Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gute Lage im Zentrum.

Gut gelegenes Hotel, allerdings gibt es praktisch keine Einzelbetten. Die Matratze ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ohne Probleme wurde eine zweite Bettdecke zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Schallisolierung der Zimmer nach aussen ist schlecht, zumindest in unserem Zimmer war der Lieferverkehr ab ca. 7 Uhr recht mühsam. Die Klimaanlage ist ein Rätsel, zumindest ist es uns nicht gelungen, eine Einstellung zu finden, welche angenehm kühlt ohne übermässig zu Blasen. Für „Unvorhergesehens“ wurden bei Ankunft 100 GBP Kaution belastet. Davon wurden über 18 GBP als Servicegebüht einbehalten. Habe ich so noch nie erlebt und finde ich strange. Positiv ist das Bad im Haus, welches Morgens und Abends kostenlos benutzt werden kann. Ebenso eine Anzahl Getränke in der Minibar. Für den Spezialpreis über Booking OK, mit Standardpreis für das Gebotene überteuert.

I can't fault this hotel or the staff we met. We had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Lovely touches like a mini bar with complimentary soft drinks. It is in a central location, and apart from the fact it doesn't have a car park it is an ideal place to stay. A special shout out to Jenny at reception who went out of her way to be helpful.

Let’s start with the hotel itself, it is stunning, tucked away but also walking distance from pretty much everything, the main lobby is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and easy to get to. The room - It was one of the courtyard rooms, it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and the bed was wonderful, the courtyard is accessible from the room itself through some French doors and very private, it has a good sized TV and the bathroom was wonderful, they give you good quality loo paper (Yes, that’s more important than you think.) Tea and coffee with a coffee machine and the room even had a radio. All in all, 10/10. The Bar – It is a small personal bar, but there are lounges to relax so plenty of space even though it feels personal, a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from and expertly put together and severed by staff that know what they are doing, we will talk about them soon. The Restaurant – We had breakfast and 1 evening meal here, and the food was amazing, good quality and cooked to perfection, and excellent range to choose from, good portion sizes and served quickly without being rushed.
