used the outdoor pool at the jungle bar as the pool closest had been cordoned o

Amazing place for young children . We spent 3 days there with our 3 year old. Every day we spent time at the water slides which she absolutely loved. Most times we had the slides to ourselves. The rooms are very nice. They have a generator so you don’t lose power during load shedding. The pool was a little chilly but we had some overcast days during that time. It has a free shuttle to SunCity and is close to the national park where we took our own vehicle in to safari / see the animals. We really enjoyed it as a very family friendly spot.

It was fine to stay there, but the bar closes at 9 and there is only really one restaurant, so you can't do much. If you're booking here to save money on staying at Sun City, yet still go there each day, what you save is cancelled out by how much it costs to get in, so for convenience just pay more and stay at Sun City itself (last shuttle back was 10.30 so had a time limit). The staff were great and the rooms were clean, but it's just a lot of hassle commuting and not getting Sun City resident benefits automatically.

The park is conveniently located near to the Pilansberg National Park gates. Grounds are family friendly and offer lots of activities for the kids. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. We wanted to conduct guided night drives into the park but there was no offerings with the resort and staff were unable to direct us as to the best way to book something. We ended up talking directly with the Pilansberg National Park staff directly to book a drive.

Quarto completo e confortável. A piscinas com água muito geladas e tirando as piscinas, todos outros entretenimentos são cobrados a parte e com valores altos.

This was our 4th visit to Kingdom. We stayed in the Villa. Really well appointed and perfect accommodation for 3 adults. Very clean and tidy, quiet, the perfect location for some R & R. Meals and service in the restaurant were great, but need to replenish the breakfast buffet items more regularly. A couple of minor issues: a safe battery and the a/c in the 2nd bedroom, but they were addressed immediately.

The room was leaking as it was heavely raining house 10 with 3 bedroom and private pool, The power went off as day before checking out so there was not water for us on the day of check out and the kitchen has too much flies and birds no order at all.the staff they are friendly they are trying but the place is losing its essence as we were going back the second time

Nacht bijgeboekt en andere kamer gekregen waar we niet op wifi raakten. Gemeld aan receptie, 2 personen komen nakijken maar vonden het probleem niet, dus geen wifi. Alles heel goed onderhouden, vriendelijk personeel, menu kaart is beperkt. Bungalows geven veel privacy.

The rooms were clean which made our stay very comfortable, the employees are friendly and willing to assist.

Very easy check in and out with super friendly and helpful staff. Our family unit was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Unit was cleaned daily. We made use of the family pool in our unit as the larger pool got a bit overcrowded. Lovely place to stay with family and not too long of a drive to get to Pilanesburg or Sun City. Will definitely stay again.

The property is a great family oriented location. Plenty of entertainment for kids. The property is well maintained, nicely set up for self catering, exactly what we required. The room was a little noisy.

Rooms are updated and big. Parking is easy and very safe. Peter the bartender was wonderful and the food at the restaurant was wonderful

Booked for 2 days but can only book in at 15:00 so i then only received 1 and half day. Wanted to take shower in evening and morning no hot water. Aircon did not work properly cooling the room.

It was a great experience, although the cellphone signal is weak for some carriers and the resort Wi-Fi is not very strong or reliable.

Muito bom. Os quartos que precisam colocar um isolamebto acústico. Dava para ouvir tudo do outro quarto e o pessoal dormiu bem tarde então nos incomodou bastante.

We stayed in one of the rooms. Was nice enough. While we were sleeping 1 night the picture frame above the bed fell off and hit my two year old child in the face leaving a mark. I couldn’t call the front desk as they have limited service in the evenings. So I had to leave a message on there website and the response was given to me via checkout that someone would be there at 10am to check it out when we were checking out and leaving! Not very accommodating or caring toward the guest. Especially a child who was hurt in her sleep. I thought it could have been handled better and I didn’t even get a call or response back from anyone in management. Very poor service!!!

The staff could not have been friendlier-from the security guard, cleaning lady, gardeners, reception, convenience store clerk, and restaurant workers. 5 minute drive to Pilanesberg. Great value for money. Our three bedroom chalet was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. This was our second time to stay and would definitely stay again!

Problem was that they allocated us to a normal little room, whereas we booked a wheelchair friendly room, their excuse was that occupants extended their stay, hence we had to take the other room, our room keycard had a naude as sirname. Staff , cleanliness and food were verry good

We stayed at the Kingdom resort so we could go on a safari at the Pilanensburg preserve. Food was good & inexpensive... loved the villa with small pool & BBQ... felt very safe.

Nice location, easy to reach, but the road close by is a bit noisy. We were not informed upfront that they were extending the park, but on the morning you could hear the builders come in.

Convent location, ideal for small kids and enjoyed as a family

Very close to Sun City, the villas are still up to standard even now. It was my 2nd stay since pre covid and was glad to see they are maintained.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, water park for kids, good restaurant. TV was not working and additional cost for use of AC was unusual.

Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt sehr schön und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer großzügig und funktionell eingerichtet. Minuspunkte gibt es beim Essen. Das ist für Massenbetrieb ausgelegt…. mein Rumpsteak war eines der zähesten, dass ich seit langem gegessen habe…. Kellner Alex war großartig und unseren Aufenthalt aufgewertet

Such a great stay and wonderful chalet / rooms. A little limited in terms of food choices but honestly that was not a big deal. Greats grounds and lots of activities there as much as in the Park

It’s very affordable for being close to the national park , dining option I really just one , breakfast is buffet style , if you want something else its a lunch sandwich ; unless you want to go to Sun City or somewhere else . It safe and staff is friendly .
